Hello all! My name is Constantine and I have been looking for a roleplay community for quite some time. Beyond being very detailed and creative, I very much enjoy the intimacy of creating a story with someone else. I have built lasting connections before but sadly those connections were lost. Having a community to be a part of is big for me...and I've never RP'd with more than one person at a time. Exciting! IRL I am working on my Masters degree so I can work as a psychotherapist, so this is one of the only things I have time for in terms of filling my soul. Know what I mean? I have many stories and have played all sorts of characters...fantasy, every-day-life, human, non-human...I am totally open. I love very story-driven arcs and watching relationships (not necessarily romantic, also friendship, comrades in arms, etc.) develop. While I am gay, I have very much enjoyed rolling at gay/bi/straight and even man/woman. It's all part of the organic process.
 
  • Hi all! My name is Belle. It is lovely to meet you. I hope you are all having a wonderful Halloween, as well as a great day in general. It is great to be here and to have finally found a new website to roleplay on. I have been roleplaying on and off for about five years now. I have had plenty of chances to learn proper roleplay etiquette and how to write multiple paragraphs per response. Though this doesn't mean that I am familiar with everything. If it help to reassure you, I will mention that my longest roleplay lastest two years.
  • When I say roleplay, I imagine playing as my favorite fandom characters. To see an alternate reality through the eyes of someone new is a beautiful thing. Even if it's a character I've been familiar with for years and have roleplayed as more than once, I still get chills down my spine upon writing from the character's perspective. It's just as much of a wonderful experience to roleplay as my own original characters, though they've changed a lot over the years, just like me and my own style of roleplaying. My favorite genre is romance, but I also love action/adventure, drama, mystery, fantasy, supernatural themes and science fiction.
  • I am an artist and baker outside of roleplaying. I have terrible anxiety and tend to get shaky hands, but as long as I'm holding on to something that means a lot to me, I find myself feeling much calmer. This is why I enjoy typing away on my phone. Drawing also always me to be creative and I get to draw up concepts for my original characters. Baking gives me sort of a nostalgic feeling. I suppose it's because of my great grandmother, whom for the time I got to spend with her loved to spend her time in the kitchen, even when she was having to use a walker to get around safely.
  • I appreciate you taking the time to read this and hearing a little bit about me. It always makes me feel better to be able to open up about my personal struggles, even if I don't know you personally and may never have the chance to. Hello everyone,

I used to forum RP's all the time, but in recent years my usual group has been playing games I haven't had any interest in. So I've decided to look around for new places to hangout and here I am! Many of the games I've been in had a mix of original content and stuff from existing media. I generally prefer fantasy and/or sci-fi genres. And uh, I can't think of anything else to put right now, lol

  • Why you decided to join RpNation.
  • Write about your pet (if you have one).
  • Or for something silly, two truths and a lie.

You can use those prompts or just introduce yourself as you wish to the community.

While we are happy to have this thread help you meet and make new friends, please remember this isn't the spot to converse about roleplays, in-depth conversations, or taking over the thread with ongoing chit-chat. ;3
