Multiple Settings looking for casual, summer-vibes!

intro

hi everyone. going to make this short and sweet. i'm looking for some casual roleplays with summer vibes (yes, even though it's winter). i've been reading some of my old favourite mangas like mars, kamisama kiss, lovely complex, etc, and have been wanting to start something up with a similar vibe. so without further a do... let's get into the details. c:

about me

• i am in my early 20s.
• my pronouns are she/they.
• i don't really have a set schedule - i'm in school full-time right now and sometimes there may be gaps in my reply time (which i will let my partners know about). i usually try to reply at least once a week, but it may take longer if something comes up. if you're someone who needs replies to be consistent and very frequent, i might not be the best partner for you.
• my reply length can depend on my schedule/inspiration, but i usually post at least two paragraphs. as for the maximum... i'm looking for something a little more casual right now, so i probably won't write walls upon walls of text unless my inspiration is really flowing.
• i write in third person, past tense.
• i usually write men, but i don't really have a preference, so i'm open to playing any gender.
• i'm open to all pairings (m/f, f/f, m/m, etc). if we're doing m/f i tend to prefer the male role. it's random, but it's just my preference!
• i prefer to use art for face claims, using real people is a bit weird for me.
• i only roleplay on-site, in private messages. ooc talk can take place in pms or on discord.
• i only have one trigger; large age gaps.
• additionally, i thought it important to note that some of my queer characters have struggles surrounding internalized homophobia/coming out. it's something i've personally experienced and like to roleplay, but i can understand it's triggering for some people. if that is the case, let me know and i'll totally avoid it.
• please note that i only have time to start one or two new roleplays, so i might have to pass on some people. it's nothing personal, sorry!

what i look for in a partner

• be 18+.
• no-one liners please. i generally don't mind how much/little you write, but one-liners are difficult for me to respond to.
• contribute to the plotting of the roleplay.
• as stated before, let me know of any triggers you have. a lot of my ocs have dark backgrounds, but if if there's anything specific that bothers you, let me know and i will omit it.
• when you send me a pm tell me about yourself! i like to get to know potential partners a little before starting a roleplay together.
• this is not necessarily a requirement, but a writing sample would be appreciated just so that i can get an idea of your style. i can provide one too, but again, not needed!!
