Even though the ground was mostly hidden by fog she could see the faint shapes of some tall nightmares lumbering around or hear the screech of other beasts fighting there was even some faint thoughts flowing around them. Everything seemed to be alive and changing even before her eyes. Dru then said "close your eyes and focus some of the energy into your eyes and open them." When she did that she would see the mist clear away and would see millions of doors glowing with golden energy as they represented the sleeping minds of the Chinese.

Zadock didn't even blink forcing a small portion of his soul into Rick's along with the souls of spirits all of which began to merge with the soul. Joey could see black threads stitching them all together with the threads disappearing as another spirit added itself to the works. Zadcok would then snap and a body would appear however it was no ordinary body. Zadcok had suped up the physical strength and endurance of the body so that now all he needed was a soul to pilot it. Zadcok would then sigh "you might want to look away Joey this isn't pretty."

He then forced the mess of a soul into a body branding both with a concentrated burst of soul fire causing both the body and the soul to scream with enough force to shake the trees. Zadcok then said "up my vassal." The corpse rose awkwardly as if being pulled up by strings. It hen stood before him. "that's how you turn a soul into your puppet and it still has all the perks it had in life."
