Vices:
One of Addison's deep weaknesses is her insecurity; though she is smart and clever and passionate, she always underestimates herself and is constantly wondering about what she can do better (or what she has done wrong). She is oversensitive and will often be offended or humiliated by the simplest of things; however, she recognizes this flaw and tries to tell herself that it is just her own insecurities (though this rarely works in practice). Because she feels like her sensitivity won't be understood or accepted by others, she isolates herself emotionally to avoid seeming clingy or weak. The only person who seemed to have some understanding of her feelings was Toni. In junction with her mean girl persona and insecurity, she is easily jealous and incredibly vain, especially regarding her looks or popularity. Surprisingly, she's more humble and secretive with her art. She's also ruthless in terms of what she believes she needs to do in order to survive, literally or figuratively. Though she may feel bad for doing what she does, her need to fit in will usually override her conscience.
Virtues:
Her sensitivity isn't always negative. It gives her the capacity to be very empathetic and observant. This makes her a wonderful listener that always understands her friends' points of view. However, this also means she understands the consequences of her actions, including her not-so-nice ones. Being observant helps her easily adapt to her whatever environment she is thrown in, especially social situations. Her wit, exemplifying how sharp and clever she is, has helped her fit in with the popular crew. When necessary, she's well spoken. Being innately Type A, Addison is very neat and tidy, with an inner need for control over most situations (she's the type of person that finds organizing therapeutic). Additionally, Addy is very introspective, though this often leads her to withdraw into herself and overthink many things.

Bio:
With two full-time working parents and being the middle child, Addy has never been the center of attention. Although her older brother used to care for her immensely, they drifted apart once he was in high school. Now that he's in college, they rarely talk at all. Her younger sister is constantly annoying her, so they avoid each other as often as possible. When she was younger, Addison grew up as the overweight kid of her grade (she wasn't even really overweight, just chubby). She was used to the teasing and feeling bad about herself. As a result, her self esteem plummeted and she immersed herself in art, finding a love in sketching and painting. She is going to an accredited art school and hopes to have a career in the field, probably in curating or graphic design.

In middle school, she joined the junior track and field team because it was the cool thing to do at the time. She started eating less, maybe unhealthily so at times. Her family didn't notice and personally she didn't care, because she gradually the lost weight and starving herself gave her a sense of control sometimes. Perhaps it was her change in diet and exercise, or maybe the puberty fairy took pity on her, but by the time she entered high school she was no longer the chubby little 5th grader that never got picked in dodgeball. And it was just pure luck that she ended up in the seat next to Toni in 5th period Spanish. Addy was also lucky in that Toni found her worthy of her friendship, pulling her into the popular crowd that would have otherwise ignored her. As a middle child, she was used to lying, observing, and pretending. Fortunately, those skills applied here as well.

Addison, though jealous of how easily Toni could make people gravitate towards her, felt fortunate to call the school's queen her best friend. They understood each other in a way no one else really could. They were the perfect duo on the surface, always in tune with each other and supposedly each other's closest confidants. However, their friendship was not perfect. There was an imbalance underneath that was only amplified by Addison's anxiety at one day being replaced and unhappiness at only being someone's groupie (even as a very important part of said person's entourage).

At prom night, Addy was the one that found Toni's dead body.

h i s t o r y;Born to failed football player Andy Glover and retired cheerleader Cassandra Bolin-Glover, it's safe to say that Kyle's entire life has been centered around sports. Since he was a young child, his father has put an immense pressure on him to perform at the best of his abilities. It started with football summer camps at age 5 and from there, things just escalated. He didn't mind though, in the beginning, he loved the game. But after a few years, he realized that it wasn't just a game in the Glover family. It was a way of life. One that you don't fuck around with.

Kyle was never allowed to explore his other interests. He still remembers the day his father laughed in his face and called him an idiot when he wanted to look into photography. That was the same day when an intense bitterness starting building inside of him towards football. However, he knew his parents were right. When it came to survival in the real world, football was the only thing Kyle had going for him. His GPA was already trashed because of only doing the bare minimum to remain eligible to play. There was no way he could get into college without a coach recruiting him. In a way, he'd sealed his own fate.

It was easy to see why in high school Kyle fell in with the popular crew. Devilishly handsome with a polarizing personality made him a great fit. He and Toni weren't best friends by any means, but they did enjoy tormenting students together from time to time. Even so, Kyle was never one for over the top social gatherings, and he was only going to prom because his girlfriend begged him to. He did arrive quite a bit late, however, as he was stuck looking for his bowtie for a large amount of time. He seemed both shocked and distraught when he and the rest of his peers discovered Toni's dead body.m i s c;theme song: here

Bio: Toni grew up in your average, stereotypical wealthy suburban, only-child home. Despite always being a fan of the kind character who is always the protagonist, in middle school she learned the hard way that that kind of story doesn't happen in real life. Instead, once she reached high school and was finally done with the pretending to be kind to everyone, she decided to instead become the mean popular girl. Even if she was usually betrayed by the end of the movie, the popular girl still ruled until then. Besides, if she was going to go out, Toni Kestner was going to make an exit.

Other: She died at the school prom, two weeks before school's end. It's up to her fellow students to find out why / She's cheated on the king numerous times, so the fact that he's done the same to her doesn't really bother her. After all, their relationship is more of a PR stunt than love-based.

Her parents called the cops and caused a full-on panic one time when she "disappeared", just the find her home an hour later safely in bed. While not necessarily a troublemaker, Aj has had the reputation ever since 4th grade of the girl who doesn't give a damn. The only thing she doesn't do is ditch class more than twice a week, considering that she wants to get out of this hole of a town as soon as possible. Especially after what happened to Toni Kestner.

Bio: Sadie grew up with an older brother who partied. Their parents were away a lot, usually working, sometimes just gone for 'them' time. Although Jacob was supposed to be watching her, he spent a lot of time with friends, usually of the female persuasion. Mercedes was sent to bed early a lot, just so that he could drink and/or hook up. It was the lifestyle she was used to, so when she hit late middle school/early high school, that's when all hell broke loose. She started drinking and smoking, and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Her parents, still gone a lot, didn't notice the change at first. It wasn't until she came home sporting the lily tattoo that her mom freaked, and brought her father into it. Darrel did not grow up in the city. He moved there when he was 13, but quickly asserted himself as the top of his class. He was from a poor, working, not very educated family, and „study, or you might end up picking up trash“ was frequently heard in his household. Money was always a stingy point for them, but Darrel was determined to never experience such hard life again. That, combined with his natural curiosity and affinity towards studying made him to be a rare, assertive kind of nerd.

Loudmouthed, opinionated, leaderly and smart – in highschool he immediately became the captain of the chess team and the president of the maths club. He also founded „The School Club of Nerds“, which, despite it's kinda self-ironic name, served for all those nerds who identified as such to try and demand school funds for this or that, as they needed. He also joined a casual SF fans club in his local video game shop.

Despite being the coolest nerd among the nerds, he was still bullied and abandoned by popular kids. Whatever, he didn't care anyway. His Star Wars roleplaying group made up for a better company. His DnD friends loved his witty comments. Those punk and rock kids were more accepting – their parties were better, their parties weren't posh, their parties were held in abandoned warehouses, not private villas with silver cuttlery. And he liked that.

At the age of 16, Toni had his brother arrested for drug-dealing. Darrel dabbled a bit in his brother's business as well, mostly running the finances of the whole thing. Money was bad, but his brother's profit contributed at least something. Pissed off, hurt, and out of himself with rage, he couldn't stop himself from scoffing when he'd see Toni in the halls, or humiliating her in front the class with sarcastic and mean comments.

Ryan was born as the first child to Marion and Lisse Merkiel. He lived an average life, a bit under the middle class. His father worked as a truck driver for an electric company. His mother worked from home. When he was 7, his sister, Azalea was born.

One day the power went out in his neighborhood. His father was dispatched to the generator, where they found it was sabatoged, a man was pissed at his ex-girlfriend. He was going to shut off the power than kill her.

His father walked up, and tried to talk him out of it. The man was beginning to calm down when police arrived on scene. They began firing at the man, believing he was going to attack his father. A bullet hit the generator, causing a small explosion.

The man was killed, and his father was sent into a coma. While his father was recovering, his mother had to support the family on her low pay. She fell into a deep depression. Ryan had to support himself and Azalea by 13.

A week after he turned 14, his father awoke from his coma, it was a miracle. However after returning home he realised his it was no longer the same person. The constant stress and sadness had changed her.

They divorced a month later, and two weeks later his mother commit suicide in a motel room. His father raised them alone, and was able to get a higher paying job, and kept the family afloat. He moved the family to [I forget what town this is], where he met Toni, and everyone else.

And the rest is now.

Jed was raised in Boston. His family moved here when he was 15 for his father's new work. He lived a decent childhood without too much drama needing to be detailed.

It was basic high school drama. He met friends and when school ended went to the academy. Coming back he rekindled a high school romance, and when he was 24, they married.

However a robbery gone wrong ended her life two months later. He vowed to protect people, and not to lose someone else again. Although, he still find it hard to find will to wake up every morning.

He has moderate depression after the events, and is always paranoid of something going to happen. He gets impatient, not wanting to be in one place to long.

bio. Born in Kyoto, Japan. Mei was an explorer, she would traverse her small neighbourhood until she knew every quaint street alley off by heart. The charm of traditional life rubbed off on little Mei, she learnt to not take the simple things for granted and to put her heart into every thing she did. Her parents would tell her stories about their great life in America and vowed one day to move back there when Meileen was old enough.

The promise was put off in a saddening turn of events when her mother passed away from cancer when Mei was nine. Soon, her father became unemployed and they barely managed to scrape by. Luckily, Meileen was a dedicated student. At eighteen, she earned a scholarship overseas and began working as an assistant teacher at Wilkins High School until she became promoted to a full time science teacher.

Her life was yet again turned upside down when a teen was murdered at the senior prom. Azuki is determined to get to the bottom of the case before the murderer strikes again.
