"Rogue! Sting!" I screamed, seeing them both collapse. I skidded down a hill of rubble and stumbled through the ruins of the fortress of Tartaros, falling to my knees in front of the boys.
Sting lifted his head and cracked open his eyes, laboring to do so. "Hey...Riri..." he grunted, trying to push himself into a sitting position.
"No, Sting! Stay down!" I bit my lip and added, "We need to get you help."
Behind me, I heard Rogue stir. "Akari...you came..." He coughed, and I turned toward him, urging him to lie still as I had with Sting. He looked up at me through his long bangs, and our gazes locked, crimson against cerulean. I fought the urge to hug him, relieved he was (mostly) okay.
Shifting so I could look at both boys, I said, "Unless I use magic, I don't think I can get you two anywhere."
"Best not move us right now, anyway," Sting pointed out, coughing. He crawled over to where Rogue and I were, and grabbed my hand in his. "Besides, we're fine as long as you stay with us."
Rogue smiled weakly in agreement, taking my other hand. With a sniff, I muttered, "You idiots." Before I could stop myself, tears started to stream down my face as I cried in pure relief. For the past few hours, I had been so worried about them, that maybe Mard Geer or Jiemma had defeated them. Though I knew they were strong, I was still scared beyond reason. They were my best friends, and I loved them.
Both boys lifted their hands to wipe my tears, and I couldn't help but laugh at their simultaneous action. Bending down, I wrapped my arms around them in an awkward hug. "I love you guys," I sniffled, burying my face in Rogue's shoulder.
With a smile clearly in his voice, Sting replied, "We love you too, Riri."
*suddenly craves a My Candy Love roleplay*
