k decided. I'mma do the Hellfire girlie.

She's a skater/surfer chick that used to do pro circuits but suffered a reeeeeeally bad knee break and so she had to retire at age 22. She's still a bit of a celebrity in certain circles since she is a semi-successful YTer/TikTokker. Extrovert, talks allooooot, and always tryna spin positive vibes. But she goes and hangs out with her friends when she feels like just sinking into a calm, safe space away from the spotlight and 'neutralizing criminals with extreme prejudice' lol. When she's with them, she just there to enjoy her time with the people she gives and gets the most love. Cuz its real.

But!! She's infested with a demon that just wants to ignite everything on fire. They have a pretty good relationship now. She gets to surf on fire and it gets to sometimes nuke bad guys into nothing but ashes. But her biggest infamy and problem is that sometimes when she is in her fiery 'hero' form and surfing around, things start to catch on fire.

I'm thinking a healer for my character. but wait. a healer? i thought you said you were gonna play an anti-villain. that usually implies some kind of murder, right? how can someone whose powers are control over the cell cycle and cell regeneration be a mad murderer? the answer, my friends, is simple. I'm in a genetics class. Therefore, I am now The Expert in cell biology. so... murder. by making the heartless tyrants have their cardiomyocytes commit mass apoptosis.

could i play someone who's been around since before the mass killing of those with powers, someone who survived only because of being able to keep their own cells alive. someone who has, after living through a eugenical genocide, responded to violence with violence, and is on a suicidal quest to bring down the system that destroyed so many people they knew, and loved, for the crime of a few misplaced base pairs?

i've no doubt they're playing it safe by day, a mild-mannered oncologist in a children's hospital by day, a mad assassin who will make it look like a heart attack but make it hurt like hell by night.

are they justified? they think so. but they flaunt the laws, not to mention other unlikeable charictar traits i have planned.
