It's 1800's London but with wizards, essentially. Technically all the Sibling positions have been filled, but if you really wanted to make one and the submission was good enough, we could let you use that. Otherwise, you could make someone like a Butler, Maid, Gardener, Cook, basically the staff keeping the Estate in good care. Or you could make someone who's part of a different noble family who is friends with one or more of the Solbergs. Use your imagination, really.

I'd say it starts off more along the lines of slice of life, but would turn into adventure/mystery as it progresses.

How dark would those mysteries be? And I’m guessing the parent’s sudden ‘vacay’ might be something they have to investigate?

The parents vacation does have something to do with it, but I won't say more than that. The mystery part of it probably won't be super dark, but it will have its serious moments.
