Sorry for the absence guys I've been really busy with some stuff in real life, and a combination of stress and sickness has made it difficult to find the motivation to catch up with my posts. I'm currently working on that now, and again I'm sorry for not doing this sooner.

I got two new snakes yesterday! A female Mojave ballpython and a male Mojave Spider Pinstripe Pastel; both are so beautiful. I'm hoping for some baby snakes in the future
So, so tired. It's winter where I live—which means it gets dark at around 4:30—and the lack of sunlight and light in general is really taxing my internal clock, making me feel like it's the middle of the night way before it is.
So I went to the dentist today, and she told me something really weird (at least to me anyways). Apparently some dentist has filed a couple of my teeth without asking or notifying me. I didn't notice until now but it makes me wonder if there's any other things I don't know about O.o
There's something satisfying about writing with a lizard on your shoulder: the weight is comforting, and unlike certain —*cats, cough, cough*—pets he doesn't feel the need to dig in his claws into your skin or fight the keyboard for a place on your lap. Terrifying however, is the equal knowledge that for as wonderful a perch you may be, he is still a lizard, and as such has no reservations about pooping on you whatsoever.

I'm going mad with loneliness, and all the while the people in the windows move and go about their lives before me. I want to reach out, to touch them and find out what warmth feels like. I want to scream and see if they hear me. I want to know that these people exist and I am not alone after all. Not quite. But I'm too afraid to find out the truth, so each day I tell myself I'll do it tomorrow. -
