Realistic or Modern Breach And Clear

Axel The Englishman

The Holy Crusader
Breach And Clear
Trouble brews in New Conway. 32 gunmen have just stormed the headquarters of the Federal Office of National Investigation, and anybody who couldn't escape in time is now a hostage and a tool for their demands. Negotiations show no signs of progress. The situation is dire.

An armoured vehicle roared through the streets of the city. On each flank, the word, 'ICRU', was stamped upon the hardened metal surface in flamboyant orange. This was the solution to the problem. The NCPD's absolute best and brightest.

As the vehicle pulls up to the scene, 6 masked individuals burst out through the doors. Everyone surrounding the building stopped and stared. They knew what was about to happen. Everyone started clearing out, and it was time for the ICRU to get to work.

Monarch pushed through the doors of the vehicle and laid 2 boots flat on the concrete. What had been a scene of panic was now a scene of absence. The only people that remained to watch the light show were officers from the New Conway Police Department. They were ready to move in once the ICRU had done all the heavy lifting.

Monarch marched forward, and made sure his subordinates were following. It was time to get into position. It was time to be the uncredited heroes of today.

"Jaw, ring the door bell. I want thermite on the shutters and a breaching charge dead centre. Coco, stack up on what will be our point of entry and get ready to move in. Maple, you'll be behind me. Monte, opposite of Coco. I want to see these wankers weeping when we move in. Hint, hint. And Wizard, I want eyes on the top floor."

Monarch slammed into position, waiting for Coco to get in front and for the rest of his team to get to work.

Stepping out of the vehicle, Wizard quickly matched his pace with Monarch, trembling quite a bit. Standing beside himself, he could see the whole building before him, with the other responders looking at his team with awe.
Just like Tim Granshee Team-6 Siege! This is quite exciting. - Wizard smiled to himself under his balaclava, as he acknowledges his order from Monarch with a shy nod.

Wizard grabbed his gears and sat against the side of the building's outer wall. There, in all his solitude, he grabbed Charlotte and threw her in the air gently, as he lightly tapped into his arm-strapped control pad. There, he guided the quiet drone to the top floor, scanning the empty rooftops - before approaching the interior via the ventilation system. Once inside, he dropped Charlotte smoothly onto the marble floor and walked her throughout the building, noting the power stations, and entry points, while avoiding hostile patrols. Looking through his arm-pad, he started drawing up a map of the interior. Wizard would set up several of his other crawler-drones, starting them up and relocating them to the top of the building utilizing their magnetic-gripped legs.
"Spiderman would be proud." - Wizard mumbled as he continue his work on setting them up for an offensive, as soon as Beta and Gamma sets it off.
"Alreicht... Its all yours now, Sturmtruppen." said Wizard softly as he look over to his companions at the main entry point.

(Radio-communication)
Wizard to Team:
"Wizard to Team. Be advised, roof-top is clear of hostiles, possible hostile escape routs are marked southeast and south-south of the building. Top floor is barricaded on several entry point, no eyes on hostages. My best guess - they're in the council room on the same floor. Continuing with indoors recon, over."

Wizard raised his legs up and down, pretending to walk up the opposite building, whilst sitting down on the sidewalk - prompting many to look at him with curious attentiveness. Minding his own creativity, he awaits his minions' positioning on the roof top.

Coco gripped his shield as the vehicle transports the team to the location, sweat rolling down his face. No matter how many times he has responded to calls that require him to be the point man he will always be nervous. A breach will always be different. You never know what may suddenly come into play. The vehicle braking as the doors open, climbing out with the team. Planting his two feet firmly onto the pavement as he begins following Monarch, examining the buildinging and what would seem to be the point of entry. Monarch gave out his orders, upon hearing his he moved into position alongside the right side of the entry point.

"In position. Possibility of not breaching blind?"

He asked over commas. Gripping his shield as he awaited the response.

(did over phone, I apologize for the lack of detail.)

Another mission for the bunch. Jaw's grip on his gear tightened as their transport came to a stop, with the sunlight greeting them as Monarch pushed the doors wide open. He followed Monarch as they walked towards the building. As Monarch gave out orders, Jaw listened to his and prepared the gear required for the breaching.
"Affirmative."
He answered Monarch as he moved up to the entry point and stared into the shutter. After drawing imaginary lines for cutting, Jaw loaded the thermite gun and glanced back at his teammates.
"Gimme a clear and I'll give it a knock."
He said.

Monarch

The rush of adrenaline was already setting in. Monarch was just itching to get this over and done with as soon as possible. The longer they took getting ready, the more likely the terrorists will realise negotiations are just a smokescreen for their entry.

Monarch checked his wrist. The motion sensor fixed to his arm boasted 5 blips beyond the shutters. "
I'm counting 5 hostiles in the next room. We'll get 2 with the charge, and the rest will be too confused to put up much of a fight."

He turned to the rest of the team. "
When we bust in, we'll need to go quiet. The terrorists aren't expecting us, and they'll start shooting hostages before we can make it to the top floor."

Maple quickly got out of the van as it came to a stop and followed the squad. Upon hearing her assignment she fell into step behind Monarch and then waited for the entry after muttering a small "roger" in affirmation. She was ready for whatever was to come. Special operations had trained her for dealing with high stress situations. They were never the same, so she was still always on her toes, but her facial features rarely changed during a mission, usually calm and collected, even when she was about to lose the fight against time. What worried her the most was that not everything was like it was in the movie, not all bombs had visible timers and attaching one of her own was a risky business. She was rather attune with reading a bomb, or rather hearing almost imperceptible clicks that could help give her an estimation of time, but it was never an exact science. She was always slightly comforted by her armor. At least for smaller explosions, she was protected. She always kept her team away from the danger zone. She might be the youngest of the group, but she often had their lives in one hand and a pair of wire cutters in the other.

After monarch spoke, Maple had her gun at the ready. She might be the bomb specialist, but all of them had to have some way to defend themselves. Being discrete was never a problem with her, so she went silent, just waiting for the sign to move as her mind raced. She waited for Monarch's signal as her gaze moved to Jaw and Coco and waited for them to give the team a dramatic introduction.

Morte exited the van eerily calm, a faint hint of a smile on her face. As her boots thumped along the sidewalk she couldn't help but think to herself. "Called out to kill terrorist and getting paid to do it. Just a normal Tuesday."

She doesn't bother with checking her gear, she knows it like her own skin and wears them as such, Her P90 with four extra mags, Her white phosphorous (Willy Pete's) and fragmentation grenades and tear gas and of course, her baby, a SIG-Sauer P226, attached to her thigh, she never leaves home with out it.

She gave her baby a pat and approached the scene. Hearing her boss bark out orders, she scoffed inside her head and quietly mutters. "What, were they too cheap to get us rooftop for a breach point, I mean we're only risking our lives, geez?"

"So, blow up the door, walk in and shoot, Right?" She pauses for a moment, "Oh yeah, don't shoot the hostages, got it Vinnie." She winked and approached her position at the door, opposite side of Coco. She gave him a smirk and readied her weapon. "Ready when you are, Chocolate!"

"That's the clear then."
Jaw muttered as his thermite gun approached the shutter. Right now he didn't need any deep thoughts to go through. All he needed was a neat square and a handful of explosives. With calm hands, Jaw began to draw a square on the shutter, the red hot lines left on the trail of the thermite gun. Shortly the square was complete. Jaw quickly reached for the breaching charge and slapped it on the center.
"Doorbell ringing in three, two, one."
Jaw activated the detonator.

Maple prepared herself for the explosion, feeling the reverberation in the ground beneath her. She was in full action mode now, but she always listened to orders. Monarch had told her to stay behind him for now, so she had to wait for him to move.

Coco braced himself as the explosives place upon the door detonate, the doors blowing inwards as he moves in with his shield. Holding up his shield with his left arm and body and a P250 sidearm in his right arm he begins the entry right after the detonation, leading his team in as he locates the nearest target and steadies his aim onto it. Attempting to let off a shot or two onto the target.

Monarch

As the shutter was sent hurling inside the building and his team proceeded to enter, Monarch stuck close behind Coco, taking advantage of the mobile cover his shield offered. A gunman, dazed from the explosion, took aim and proceeded to fire. His bullets would only bounce off the Point Man's protection. He did not seem acquainted with fighting at all.

Monarch strafed to the left and brought the sights off his rifle right up to his eye. He pulled the trigger twice, and watched as the masked shooter buckled under his lifeless weight.

Maple followed the others closely, on the lookout for any other targets. Out of the corner of her eye she saw movement. She turned her head to the left and saw a man trying to sneak shots around the corner that lead down a hallway. She quickly fixed the sights of her weapon on him and he dropped to the ground before his finger pressed the trigger once. She continued to survey the area in case anyone else was around as she returned to her spot behind Coco and Monarch. "What's next?"

Monarch

Monarch fixed his attention back towards his team. He eyed each any everyone of them, taking a few mental notes with every glance. He marched back and forth, nodded at random, before eventually returning to address his unit.

"
Alright, Coco, Jaw, and Maple will follow me up the stairway to the top floor and move towards the conference room." He took a look to his right, acknowledging those who were yet to be handed out orders. "Wizard and Monte await for helicopter pickup and land on the rooftop. Wizard will knock out the power once we've made it to the top floor, and Monte will toss some tear gas into the ventilation."

Monarch approached the door leading to the stairway, before turning back to his team for one last time. "
These people aren't afraid to become martyrs, lads. And they won't be afraid to take innocent lives. Silencers on."

Maple nodded silently. She was one of few words usually. She made sure her silencers were equipped, both to her main weapon and pistol. She checked everything else that strapped to her legs to make sure that her ammo was ready should she need more. She wondered what was going to await them at the conference room. She knew for sure that there goal was to get all the hostages out alive and that was what mattered, so she pushed other thoughts away. She trusted her team, they would do their best to get the job done.

"Okay, sir." Morte grumbled as she walked away, attaching the silencer onto the muzzle of her P90 and stretching. "Oh, so they did spring for the helicopter? Luckily we're not already dead."

She walked over and leaned against the wall next to Wizard. "Hey there, Webster." She removed her knife from out the sheath on front of her flak and began tossing up and catching it absentmindedly.

She heard the whir of the helicopter in the distance and grinned. It was time to get the job done, no matter which way she decided to do it.

She looked over at Wizard as the helicopter landed and began walking towards it. "You know it's a good thing these terrorists are stupid. If I'd a done it, I would have lined the entrance with the hostages, that way no one makes it out alive. Not them or me."

"Its a good thing they are not me." She thinks to herself, shrugged and hops on the side of the helicopter, waiting to begin their ascent to the roof.

Wizard covered his ears on Jaw's words, as a faint, but recognizable thud followed. The team's lead threw themselves inside, neutralizing most of the counted hostiles on sight. Wizard then proceeds to get up and await the helo's landing next to his assigned partner - as Monarch gave his orders. His FNP tightly grasped in his right hand, while his left handles Charlotte's views of the top floor. From what he can see, multiple contacts have relocated themselves after hearing the initial explosion and the gunfire.

"H-Hey Morte." responded Wizard awkwardly in a light German accent as the prior stood next to him. He looked at her with his eyes widened behind his goggles - out of amazement at how Morte handled her melee tool. He would accumulate knife wounds should he attempt to try what she did. Given her words, Wizard thought to himself in concern, regarding her perspective on the opposing side.
"Well, I'm glad you're on our team." Wizard chuckled nervously at the thought of her said-scenario.

Mounting the side of the bird, Wizard attached his sidearm with a suppressor, emulating his companion's procedures. The helicopter soon make its descend on the roof, prompting the two to bail out and set up for the next stage of the operation. Once the roof was locked down by the two, Wizard guided Charlotte towards the basement to locate the main power station, followed by one of his crawler-drone. Utilizing its internally-attached electronic magnetic pulse detonate device, Wizard reports over the radio:

(Radio-communication)
Wizard to Monarch:
"Morte-Wizard to Monarch. We're in position. Just give the word, and I'll cut the lights, boss. Over."

Wizard then proceed to assist Morte in locating and opening the appropriate ventilator for the tear gas. Having done so, he took a knee and studied the surrounding buildings.

Monarch

Monarch shimmied his way through the door leading to the stairway. A quick glance upwards revealed that a lot of calories would be burnt today. Maybe it was part of the terrorists' plot to kill them with exercise?

"
I hope you enjoy marching up 128 flights of stairs." Monarch would just have to force himself through this pain. He may have been in the Army, but the Army doesn't exactly teach you on how to effectively run up the stairway whilst simultaneously forcing yourself to live on sheer willpower.

"Similar to training camp." Maple muttered to herself as she followed Monarch. She didn't mind climbing stairs. Sure, it would be exhausting, but she could deal with that. It was almost a little dizzying looking up at the flights of stairs though, so she focused back on the first flight. She then turned her attention to Monarch. "Should I stay behind you still, or can I go on ahead a little?" she said. She was still getting used to a slower pace of things, relatively, but she was aware of her surroundings and guessed that she would be fine just going up the stairs a little faster. Time was of the essence anyway, so she hoped he wouldn't mind.
