Hello! I'm BloodBriar, but I can be called Briar, Bry or Trina for short.
I'm 24 {25 tomorrow,} female, I go by she/her. Chronically ill and ASD. Semi literate. I live on a farm. I do not and will not discuss politics , even in RP form. That is the only thing I can't handle in RPs. Horror fan, I prefer RPing animals over humans but can do either or, always happy to compromise. Often napping, going to doctor appointments or just chilling. RP posts may be inconsistent in the sense that it may take me a bit to post them if I'm socially or physically drained. I Adore music and horror movies as well as collecting skulls. Typically I can be found online but if I don't reply, feel free to poke me after a little while < 3 as sometimes I just forget or didn't have the energy at the time.
I enjoy RPing 1x1 in my spare time and often enjoy getting to know others and their characters!
I live with my adoptive sister and my parents.
I am on central time, I create species and often draw my own hoard of characters. Out of my personal animals, I own 1 SD, 2 pet dogs, 1 pet horse, 1 pet mouse and 1 pet rabbit. I'm very excited to get to know people to RP with!
Also absolutely love Discord ngl xD on it all of the time. I came here after a recommendation from an offsite friend once she realized I was having problems finding people to RP with.

Hello all, and thanks for having me on your site! :)

I am a recent “refugee” from another role playing site that is now scheduled to shut down due to inactivity. Having said that, I have been RPing for several years by this point, starting with the Roleplaying threads on Neopets, then Gaia Online, and then pretty much anywhere I can find. My work schedule these days has made it harder for me to maintain constant contact these days, so I make a point not to put too much pressure on other players (my standard RPing motto is "real life always comes first"), but rest assured that if I find/develop an interesting RP idea and don't feel too rushed or pressured, I'll be in that RP for the long haul. Even if I lose contact every now and then, I very rarely leave an RP unless I genuinely have no other choice and/or lose interest for one reason or another, and I'll be sure to tell you if and when that ever happens.

So now that that's clear, here's a quick summary of the kinds of RP genres and fandoms that I tend to lean toward. I can and will branch out of my comfort zone sometimes if a particular story catches my interest, but these are the genres that I will almost always have an idea in mind for.

Fantasy (Modern, Medieval, Ancient, etc.)
Mystery/Detective
Action/Adventure
Mythology (esp. Greco-Roman, but I can do others too)
Historical
Sci-Fi (sometimes)
Fandoms (occasionally, depending on the extent of my knowledge on the fandom in question)

On the other hand, there are certain things that I will NOT RP, simply because I personally am not comfortable with them. Please don't take this personally if you like any of these, as this is only my own personal preference.

Slave/Master/BDSM-based RPs
Historical or fantasy RPs that would reasonably feature slavery and/or slave characters (e.g. an RP set in the Confederate South during the American Civil War) are fine as long as it's not the main focus, but I don't do any RPs specifically centered around BDSM (which is against RPNation’s rules anyways) or a slave/master relationship.

Sex scenes or overly sexual/NSFW content
This should go without saying on this site because sexual/erotic content of any kind is specifically BANNED on RPNation, but needless to say, I have absolutely no complaints about said ban.

Anything overly religious or blasphemous/sacrilegious
I have a healthy respect for religion and religious beliefs in general, so I would rather not do any RPs that would involve “playing with” or otherwise disrespecting religious subject matter in any way.

Any RP specifically designed to promote/glorify discrimination (racism, sexism, etc.) or any other sort of hateful conduct.
This includes ANY sort of hate/discrimination, including “reverse discrimination“ which, let’s be honest, is still discrimination. I can handle realistic depictions of discrimination in a roleplay (e.g. an RP set during the Jim Crow era) as long as the subject matter is handled carefully and makes it clear that said discrimination is NOT something to be glorified. On the other hand, if an RP clearly exists solely as an excuse for someone to promote their hatred for one or more groups of people, I want absolutely no part in it.

Any RP specifically designed to promote/glorify toxic or abusive behavior of any kind.
Again, I can handle realistic depictions of toxicity and/or abuse as long as they are handled carefully and make a point NOT to glorify said toxicity/abuse; in fact, in those cases, chances are my character(s) will be among the first to openly call out the toxic/abusive behavior in question. But if an RP shamelessly promotes that sort of behavior and expects it to be treated like it’s good/okay/justified/etc., I’m out.
On that note, remember that RPNation specifically forbids any sort of sexual content, WHICH INCLUDES SEXUAL ABUSE OF ANY KIND. So don’t even go there.

To spread my influence of Drag to all who are in need of a reason to come out with their true selves. It's as Rupaul always said... "We're all born naked and the rest is Drag."
