Hi!! Okay so, I just roleplayed once, a looong time ago when I was younger. I currently use character ai. to rp but it's obviously not the same. I just found this site and I have NO idea of how to use it.

Alright, about my experience, so, for example: I open a character ai. bot and rp as another character, idk, having a nightmare and create a hurt/comfort rp situation with the bot. But as you may know, the bots can be blunt and forget things we just did, and I really enjoyed rping with that one person I did some years ago, so I wanted to try it out here.

I usually do "simple" situations involving hurt/comfort, fluff, sick character or just straight up angst, it depends. I enjoy lots of anime, Percy Jackson, indie games (like Omori, fnaf, etc), and some cartoons (like Gravity Falls, The Owl House, Hilda, Moomin, etc). Didn't quite get how the interest checks work here, but I prefer 1x1 interaction.

I'm Nora, and I've been roleplaying in various forms for like, over a decade (started at 12, and I'm 24 now). I have finally escaped the pull of Tumblr Rpc, which has done wonders for my mental health, but I do deeply miss this hobby and haven't found a community that really scratches that itch the same way so far.

I tend to write specific characters, but I LOVE crossovers so I won't ever stick in the same fandoms. In terms of canon characters, I have been known for my portrayals of Veronica Sawyer (Heathers; movie, not musical), Evan EMH (EverymanHybrid), Lydia Deetz (Beetlejuice; musical, not movie this time), and Elliot Alderson (Mr. Robot). I do have a longer list of muses that I'll happily share!

However, one of my most precious characters is my original character Beck Rider, whom I've been writing for the last five years now, and her creation has been my pride and joy. I do write several other ocs, but Beck is the one I will default to. She is my baby. I love her. Little freak creature girl. I kiss her forehead.

I typically like to find a relationship or dynamic between two characters, and then build a plot around that- or many plots! I like having a small multiverse of aus for a single ship. I have adhd. I have no idea if those two things are connected but I would not be surprised in the slightest if they are.

I have written so, so much and I still want to ramble more so I'm going to cut myself off here, lol

Username is Spiker648, but you can use my pen name and just call me Kyle. I used to rp all the time back in 2013-2015, but sadly my rp website at the time slowly went dark and i was left with nobody to rp with. Then life got in the way, blah blah blah etc etc. I'm here now because i've been having some trouble lately and i miss the good old days of rp. I just did a google search for "rp websites" and ended up here, so at the moment i'm just hoping this website is still active!
A bit about my rping habits. I only do 1x1 rp, because i get lost in group rp's far too easily. I personally do descriptive style, and would prefer a partner who does the same. I mostly rp fandoms, such as SAO, Pokemon, Digimon, Percy Jackson, etc. but i'm open to doing some original world stuff as well. When i fandom roleplay i prefer to leave canon characters out of it and fill the world with exclusively OC characters made by me and my partner. I also enjoy having romantic subplots in my rps if the two leads have enough chemistry. I realize all of this puts me in a very niche circle of rp-ers, but i'm hoping i can find someone who shares that style. I work full time, but I'm hoping i'll have time for at least 1 or 2 replies per day.
Outside if roleplays im a graphic designer and aspiring author. I've got 4 completed books under my belt, but nothing formally published yet. 3 of those 4 are going through rewrites with the hopes of being published one day, but for now i only post to wattpad.
Hoping to make some friends and have some fun rping again.

My name is Canon, and I've been roleplaying roughly six years. I'm only 18, and currently working on my first novel and finishing highschool. I got accepted into a four year university meaning I have limited time but will try to post 1-2 times a day, if possible. Aside from that, I do romance, horror, fantasy, and occasional combat roleplaying. In a multitude of fandoms, I tend not to use canon characters. Some of those fandoms include, PJO, HP, Good Omens, etc. I do 1x1's and groups.

Hopefully, I can get back into some rp's and make some friends :]

Hey there I am new to this whole like forum rp thing but I have been an avid writer for a long time and have also played a lot of ttrpgs so I thought this might be a fun thing to try out!

I like a wide range of settings and am open to try just about anything out!
I like super heroes, Sci Fi, modern realistic stuff, apocalypse and of course fantasy.

I am cool to try playing most things and am totally up for romance but not required friendships are cool too

Hi so I'm buckwheat and after taking a break of many years from amino, I decided to come back to Role-playing, but on some other place and I found this site! I've been Role-playing since I was 12 so for 8 years, but of course still make mistakes since English isn't my first language. Role-playing did however help me improve my language skills a lot! Uhhh my interests are everything. I've made up my own stories and been part of Fandoms as well, but I guess fantasy is my go to genre. For hobbies I got gardening, minecraft if that counts, and learning Baltic history. I actually like to implement a bit of that culture into my stories and characters! Anyways, can't wait to meet some cool people who like Role-playing!!!

Hello all! I'm Station! Really quick: it/its (or he/him if necessary), twenty-something, UK timezone

I have no idea yet what the usual approach to profile pictures is around here so this Marvel-reference-plus-ace-flag is fairly temporary, just something I had in my images folder already. (Although if it succeeds in summoning any fellow Bucky fans out of the woodwork I will consider it a huge accidental success!)

I've never RPed online, although I have thought about getting into it for many years. It seemed intimidating or I had no ideas or I just thought I was too busy. I have several years of experience with TTRPG (mostly D&D) both as a player and a GM, so I'm fairly confident I'll do alright here. I'm looking forward to trying out different styles and characters, finding out where my preferences are!

My biggest hope is that I'll make some friends through RP, but my primary goal is just to RP and have fun doing it. I picked RPNation specifically simply because it has the least obnoxious web design out of all the top search engine results. Hopefully there is no secret obnoxiousness hidden beneath the surface!

Not a lot else to say... hmm, one of the prompts is "hobbies and interests" but honestly I have too many to meaningfully list. The big undying one is always Steve/Bucky, but that's more of a habit I can't shake than a hobby tbh.

Just the usual smol writer that likes to write fantasy in his free time, while I did some roleplay in a fantasy related theme with a tiny group of friends, I'm interested to see how things go.
