Welcome Prospective New Student,

You have found yourself in the land of... Well, we aren't quite sure what to call this place as of yet. Just know this place is where dreams come true and nothing is impossible. The world is our ocean, and we are but adventurers! Wait, that's not right. The world is our Ocean, and we are but fish? No, no, no. That's not right. Well, no matter.

Back to business! In order to be accepted to our prestigious University, all one must do is fill out our tiny, little application form. If you will, look to left of this letter and you shall see our application form. There are clipboards and pens at the ready.

Err... wait a minute. That's not it. Where did I put that pesky thing? Is it... No, that's not it. How about... No, not there either. Well, where in heavens did I place it?

Quiet, constantly reading and/or studying. She is normally found outside underneath a tree when she's reading, and when she's not reading, she enjoys taking naps on the grass. She also listens to music often and can be found in the library during free time. When someone speaks to her, she's kind and friendly, rather than cold. She loves people, and will always offer a helping hand. When she's doing none of these things, she's probably going on a run.

Nala is a very kind person, and is willing to make new friends whenever she gets the chance. However, she is often seen with books and becomes so absorbed in them that she forgets about her surroundings. She loves literature and especially Shakespeare. She's always wanted to partake in musicals or plays, but she's never had the guts to go through with them. Instead, she is determined to become a teacher in the arts of drama, so that she can help others rise to stardom, even if she never could.

Nala was raised by her mother and her mother's close friends, parents to Simba. She was raised with him, the two of them being close best friends. She was devastated when she heard about his dad passing away, which Simba took pretty hard. He fell into a deep depression, but she helped him through it, and they fell in love. Once they reached their late teenage years, they began dating and haven't stopped.

Jim can either be seen with a rather brooding expression (usually while working on his mechanical masterpieces) or with an easy smile. Tall but not one to 'look down his nose' at others. He's built for strength and mobility which allows him the best chance to do well in engineering, and though he's not the most flexible of guys, you'd be surprised the kind of positions he can end up in while working on his projects. Usually pretty open and approachable, with a friendly vibe, though at times he can be caught with a hot temper and when that's the case it is best to steer clear or he might blow up a you like some super nova star.

Jim is a pretty easy going guy as long as you don't insult anything important to him. He tends to get a bit quiet when anyone asks about his family, though when he does start talking about his mom there is a level of respect in his voice. Jim is always seeking out the fun and adventure in the world though in his pursuit he tends to get himself into trouble, as well. Definitely someone who will have your back. Once you've earned his loyalty, of course.

Yzma is small, her sharp bones jutting through her aged skin. Despite being at quite a young age of 38, she has the appearance of a much (much) older woman. Despite oddly smelling of cats, she dresses overly well, wearing rich clothes, and holding her hair up in a delicate purple cloth, decorated with a brooch she aqquired from her large amount of inheritance money.

Yzma is a strong and assertive teacher, but rather eccentric, she will overreact to most things and can end up moving her teaching curriculum to so the furthest thing from that. She is a natural leader but however she isn't a nice person, conflicting with her talents as they prove to show how selfish she is. Despite her harsh personality, she has one soft spot. Cats. Her home is filled with 13 of her hairy pets, giving Yzma an odd 'cat lady' smell.

Yzma worked hard to get to where she is, serving hand on foot to people higher than her so she could eventually make her way to headteacher, never being able to reach there she settled with a simple teaching job, still craving any kind of power, and taking it where she can get it.

Bambi is always looking out for a new place to explore, finding solace in abandoned buildings, often returning to paint murals.

Bambi is an orphan, he never new his father, and his mother disappeared. With no family to speak of he was sent to an orphanage, where he grew up, making some of the best friends of his life there, although lost in the system, Bambi worked hard, saving up money so he could go to university.

Bambi earned his nickname through his mother, before she disappeared she used to call it to him when she was tucking him in at night, when she disappeared he couldn't hear the name without making him feel bad emotions, until he began to think of the happy memories regarding the nickname, making it a reminder of his mothers love, he introduces himself as Bambi, letting very few people know his birth name.

This spreads to her choices of clothing which is casually stylish in an effortless 'just rolled out of bed' way. She likes to wear off-the shoulder tops with jeans and converse usually.

Those that know her see she is a kind soul with a heart as big as a grand chateau.

Belle was born in rural France in a small town aptly named Le Petit Ville. Her mother died shortly after Belle was born and her father never remarried. Belle and her father Maurice were the indisputable 'outcasts' of the town. Neither were content with village life and wanted to explore, Belle especially. None of the townsfolk understood her adventurous nature and her veracious reading habits, but because she was beautiful, they treated her okay.

Unfortunately her beauty often brought unwanted attention with it and many a potential suitor she turned down. When she heard about DU, she jumped at the opportunity to make her papa proud. She hopes to make friends that appreciate her for who she is and not for her good genes over which she has no control.

Written Appearance

Jafar is tall and thin, lithe like a serpent and every bit as dangerous as one. But what people see is a tall, gangly man with a calm and serene demeanor, often putting on a trustworthy vice with intelligence and knowledge that he pretends to use to help those around him. He has a rather easy smile that splits his whole face, though it doesn't appear in public all that often because it's often been called 'twisted' and even if Jafar is, he doesn't want anyone else to know that. Though tall, he has a way of not looking down his nose at you- at least, not until you know him (like truly know him, as Iago does). His piercing eyes tend to take in every detail of a person before actually meeting their eyes, but it's done so quickly it's rare for people to actually notice.

Jafar is as slick and sneaky as they come, often getting those around him to genuinely trust and believe in him, though he used people for his own devices. His intelligence allows him to help and win over people rather quickly, and his charm tends to make sure those people keep coming back. Unfortunately, he does tend to snub those he sees as far, faaaar beneath him, and doesn't always notice the importance of the smaller people. All this being said, Jafar actually is a good listener and gives great advice when it comes right down to it. Just don't tick the guy off or get in his way and you'll be just fine.
Background

You've heard of the golden rule, haven't you? Whoever has the gold makes the rules.
Jafar

Jafar came from an impoverished family, watching his mother slave away day after day to care for them both and a father who Jafar doesn't even know. His mother passing away was the only real grief the man has ever felt in his life and her passing also started his motivation to reach a life better then the one she had lived. He wanted power and gold, luxury beyond any man's dreams and he saw no reason why he shouldn't have it. Especially since the system was so corrupt. Jafar truly believed he could do better, make the world a more evenly balanced place. Not fair per se, but certainly less chaotic.

He became interested in Mathematics first when he excelled in them in school, often coming home to make his own math puzzles and work with the math that lay within sorcery. Because math lies in every aspect of life, and after learning about it the man could see it everywhere. Math helped him through the harder times in the foster home he lived in, and sorcery helped him block out the outside world. All he had were his ambitions to reach the top of the heap.

Jafar graduated top of his class and went on to college on a full scholarship. The lad was bright, No one could argue that. Coming out of college he moved around to a few different schools, never finding one that paid quite enough until Disney University offered him a job. He has it in his sights to run the school before he reaches the age of fifty- and also to figure out how to become immortal. One goal seems a little more obtainable then the other, you'd think. but they're both just as possible for Jafar.
Other

His pet parrot, Iago, is either on his shoulder while he moves about the campus or on a perch in his classroom. He is never far from Jafar unless he is on a mission for the man. And to the outside world, he truly seems to be nothing more than a dumb parrot. Also, Iago really hates crackers.

Written Appearance

Rapunzel is 17 years old and is slightly shorter than most, but is considered a rare beauty. She has fair skin with a light tint of blush to it and is mostly known for her golden blonde hair which in length is around 70 feet. The hair is noticeably shiny, like satin. Rapunzel also has light freckles, mostly around her nose, as well as large, bright green eyes, and a playful smile. Rapunzel doesn't like to wear shoes, therefore preferring to go barefoot but in completely necessary situations she does. Sometimes, she wears her hair in a thick braid with smaller braids woven in, decorated with flowers.
