Heya friends and fellow gamers! Here's a blanket Sherwood update for you!

Sherwood will be in the hospital for about another 6-10 days, and he wants to assure you that - OH YES! - Sherwood WILL be back! Mark your calendars, people! The laser-chasing kitty knight we all know and love WILL be making his return!

Honor and fun,
Purr =)

Glad to hear it - all the best, Sherwood Sherwood , was thrilled to see your name around again just now!

Update time! Per Sherwood...

Well, here is another update on the Eternal Hospital Stay for poor Sherwood. I am feeling much better today, but the downside is that I have multiple leaks in my right side lung, keeping my chest tube in. If the docs pull it out now, the leaks would just have my lung collapse again and they would have to replace the chest tube. If there is not any progress, the next step is a much more invasive operation to open up my side and do a surgical repair of these leaks, leaving the chest tube in until I heal from the worst of the operation and can then start to look for a discharge date of about 5-7 days from then. I am sooooo done with this, having spent the past three weeks in the hospital.

Right? At least he's in good hands and he wasn't sent home too early. That would have been worse. Still, I'm glad Sherwood has online RPing - you can take that almost anywhere! 8D

Well, a bit of good news. I should be able to go home in about two to three days. It all depends on my chest tube when it comes out. If my lung starts to collapse, I get to leave with a take home tube to keep me breathing. If It stays inflated, I'm out of here in probably 2 days. I am so happy. I've been in the hospital for over 3 weeks so far, and this is going to be such a great change.

Sherwood Sherwood Woo! Watch out world!

Just take it easy on those lungs, won't you, Bud? I don't imagine you want to go back to the hospital so soon after leaving.

Sherwood Sherwood With any luck, my favorite Bud has been home since yesterday. Here's hoping!

I'm just... off... not knowing though. I think I've been a little off since he went in. But that's the price to pay when you care about someone, right? I'll pay it! =)

In the meantime, here's hoping each of you are taking good physical care of yourselves. Visiting a hospital because you want to is one thing, but because you need to? Well. That's another story, isn't it? =)

I'll probably be able to put my mind back on posting once I know Sherwood's all right. Happy Friday, Gang!

Honor and fun,
Purr =)

Hey gang. I'm still in the hospital, but should be going home on Monday. I was very depressed for a while when I wasn't able to go home on Thursday as I was expecting, but the doctors felt that it was safer to be cautious on my release instead of just letting me go with the very real possibility that I would have a collapsed lung and have to come right back to the ER. I thank everyone for your well-wishes, and I'm trying to get back on the posting ball here now that I'm in a better head space.

Unfortunate to not come home earlier, but better safe than sorry - the worst case is definitely worse than a few more days in good care. Still, I hope you get the best of both worlds ASAP - safety and home.
