Hello, my name is Rebellions but Rebel is fine I've been roleplaying for a long time I don't remember exactly how long.
What interest me in reolplay? Truthfully mostly fandom, fantasy and slice of life I do enjoy other things occasionally.
Interests outside of roleplay? Reading, writing, folklore, mythology, anime, manga, comics, video games, jokey jokes.
Truthfully I had an account here a few years ago but I forgot my password and lost my phone with my old email so, why not start over?
No pets at the moment unfortunately.
Two truths one lie?
I did not base my name on Dante's sword from Devil May Cry, I have no idea who the girl in my pfp is, I 100% understand the plot to the kingdom hearts games.

:D hello RP Nation
I was originally just coming here to help grow my RP server
but this looks like a great place and resource!
🙃

hi there!
not new to the site, just back after a pretty long break. hoping to start over and make some good friends and do something i love at the same time! ʕ •ᴥ•ʔ

Call me Tip or Tiptip, but never The Trader, only because it's too close to the word traitor! It is my first day here, but I have been roleplaying for something like twelve years now. I have participated in many one-on-one roleplays and more group roleplays than I can count. I am a fan of many different genres and am excited to meet some people on here to roleplay with.

Hey there, it's good to see you!

I'm Nimbus, a long-time roleplayer who has about a decade of on-again, off-again experience through different mediums and websites. I primarily started out roleplaying with online friends through Chatzy, before looking towards forum-esque roleplay on Reddit and eventually in a few dedicated servers for Discord! I wanted to look onwards to here as mainly to bring potential character ideas I have in mind to light, and to open up with others and meet new people.

My preferred genres tend to lean towards adventure and fantasy, but I'm more than happy to do slice-of-life related roleplay and other genres that I may end up being comfortable with too. I have some moderate experience with some fandoms as well, but more often than not it'll depend on what the fandom is.

As for personal interests, aside from gaming, recently I've been learning digital art & video editing, the latter being done with software known as Kdenlive. With what I've been figuring out, I've learnt how to create, edit and post videos and it's been enjoyable to figure all of this out!

I will also personally admit that I was a user here prior who seldom posted, and had deactivated my previous account due to personal decisions. I wanted to have a fresh start, sorry about that.

Either way, pleased to meet you all, and I hope to find something to be a part of!

Hi everyone! I'm V, a guy from Europe in my late twenties and new to this site but definitely not new to RPing - writing has been a passion of mine for more than a decade, and collaborative writing/roleplaying is one of my favourite things to do! My other hobbies include gaming, literature, music, nature and languages. I have an adorable black cat named after the Austrian Empress because she's spoiled and I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm her servant.

I enjoy darker settings/themes with romance being the main focus. I'm a sucker for the bad guy/good girl trope, yes, it's cliche but it's one of my favourite cliches and I'm not ashamed to admit that (maybe only a little lol). Forbidden/gothic romance, star-crossed lovers, soulmates and all that jazz - the more dramatic, the better for me. I like the challenge of writing a good villain, anti-hero or just a complex character with questionable or grey morality that is still likeable or somehow sympathetic. I always play OCs, but fandom roleplays are absolutely fine with me!

My favourite stories are character-centered, full of drama and angst but also with a good amount of fluff to balance it. As for genres, I feel most comfortable writing fantasy (mainly urban fantasy), supernatural and crime/noir, but I'm pretty flexible in that aspect. Although I don't particularly enjoy apocalyptic settings, zombies, hardcore slice of life and ERPs.

Hope this wasn't too long and boring. I'm happy to be here! :)

ayooo
my name is lotus, pronouns are they/them, and i am a 20 year old maths student from the uk ^^
been rping on and off since i was like. eleven twelve probably? idk, whenever i first discovered forums that allowed rp stuff, pretty sure i started on like the old moshi monsters forums or smt lmao. but yeah, over the years i've done forum stuff, stopped for a while, starting doing some rp overs tumblr or discord, but recently decided to try out forums again so here i am : D and honestly even between then i've been writing a bunch, mostly fanfiction tbh but i've been wanting to get back into doing original stuff. (just gotta find the time lol. rp is a good way to get that out of my system without having to commit to writing a whole thing on my own tho.) will probably mostly be hanging around the 1x1 section tho may join some group stuff if there's anything interesting.
but uhhh yeah, super hyped to be here!! see y'all around < 3

Hello and welcome to RpNation!
Here is where you can make an introduction post and let us know a little about you, while reading the intros of other people like yourself, and maybe making a new friend!

Before you go any further, though, please take a moment to look over our site rules. They aren't very long, and it's best to know what's expected of you before you take the plunge into the depths of the site.

If you have any questions, check out our FAQ. If there's something you want to know that isn't answered there, ask in the Community Hub -- many of our members are very friendly and happy to help. Or, if you have something to ask that you want to keep just between you and the staff, make a post in Staff Contact instead.

Please remember this is to introduce yourself. If you want to just jump into looking for roleplay players or partners please create a thread in Recruitment.

If you need some ideas on what to include in your introduction to the community, you can mention:
  • Your experience with roleplay and how long you have been roleplaying.
  • What interests you have within roleplay, such as genre or settings.
  • What interests you have outside of roleplay; such as a hobby.
  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3

I hope you enjoy your time here!
Hello!

My name is Braxton, I'm a 19 year-old writer and this is my first ever post here on RPNation!

My interest in the hobby of role-playing started almost as soon as I first gained access to the internet. I met some of my first friends through our shared interest in storytelling and have since traveled across a multitude of social media websites to find the one best suited for myself, my interests and my capabilities as a writer. With each website I've explored and with each writer I've worked with, I've gained enough experience to be able to take pride in a lot of my work and to create stories that are not only thorough, but imaginative. My goal as the newest member of RPN is to provide other writers with a grand experience in whatever genre or Fictional realm they have an interest in exploring through writing.

A lot of my roleplays tend to take place in Fictional universes that are already well-established and recognized by their communities. A major collective of these universes are ones from video games, such as "The Elder Scrolls" or "Pokémon". Though I am also familiar with several TV and movie franchises and their Fictional worlds, I find that I naturally turn to a lot of video games as a source for my inspiration. My go-to genres are normally action and adventure, fantasy and fiction, and drama and suspense.

Outside of writing stories, I also enjoy simply playing video games, getting lost in those worlds that are so different compared to our own. I also share just as much passion for reading as I do for writing and dedicate a large portion of my time to reading anything from fanfiction to real-world history retellings. I'm also very interested in art; I draw, on paper and digitally - I paint, I've made things out of wool, I simply love doing anything that allows me the opportunity to freely express my creativity. And, as an added bonus (though I'm not great by any means), I can bake and enjoy doing it - I make birthday cakes for my family and cheesecake for those sudden cravings; it's both a blessing and a curse, as someone who binge-eats. Haha!

RPNation was brought up in a recent Google search when I decided to scavenge the internet for a new website to write stories on. Seems to be a laid-back community with well thought-out rules and what appears to be an excellent moderation system. I love websites that offer public forum searches and make it easy to find people to write with, and it looks like RPN does exactly that. I have a feeling that I won't be disappointed at all with my experience during my undetermined amount of time here.

I do apologize for writing so much when this was truly only meant to serve as an introductory post - guess I'm more excited to write than I thought. I hope that you don't find yourself hesitating to reach out to me - even if we dont click as writing partners, I always find great joy in making a new friend. And please forgive me in advance if it takes me some time to reply to messages - I have ADHD and autism and often forget to or lose interest in responding unexpectedly. Should we get along and form a friendship, however, I may choose to prioritize responding to you out of pure excitement :)

Thank you for taking a moment out of your day/night to read this way-too-long introduction, it actually means a lot to me. Should I have mentioned anything here that has you interested in reaching out, please do not hesitate to do so! I'm looking forward to the possibility of working with other writers, whether they be experienced or completely new to the concept. You can ask me any questions you may have by replying to this or by reaching me via private messaging.

Chiao!

-Braxton <3
