I used to RP every day for hours at a time when i was younger, i did this for maybe 5/7 years in jr high and highschool. Then me and my friend group ran out of ideas and stopped.
I got the erge to RP again a few months ago, (it's been like 5 years) and tried to join a few on discord but they were over run with kids and NSFW content that the children were aloud to participate in.

So i decided to make my own. I haven't had any luck getting anyone to join other than my friends so im both looking for short RPs to do in the mean time And people who might wanna join. I'll make a full post on it later in the correct channel.

i love sandbox video games, making art of any kind, youtube comentary or like learning videos are my jam, and writing (currently writing a Harry Potter fanfic)

I am a English tutor (SPT) so i usually work for a few hours after kids get out of school.

I have a 2 year old puppy, Raven shes the cutest thing ever, and currently being trained to use buttons. She started training for them days go so we have a long way to go lol
And my sister (whom i live with) has a 3 maybe 4 month old kitten named Diego

I used to roleplay everyday for hours at a time when I was younger. I did this for maybe 5/7 years back when I was in school. I haven't RPed in maybe 5 years? I got the urge to rp a few months ago so here I am.

I actually joined rp servers on discord but they were overrun with children and NSFW channels that the CHILDREN were allowed in. That's just incredibly inappropriate so I left those and made my own. No one is joining other than my friends and tbh I'm here looking for people who wanna join but also for short rps to do while I wait for the community to grow a bit.

I am an English tutor. I love making art, and writing. I am currently writing a Harry Potter Fanfiction atm. I love any game with a sandbox mode. I watch commentary and learning videos on YouTube or like fandom videos about my favorite shows/books. My favorite books/movies: HP, LOTR, ATLAB, and MLB.

I have been writing for almost 20 years now (yikes) and I've been all over. I started on gaia, AIM, insanejournal, livejournal, etc, then tumblr and eventually discord. Hello, こんにちは, Hola, Bonjour and any other form of greetings on this platform. I go by many names, many personas but you shall call me Hypnosic(or Lord Hypnosic whichever you prefer, ahem, I have no favorite, ahem). I've been on multiple Roleplay sites sense I first discovered the wonderful world that is the internet, migrating depending on my preference change-fandoms I've joined and friends I've made, I've been on this before. I think my old account name was Willow-oh-Whisp, or IdiotPotatoe I'm not sure, but I wasn't very active. Was apart of three roleplay that ended within two weeks, the third sort of fizzled out and we lost interest.

I've been roleplaying since I was 11-12 esh and even before then I did what one might say "single person" roleplay, where I created character and took turns pretending to be them while playing with my dolls. I even wrote down each "roleplay" session into a book I called "The chronicle of Historia" because even then I wanted to be fancy. I still have that book, to this day, and I've recreated many of my old characters into characters I use to this day. I love them, but Merlin's beard was I a sadistic little fu-princess back then. Palter deserved non of that suffering he went through. I've been in multiple roleplay, RPGS and participate in creating roleplay plots for others. The longer I roleplay, the more I find I'm starting to grow picky with the roleplay I join. I don't want to be, I try not to be, but i find I quickly loose motivation if I'm not excited by the idea. Sometimes I force myself and then I actually like it, and sometimes I end up suffering regretting the moment-the minutes, the second the hour I even decided to participate in said roleplay. Other times, it Purley depends on the partner I have, not everyone can match each other styles despite how wonderful they are as a person.

I've roleplayed in literally everything I could get my hands on(before I started having preference and taste, gross). This both was great and absolutely awful, great because I figured out that I had a bottom line, horrible because I realized how low that bottom line was and how much shi-interesting things people can come up with within their mess-creativ minds of theirs. I have wonderful stories from these experiences, and I also learned how to back out of a situation without feeling soul crushing guilt like I use to do, I also realized I'm an absolute who-sucker for romcom-victoriean esq found family genre. I salivate for those, a bit extreme but I will never get tired ever of roleplaying something along the lines of those.

Speaking of roleplays I'm absolutely down for, will die for, and will do anything for-i have MANY but these are my top five genres and settings.

Victorian esq- I cannot stress enough on how I go absolutely ferial for these. There is something about back in the day of hoop skirts, dapper gentleman and political schemes that have me running to my computer with thousands of ideas just pounding against my skull to get out. It doesn't even have to be set in the Victorian era, any period ranging from 1980s and back gets me excited. Something about the rules of those eras, the limitations and the world building prospects! You could do so much, SO MUCH. Ahem.
Settings- London-murder mystery, grimly streets flickering lamps. Back alleyways bars, crime Lords Jesus help me. Fantasy, Royal Court-lost kingdoms, fallen nobility, schemes against the backdrop of a revolution. Slice of life, bell hops(I LOVE BELL HOPS,chancy my baby needs to be brought out again) Hotels, so on and so forth.

Fantasy-Who hasn't dreamt of being a Unicorn when they were a child? Or at least a long lost princess, a knight(had the costume and everything), being able to bend water to your will. Riding a dragon, falling asleep and being kissed awake by your one true love. It can be cliche, it can be completely different. We can have curses that have an entire kingdom-race being forgotten, a little slice of life adventure exploring, world domination, romance anything goes. I lean more heavily toward world building in this one because it's SO. MUCH. FUN. but I can go light hearted, sometimes, maybe, yeah.
Settings-a world that bans magic from being used, the complete opposite, modern day where fantasy is mixed in, bringing back the magic. A magical walking teahouse traveling the world, cursed knight looking for redemption (Andreas I'm looking at you my boy), a beautiful nymp/fox/mermaid looking for humanity, God's giving mortals a chance for redemption or a God gaining redemption (hello hello Helios!) A cosmic being with forgotten memories living as a human(Aerarity my love) , SO MUCH POSSIBILITY.

LGBTQ-Palter, Palter, Palter, did I say Palter? Being a proud and loud and-very obnoxious member of the LGBTQ community I often jump with joy whenever I participate in a roleplay that involve the queer community in any way. I'm sure we a know romance is like a huge part of roleplay, sometimes it isn't but it is, and we've all(maybe not all) have been where it mostly Hetro-centerd. Nothing wrong with that, we all have out preference for ships. I just love it when a little bit of gayness, or other sexuality (come on my ace babies do not get enough attention along with HEALTHY poly relationships. The rainbow spectrum is so wide, so much potential) I especially like coming of age roleplay in this, realisation, exception or just struggles in general. Once again I say Palter, who in his right is fu-lovely granny boy questioning his existence. Ahem, yes.
Setting-old school back in the day high school, fight club except Christian School but book club I should, case worker working with a single dad and the form a platonic mirage together, literally running an orphanage for magical kids who don't get adopted. Criminals in love(Matteo Huckleberry), soulmate AUs(YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!)

Horror/Supernatural-I am an absolute who-sucker(ahem) for this. Vampires? Werewolfs? Witch? Covens? Dark academia? Vampire that has fallen asleep for over a century (or more) wakes up to find that the world that they know it is completely changed and they understood absolutely nothing that's going on around them. A werewolf who's so oblivious thinks that they're just Bigfoot but slightly smaller, a ghost who refuses to believe that they are actually dead and thinks everyone is just playing one gigantic prank or more serious dark grim stuff.
Setting-old town where mysteries disappearing are happening, big bustling city that never sleeps, old western esk town-haunted mansion, sma villages, church, graveyard an apartment building exct.Sleepy hallow town that's constantly raining, a 1970 town near the beach.

Romcom-Slice of Life-Meet-cutes, Coffee dates, wholsomeness Oh my! GIVE ME ROMANCE OR GIVE ME DEATH! No but seriously, give me the cutest, teath numbing sugar wholsomeness that rots your Brian and makes you come up with thousands of random head cannons, playlist for your character. Like that's the bare minimum, the barest. Wholsomeness, slow burn, will they won't they-organic or believable chemistry and friendship. Neighbors sense childhood, rivals sense med school, I can literally go on and on and ON about this.
Setting-retro something in the past, literally anything goes for this I'm telling you. I DON'T CARE.


Anything that catches my eye, I obsess over, the more I obsess over the more motivated I get and more ideas come to me and more I write. After the core, I'm a mirror writer. I mirror my partner length and the amount of details the put inside there own responses, but lack of motivation can make my writing stagnant and honestly the worst and it makes me feel crappy that I'm producing something like that. I'm not a protectionest, I just like to give my best and I give my best when I'm invested in what I'm roleplaying. I range from novella to three paragraphs, I can't do one liners unless I'm like very bored and just need stimulation.

Returning to RPnation would hopefully fill the void that is within my life from the lack of role plays, school been kicking my as-behind and I swear I should have never chosen medical school but hay live laugh love regret I guess. I'm slowly dying, send caffeine, please.

Besides roleplaying, I write sometimes if that wasn't already obvious. I like to think I'm som sort of artists, maybe, idk I paint sometimes and draw comics when I'm really feeling like it. I do art for my role plays a lot......reading is a thing as well. Now that I'm thinking about it I really don't have that many hobbies, wow. What I do have though are doggies!! My two German Shepherd Sandy(ms princess)and Alex(Knight) and I love them to pieces. Although they have the odd habit of placing their butts on my face whenever I'm sleeping, but besides that they're the love of my life.

Hello there! I have been into roleplay for a while now but I seldom had any luck finding good places for this activity. I am simultaneously curious, nervous and excited to see how things unfold here. I mainly like Fantasy roleplay scenarios but am open to other stuff if the idea catches my interest. I don't know how active I will be in the next period but I am looking forward to some occasional roleplay for fun and exploring concepts together. I like drawing a lot, been doing it since I was about three years old. I like films and anime a lot too, some films I really like are "Django: Unchained"; "The Whale" or "The Truman Show". As for anime, not that big of a consumer nowadays since I am not a big fan of the direction the industry has taken lately but some of the ones I hold dear to my heart are "One Piece"; "Jojo's Bizzare Adventure"; "Gangsta"; "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" and "Mononoke Hime". I am not that big into video games but I was a pretty big Minecraft player when I was a kid though I was really bad at building stuff. I also liked Paper Mario, Pokemon and Legend of Zelda. I like books as well but I have a hard time concentrating and my time is not the most dependable so I don't get much reading done nowadays though I wanna work on that. One author I admire is George Orwell, I have read "Animal Farm" and "1984" and I enjoyed them both a lot and I look forward to exploring other works of his. I am quite passionate about story-telling and I would like to one day publish some of the universes I make up in my mind when I am unable to fall asleep or I have a maladaptive daydreaming episode. My favourite music genre is probably rock, some of the bands I really enjoy are: Queen, Slipknot, Three Days Grace, Skillet, Get Scared, Twisted Sister and Linkin Park.
