Wow! Thanks for posting your art! I think it's really great :) Do you have any tutorials of (literally anything, but probably faces, chibis, or hands) that you've made, yourself? Or any you'd recommend for aspiring artists? Thank you!

frick i went into a comatose hello there

AaAa Thank you for appreciating my art!! I've literally self taught myself everything so having to explain anything tutorialesque-fashion would both taking ages and probably result in me skipping over my words and restating the same thing since I suck at explaining w h o o p s . I do got a few key pointers though!!

1) refs are good references are friends always use them. Get a good grasp of real anatomy before transitioning stylistically, since stylistically is pretty much realism but cutting it down to be easier / nicer to look at because ew real people's faces. Try not to start out using cartoons as a ref, but hey whatever floats your cucumber.

2) hands straight up ref your own hand

3) When shading (or really colouring) NEVER USE THE COLOUR BLACK i need to learn this too. ALWAYS go for hues and don't just make colours darker to shade them!! (like shading yellow you could have a more pink tone to it, or green with a blue tone, it's nicer to look at)

Honestly, you just gotta keep at it if your an aspiring artist. It's totally okay to get frustrated and not draw anything for ages, and you aren't going to suddenly become a master artist, so you shouldn't start yelling because you aren't getting better. You always are!! Sorry if this is the same old stuff in the blender ; w;
