• I'm thinking of creating a group roleplay revolving around spies in South Korea. Perhaps somewhere else, but still, I love spies and desperately crave to write a roleplay as such.
Badass female leads are the reason I live. Please more kick ass females!

This pretty much sums up how I feel everytime I see a well-written and complex female character.

I think such female characters are needed. I remember the first time discovering a female character as such when I was younger and fell in love. I loved how they didn't give a shit, were independent and intelligent. I want little girls, teenagers and women to see such powerful women in books, tv, movies, anywhere in the media.

Exactly. I noticed a lot when I was little that women were tended to be put into these roles to help the man. I was always irritated with things like that, because I may have been small, but I could do things for myself without the assistance of a man. I took one look at my mom and she did not need a man to do anything, so it was a bit of a disconnect with certain shows when it came down to it. The first time I watched strong independent females who were main characters, I think it was on the show Charmed. I was pretty amazed by it and it became my favorite thing to watch. They were strong indpendent women who were intelligent, but also had flaws and quirks that made me relate to them.

I am actually in film school, because I hate that there is a lack of representation on tv. Often times, females are cast aside as support for the male roles, which would not be so much of a problem if the writers did not always tend to pass them up and not give them some depth.
how does one even make friends on here? fuck im awkward. :')

it's sometimes hard to be confident for me as well, but when you find a hobby you like and do it a lot, you'll start to notice your strengths a lot more

ooh, i need to watch more of those ;v; i mostly only know filipino dramas because they're popular with my relatives
a friend of mine said the show "Seonam Girls High School Investigators" is really good but i haven't gotten to seen it yet

hopefully, i will be able to achieve more confidence by not giving a fuck aha. that is my aim.

i live in Australia, so any dramas outside of being American or British are not popular or well known at all here. you should definitely check out 'Gap Dong.' and 'Little Girl K'. I am currently watching 'Iris'.
I'm so sorry to those I owe a signature or reply to, I am so busy due to the time of the year. I will try my hardest to see what I can do. Please do not think I am ignoring you. Have a good day/night. xx
