I'm just asking here but how can you write 13 paragraphs? It's not possible... and possibly unlucky, except that I don't accept 13 as a bad number.

I hate it when I join a CASUAL roleplay and stuff like that happens, though.

The same way authors writes a book, I'd imagine but when it comes to writing a long into it can depend on what is involved. I do a lot of my own world building, so you have to get creative with the world, then you have side characters because a roleplay is just to boring with two characters. there is the time of day, the personalities of characters, actions and lots of stuff to write about. Just got to open your mind and think about how it looks and how you would describe the thought.

@Silas I just don't join casual roleplays or groups. I stick to one on ones and request a partner who likes detail. I don't really care if someone wants to match my intros or replies because roleplaying is suppose to be fun and not a competition but I do like a partner who doesn't insult me for writing a good amount. Or a wish washy one that says "I want lots of detail." then complains about the detail they asked for. 

Mhm, there's nothing wrong with that.

I like long intros and I dislike the drama that person created for you. Seriously, if they didn't want detail don't say that you do. I'm sure you will find someone else appreciative of the effort you put in your posts.

I don't mind the intro being long, it's supposed to be long. Even if you put background settings in a separate post you still need to bring in some descriptions in the intro.


I admire people who can write quality long posts, and even if it takes time I will read it carefully.


I've seen worse when the person straight up ignore all the settings in their posts and pretend they had read it, which happened to my friend. All the effort seemed wasted when it was not appreciated. It doesn't matter whether it was casual or detailed.

Y'all make me feel better. Gotta go to work in a better mood but I will be sad by the time I get home.
