In Game

It took Rosalyn a moment to regain her vision when the bright light finally disappeared. Looking around she realized they were back in the hangar. Rosalyn removed her hand form Nu and stared at the device on her wrist in awe. "I can't Believe that just worked." Rosalyn heard everyone's voices saying that they should hurry up to the ship while Gl'ocer went to go open the hanger. Rosalyn was about to start running to the Odyssey when she saw Nu start running on all fours. She could only stare at the site for it was something she had not seen the Kryx do before. It was definitely a site to see.

Composing herself Rosalyn darted for the ship as she heard the hanger doors open. Once on she began to relax a bit for the fact that she still couldn't see or hear anyone following them. Rosalyn felt a little awkward just standing there but there was nothing should could do at the moment but hope that they would be up in the air soon. She did not particularly enjoy being in a city that was falling apart.

Cael watched from his seat in the cockpit as the group began to move across the hangar while Glo'cer opened the hangar doors. He looked up, and to his relief the doors above began to slip open slowly. He grinned to himself for a moment, but the grin was quickly replaced by a questionable eyebrow raise. As soon as the doors began to open, rain began falling down from outside that grew wider and wider as the doors opened.

Cael's first thought, surprisingly, sent him looking for Glo'cer back outside. The Solidus wouldn't be able to get close to the ship without getting severely burned by the downpour that was coming from above. Cael was going to have to do some tricky hoovering. Though before he could get settled back in, Artemis hit his com and yelled for the others to get moving. He couldn't help but crack a grin at the girls tenacity to use his own arm, and as he settled into his captains chair he noted her concern about covering the others.
"Artemis, head for the loading lift. The big one on the starboard side. The lift controls are simple, top button to go up, bottom to go down. Help get the others in the ship, specially the Slime. He's not gonna like this water coming down."

Cael did not wait for a response. The engine lights were green, and the rain was only getting wider and.....heavier. The pounding of water on the hull of the ship was growing louder, and the water was splashing everywhere. Cael kicked the ship into gear and the engines roared to life. He immediately put the ship in hoover, retracting the landing gear. Once he saw that the loading door was open on his console, he would immediately begin to spin the ship around while it hovered so that the group could climb inside. When it came Glo'cers turn to climb in, Cael tilted the ship ever so slightly and lowered it dangerously close to the ground so the water would run off the ship in the other direction.

As he tilted the ship, he noticed a the doors to the hangar he and Artemis had entered in opened wide. A mob of Koiple guards, followed by a a very distraught looking H'ma, began screeching at the ship. H'ma pointed at the ship with force as she screeched, and the guards all pointed their blasters at the ship and began to open fire on the ship. Cursing through his beard, Cael adjusted the shields so they would cover the barrage of fire as he opened the com-links again.
"I don't know what ya'll did down there, but they're more pissed off than male Uaccam in mating season. First one on the ship get to the gunners seat under the ship and try and thin out that group!"

As his work came to an end, he sighed heavily. After the crazy day they had, he would finally get away from all this deadly water. As he poked his head up from the control panel he heard a strange noise. A constant thumping against metal. His eyes widened in horror as he saw the rain pouring down hard. So much so he couldn't really make out objects in the distance. The ship simply was being pelted by a wall of dark downpour and he was not inside it. He managed to reach the side of the control panel before his legs froze. There was so much that he could see it slowly splashing into the opening of the hanger. A little drizzle would be fine, but this would probably feel like blaster shots to him. He really just wanted to bolt for the lift but his body urged him to remain still. Like.. ripping off a bandage... so the Dorogans say. He managed to pry out of his voice.

As the ship dipped to the side a little, he noticed the water sloshing off to the side. He was taken back by the gesture that Cael presented him and would have to thank him properly. As he took a few steps forward, he saw the guards and H'ma entering the area now. Without hesitation, he ducked behind the control panel again to stay out of sight. The shields would be fine for now, but constant barrages would break it sooner rather than later. With a few deep breaths, he tried to clear his mind.

Alright, no matter what I am getting hurt. Walk on the terrible liquid and get to safety or walk on the terrible liquid and get shot at as well.. With him coming to terms with the inevitable, he searched for some shield like object. Luckily, there were the metal panels on the control system. With a quick shot from his blaster, he shot a panel off for himself. Okay, I'm running to you now! He took the panel and hung it over his head to make a makeshift Umbrella as he did his best to overcome the fear that was built inside of him.
It wasn't too long before he reached the small sheet of water that pooled near the entrance. The first foot fell on the puddle but quickly passed over it, nothing too bad. The second, and third, and every other step was agony however. He could feel the sting get harsher and harsher with each foot fall and he dared not see what his legs looked like. He would have to keep off of them for at least a day. After what felt like minutes, he made it on the loading lift with a grand leap. The only thing behind him was the tendrils of steam coming from his body. As he clutched his legs, he cried out.
I'm on! I'm on! Hoping he would be inside, safe and sound, soon.

As soon as Cael had given her instructions, Artemis was on her way jogging towards the loading doors as the ship lurched and rumbled to life with the power of the energy crystals. After a few tries and recalling his tips, she got the buttons for operating the loading ramp all figured out and was able to put them down for each member respectively to get on the ship.

"Don't mind the Koiples in the rought flight seating area. And avoid the lounge for now..." was all cyborg said as they passed her before moving on to the last member in their team. The sudden dip of the ship to one side sent her stumbling forward slightly, but Artemis found her footing and looked out through the pouring rain in search of Glocer.

And there he was, in all is slimey and percentage-crazy glory, hurtling and running towards the ship with a trail of steam behind him and a makeshift umbrella over his head. The cyborg was already leaning out slightly with her hand reached towards the slimeball should he need help but with one grand leap, he made it onto the loading ramp just fine. As bad of a shape he seemed to be in, he could've been worse and it was a relief just to get him safe back on the ship.

Slamming the button, Artemis went to check on Glocer as the loading ramp lifted, sealing them off from the thundering storm outside. "Cael, Glocer is on board," the cyborg spoke through her commlink to the Dorogan as she knelt beside the Solidus who was clutching his legs tightly.

"Are you alive, C?" Artemis asked and though she sounded light hearted and teasing, her tone carried something like a hint of concern. It was just her way of asking if he was okay.
