Fantasy The Euphorian Highschool for Empowereds

Gregory listened to Ariel's mom speak, and knew his answer was lackluster, but he didn't want to explain the situation to her just yet... that was, untill he heard the term "holiday" being used
He sighed, and shook his head.
"This is not it... I wouldn't use the term "Holiday"... I'd use the word.. "exodus", "refugee", "escaping from potential threat"... I didn't do it voluntarily, someone forced me to run.. As I said, it's a long story, so it's better that Ariel explains it all to you, miss, I told her everything..." He was rather reluctant to remind himself of the events that hit him...

Euloria had paused in place when Gregory answered, she obviously wasn't expecting his answer at all. She stared over at him for a moment or two before she had finally answered "Ah...Right. That's why she seems so happy to have you back" she answered, her gaze softening as her expression turned to that of a frown "I apologize. I thought you left without saying anything to my daughter. Ariel was so distraught when she didn't know why you left that I was angry. I just didn't want to see her that upset again" she explained, after which she continued to serve the food.

She went wide eyed before looking down so her bangs cover her eyes from Elliot. She knew that already. But hearing someone else say it feels embarrassing. She then got up before walking over to a door and looking at Elliot. She used her sword to cut the chains. The door was still closed even though the chains are broken, but a push would help open it. She then spoke as she looked at the door. "Then... Can you help me through this?"
At first he thought his words hadn't done much as he heard no response from her. That was until she had gotten up and cut the chains from the doors. He stared over at her then to the doors and back only pausing on her when she asked him to help. After a moment or two, he stepped forward and nodded "I came in here to help make sure you got your memories back, if it means going through them with you to accomplish that then yeah." He answered as he walked over to Seria and the doors "You'll have my help" he reassured with a nod.

"Alright." She looked at Elliot before holding his hand a bit tightly. "Just note, this doesn't mean I like you or anything like that, okay?" She then looked from Elliot to the door and closed her eyes. She inhaled deeply and exhaled before speaking. "Let's go then." She then pushed the door and the light from inside blinded them. Soon, they began to see the setting. It was bright as day and they were in a sort of world where modern technology wasn't exactly a thing yet. Like the era of knights and castles and stuff. They seemed to be in a village, not very wealthy but not poor either. Somewhere in the middle where the stone walls protected the village. Seria then looked around and the sight made her wide eyed. She blinked before looking around more. It seemed like this was very familiar. And even a special place. "This... This is..?!" She exclaimed before she looked over to a ledge where bellow, appearing to be a lower level. There were sounds of music playing, crowds cheering and just the sound that would fit a festival. She ran over to the ledge and looked down to watch a festival. There were people laughing and smiling, drinking and dancing, everyone having a good time. She backed away from the ledge before sighing. "This was so many years ago. Centuries in fact. This is where I was born and raised. However thrown away. People with red eyes were uncommon here and my parents obviously didn't want to seem like they were the odd bunch." She looked more into the crowd and saw a young girl far from the crowd walking in a way where it doesn't look like she wants attention. She looked to be about 8 years old. She had red eyes, long black hair and was wearing only a dirtied white dress. It doesn't look like she had been bathed as well. It was her younger self. "Then there I was. Just... There. On my own. With no one to ask for help. I remembered I stole just to live. And well, that supposedly ensured my curse to be alone for my time here. Though something's off about this place. Not the memory of it or the place. Something wasn't right. I don't know why but this place in time, something changed. What was it...?"

Elliot paused, staring down at their hands as she held his hand tightly "U-Uh... Right." He answered when she announced that the hand holding didn't mean anything. He didn't think it did anyway, even if he did find the gesture a little awkward, but he had his own reasons for that. His thought process was stopped when she said she was finally ready to go and had lead him through the doors which were emitting a very bright light. When they finally stepped out the other side, Elliot emerged with Seria, his free arm moved up to shield his eyes. He heard music play faintly in the distance He lowered his arm from his face slowly as Seria had darted off to the ledge. Elliot didn't immediately follow her, he wasn't just taking in the surroundings. Sure he had seen villages and castles and the like in the dream realm when Elaena would take him there but this was different. It was an actual memory of an actual place...He guessed this was why she didn't say how old she was...she probably doesn't even remember after all these years. He blinked a few times, turning his attention back to Seria as she explained what was going on. He walked closer to Seria and the ledge as she talked about herself, stopping when he was standing next to her peering over the ledge. Her furrowed his brows when she talked about something being off but not the place or the memory, glancing over at her with a confused expression "I'm not sure I get what you mean with it being off. Do you mean some bad change is going to happen here but you just...can't remember yet...?" He asked, wondering if it was something like that she meant. After all this seemed like a pretty normal memory, nothing out of the ordinary so why was it locked up?

"I don't know... It just seems o--" Suddenly, there was a monster emerged from the walls. It was about the size of a bear but resembled a wolf with a long tail. It seemed like a shadow with a skull mask and red eyes. It roared and the crowds began running away as guards and knights began to engage the monster. The monster jumped down to rip through the knights and guards before it laid its eyes on the young Seria, who was trapped in the corner. Seria's eyes went wide as she was pulling out her sword to attack the monster herself to protect her younger self until her younger self extended her arms to try and stop the monster from charging at her. However as she extended her arms towards the monster, it seemed a visible beam of divine light had touched the side of her neck before flames began shooting from her hands and incinerated the monster. When Seria saw this, she put her sword away remembering how it all went. When her younger self realized what she had done, she just stood there before falling to her knees, unsure what she was supposed to do now. That's when one of the surviving knights walked over to her and picked her up, saying. "You're a powerful little one." And from there, he began walking back to the castle with the young Seria in his arms as she held onto the knight. Seria's eyes relaxed before backing away. "I think we're... We're done here. Let's move on." She said before a door appeared with no chains while Seria begun walking towards it.

Lumina

Lumina was probably out for another few minutes after Luxe had found her. Her mind was still reeling from whatever the hell happened to it when she touched his necklace. So many different images of different things that the Phoenix knew she had never seen or done, but felt completely familiar. So apparently it just needed a moment of respite. But it didn't last long as suddenly Lumina was being shaken awake, and her eyes opened to see the red-haired boy from before. Without even missing a beat, she spoke aloud, almost going on autopilot for a moment.

"...Luxe...?"

The Phoenix blinked, not really registering the fact that she somehow, despite never having met this boy before, knew his name. The confusion showed on her face as the word left her mouth, the memories still not having sunk in yet, as they were still only flashes. However, almost as soon as her words were done, another painful wave of memory flashes surged through her head, and she grabbed at it, crying out curling into herself and subconsciously leaning into the grasp that Luxe had on her. These flashes seemed to all be similar in the fact that they all contained Luxe within them. Lumina still didn't understand what they meant, she was more concerned that this was happening at all and that Kenji wasn't here. The pain seemed to be enough to make the Phoenix succumb to it once more, and the Phoenix went limp in her brothers arms.

As the beast burst through the wall and Seria went to pull out her sword. Elliot just stood there, his eyes drifting from the beast to Seria going to pull her sword. Elliot calmly shook his head as if to say "don't bother" Obviously being someone who could enter memories and thoughts he knew that interfering with memories doesn't work, they've already happened so the course of them can't change, nor can anything in them see you. Seria had already stopped as her younger self received the power to fight the thing off herself so he didn't have to bother explaining anyways. Elliot followed behind Seria as she told him they were done, taking a quick glance at the girl and the knight walking off before looking back to Seria and the newly appeared doors "That's how you got your powers I'm guessing?" He asked as they reached the door.

"I suppose so." She opened the next set of doors which showed younger Seria watching the knights spar and practice at their barracks. Seria stepped through the doors and watched the scene on top of a watch tower. She then saw her younger self picking up a wooden sword to spar with the knights as well. Surely, they were playing around with her and playing along with her sword play as they pretended to lose and let her win. It seemed that her younger self found a home with the military. It made the current Seria laugh a little. "Guess that's how I became a knight."

Hearing a familiar voice and a finger sinking into his cheek, Kenai immediately grinned back when he turned his head to view who it was. It was, of course, Asako...or "The almighty Asako" as she had dubbed herself just now. Said title caused Kenai to chuckle a little before speaking. "How lucky I feel to have you make a presence here with me, I thought you were going to ditch me or something" he joked, bowing his head in a joking fashion as well "So, what have you been up to?" He asked as he leaned back on his chair again.

"What have I been up to?... Well, mainly going to school... and homework... lot's and lots of homework." She said and laughed a bit. Thankfully, she didn't really struggle with homework, besides the fact she always puts it off until the last minute. "How's college working out for you?~ Gone to a party and had a fated encounter with the girl of your dreams yet?~" She was of course joking, and the look on her face proved it. She couldn't imagine Kenai attending a party, or even socializing with anyone.

Kenai raised his brows after she answered, laughing at her joke about partying "Like one of those movies? Oh yes. Of course. Room lit up dramatically and everything." He joked back, shaking his head a little "I did go to a party though. Believe it or not" he added, not joking this time though "My classmates managed to drag me into going..." He admitted, scratching the side of his face with his hand before looking back to Asako and smiling again. "It's good to hear you've decided to give school a proper chance" he said with a smile.

Ariel was so distraught when she didn't know why you left that I was angry. I just didn't want to see her that upset again" she explained, after which she continued to serve the food.

Gregory sighed softly, after hearing Ariel's mother remark. He was a bit angry at himself for leaving so suddenly, and not even leaving a note, but the situation was dire.
"Trust me, when I say: I was heartbroken when I realised I was leaving your daughter alone... I didn't want it to be so sudden, but... I couldn't do anything... but run" Greg then slowly sat down on the chair for a while, getting himself together, but soon after stood up.
"Am I needed for anything else?"

Luxe
As his sister collapsed, Luxe looked left and right frantically, hoping that someone would come by in some miraculous fashion and help her. The area was mostly quiet, however. Apparently everyone else was preoccupied. On his own, Luxe was unsure he could do much for his sibling, and the thought that he would be useless to her twice in her life nearly brought a tear to his eye right then.

At that same moment, he realised that it wasn't just up to him to fix this. Not completely.

Lifting Lumina in his arms gently, being careful not to jostle her body much, Luxe extended a pair of orange, red, and golden wings. whipping them, once, twice, he kicked off of the ground, the air and some of the ground beneath them shattering as he took off at top speed.

"Don't worry Lumi. We've got you. You're family's here for you, now. Just hold on, sis."

With that, the pair shot off through the clouds, away from the school and out of the city itself. To the only place he ever truly felt completely at peace. The place, and the people within that accepted him, flaws and all. The only place he could ever call home.

For today, Ayen had no classes to teach, however, he did had a few errands to run himself after he saw the kids off to school. Admittedly, he didn't like walking into town, unlike the humans of half a millennium ago, the towns and cities of the humans these days had too much refined and industrialized materials for Ayen to stomach for long periods of time. It was like being a non-smoker in a densely packed smoking lounge, you can get by, but you could definitely be somewhere better. The smallest of bright sides came from the fact that those with powers, human or not, could freely move around since the governments of the world stopped hunting them, meaning Ayen could open up a business to help pass the time if he chose to do so. In fact, that's why he was out and about today. Well, rather, he was out to see what spots would serve best for what businesses. Maybe this time around he'd look into a tavern? Or did they have a different name these days? Questions for later.

Ayen felt as if he'd never grow accustomed to this age, where steel and glass reign supreme in the human's works. Whether it be the building's that all reach to the sky in the form of towers, or the horseless carriages that run on gods know what; it didn't sit right with Ayen. For just five hundred years, this was far too much. Maybe Len could become used to this, but for Ayen, this modern age was too alien. Even so, after some time he scoped out several places that may be good for business. One in particular place had want seemed to be a three story suite at the top of a rather fat building. Satisfied with his search, Ayen decided to follow his internal compass to the closest patch of natural land he could find.

Even though it was isolated, the park Ayen found was still better than being in the brunt of the city. That's something Ayen would need for his business, plenty of plants, maybe even a garden. Something to let him relax despite the city. Putting thoughts aside, Ayen found a place to sit, not really minding anyone else at the time. However, as it always had, Ayen's boredom led to curiosity and his curiosity demanded his look around and listen in on conversations. Before long Ayen heard a nostalgic name, from a voice that he couldn't quite put a finger upon. He knew he should recognize it, but there was more, Ayen's body locked up at it. Then Ayen heard mention of the Fae and then... his own name? Before long, Ayen was staring at the girl to say those things, and only one thing popped into his head: Is that "...Celaena?"

tenor.gif

Celaena

It was nice to have Kana around, the fae wouldn't deny that. And yes, her curiosity and adventurous spirit did help her not hate this strange world as much as she might otherwise, but she couldn't deny how out of place she really was. No, that's not the right wording. This world was one where everyone could find a place. There were many different races and species and people mingling in their daily lives. It was more like she was just... new to it all. She somehow followed Ayen's trail to this world but... this world didn't exactly seem like the kind of place that he would make his home. She could sense that there were many a forest nearby, so maybe it was just that she was looking in the wrong place at the moment. But the downtown area held so many different things she had never seen before, so it was more of a desire to try and make sense of the world.

That still left the issue of Ayen, however. There was an obvious gap of time between the last time she saw him and now, and she figured that he thought she was dead. Truthfully, she was surprised herself at her current situation. She remembered being poisoned with the iron and... well, then she just kind of... woke up. The crystal had fallen apart and her eyes opened. She had thought for a long while about the how and why, but she couldn't think of any possible answers. The only thing she knew once waking up is that she felt Ayen's power. Following it lead to wherever she was now. A place called Earth. There were stories of course, and a part of Celaena had always wanted to visit, but due to past... circumstances, she never thought it possible. Take that, younger Celaena!

There was something about this world that definitely told her Ayen was here. It was like...he was always here. Celaena laughed to herself, a silly thought having come to mind. What if he had a hand in shaping this world? That would be crazy! She laughed for a moment, before her face changed to a stonier one. But what if it wasn't crazy? Kana watched the emotions change on her face for a moment before sensing something. She turned around, in the direction that Ayen was, and began mewing in an almost violent sense. Hearing this, Celaena turned toward where Kana was looking, her eyes locking on a white-haired figure not too far behind her. Immediately recognizing who it was, the fae froze, her violet eyes widening. Just like her counterpart, a single word escaped her lips. The only thing on her mind. A single name.

"Ayen...?"

Elliot stood behind her a little, watching as well, finding it amusing that the shoulders were clearly letting her win "Seems that way" he said with a a small smile. He glanced around, noting nothing seemed out of the ordinary here at all. He guessed this was one of the good memories that she wanted to remember "Are things feeling a little bit clearer to you now?"

"Sort of. But me still being here after all these years? I don't recall." She said before watching young Seria more and then around the area. It looked like a peaceful day. A happy day. This memory made her smile as she looked back to the playing soldiers and sighed. "Damn I have to admit. I was kinda cute back then."

...♅Akira listened to Perfect explain his unique situation. He had sensed some student's power from within Perfect, along with a Sanctum's. With a sigh, Akira took in the information and began to think. With a nod, Akira brought his hands together and pointed them at Perfect, taking the same stance as his former mentor as he brought his hands to his waist and began gathering power. He responded to Perfect's prior statement and watched as Perfect fired his beam towards him. Akira then shouted as he fired his own blue blast towards Perfect, his attack soon clashing with Perfect's and causing a sonic boom to occur, blowing the air throughout the area. This in turn cause the nearby farm cars to be thrown into the air from the force of the attacks smashing against one another. The ground broke beneath Akira's feet and debris began to rise into the air as the attacks collided, the beams struggling against one another♅...

I'm glad you told me that. Now all I have to do is beat them out of you. One at a time.. Kamehameha!

Perfect grinned, his eyes focused on the King. It was a shame. Perfect knew the coming attack could be fatal, so he had to think of someway to keep his body from taking more than enough damage. He quickly took the same stance Akira had taken and just as the blast was fired, Perfect fired back, yelling the same thing as his former pupil. He was outmatched, but he wasn't going to lose that easily. With his energy depleting as fast as it was, he wasn't going to be able to keep it up much longer... Which is why his arms gave out on him and he was consumed in the Kamehameha wave fired by Akira. His body had fell from out of the sky, and he hit the ground with a loud boom.

tumblr_n7zzche9uQ1qdzlzpo1_r3_500.gif

Perfect laid on the ground a bit, coughing up a purple liquid that was his blood. Slowly, he started to get up, only to fall back down on his knees in and hands. He grit his teeth, and closed his eyes as he winced in pain. Unfortunately in this form, all of his powers depended on the amount of energy he was taking from those he absorbed, but with his control over them wavering, he was becoming weaker. Going back to his human state would grant him his abilities back since he'd rely on his own power, but at the same time, he'd be at even more of a disadvantage. Even with his Sanctum level strength, he'd still need time to regenerate and Akira most definitely wouldn't give him the time for that. He eventually looked up at the man in horror, knowing that it could be the end of him here.

"I-I see that I've made a mistake, but I won't apologize for all that I've done so far. It'd only make me seem weak... But I will admit my defeat here."

Taking a deep breath, Perfect began to cough, spitting up a bit more blood before collapsing face down on the ground.

"Give me time, and I'll release those I've taken... Then you can decide my fate after. I'm prepared for death, but I can't say that'd stop me."

--Misafune--

He realized he had aged, and greatly. he felt wizened also, like a great deal of knowledge had poured into his head. His brain for a second had to adapt to a lifetime of arcanae learned to be burned into his synapses. He looked at the girl, from far off in his neo memories, and he waved his hands as the room began to melt away for him and Serra. They were on his turf now. Well actually his great great great grandfathers, but still he made it his own. "Now there is only two options for this to end. One is you lose your will to continue this bully's game, and stop hurting people, or I can trap you here where you will reach the brink of death, but never cross over. Trapped for eternity. You know what? forget it. I cannot harm you. But I can rob you of your memories of wanting to do this. Goodbye Serra, may we never cross paths again." Misafune said as he activated the forbidden mudra, then pushed in the even more forbidden mudra of domination, and once those overlapped, he forced every memory of her wanting to cause pain that day, of him as he is now, of Thomas, of Rini, of everyone she hurt today out of her brain. He opened a hole right above her bed and pushed the drooling mind numbed girl to fall into her bed and remain there until the side effects wore off. Before departing, he took pity on her, and gave her the feeling of peace around people.

--Seconds later as Old Man Misafune Returns--

Misafune stepped back into reality, and fell over as his personal time violently snapped him back as close to how old he is supposed to be at this moment. Everything hurt everywhere, and the boy could only laugh as he felt all of that power and knowledge vanish from him. He was spent, but alive and weeks older as a consequence. His features had hardened from the traces of his boyhood and now deep into teenage ruggedness. He climbed into the bed with Rini and smiled. "Hi" he said to her.

"Ayen...?"

Ayen

Was it really that simple? The situation somehow felt cheap to Ayen after everything, not that he wasn't happy. But nevertheless for Celaena to just be there, it had to be a trick, right? Nothing was ever that simple, that easy, or without strings attached. Had Ayen gotten enough sleep? Maybe he was poisoned without noticing and died? No, he was fully awake, and still felt the input of senses from nature, surely if he were to reach out with his mind he'd feel a false sense of omnipresence from connecting with so many plants and animals. Yet, he couldn't believe his eyes, even with the entirety of his being saying it is her, his long years told him not to be too hopeful. Besides, why would she even be in the human world, to begin with? Ayen was the first Fae to ever venture here, even before humans came to be. Technically, Ayen was the first life on this planet. Sure, more Fae may have come since then, but the modern age of the planet wouldn't be too appealing to his kind.

Doubts aside, there would be no way of knowing for sure unless he checked. Acceptance or denial niether could be taking in full until Ayen examined the Fae in front of him. He never did find a cure for iron poisoning for the Fae, that's why Ayen had left Celaena inside of that crystal, so he'd have time to find one. Yet, even still, Ayen walked towards her, unsure whether or not she was the real thing or not. Her age had certainly been maintained, but at the same time, her stomach lay flat... If she did survive, maybe it was only natural that their child is lost. That very thought sent chills throughout Ayen's core. Despite his efforts, his child with the woman of his heart could be dead before they even had a chance at life. It was an awful loss, but yet, now that Ayen stood before Celaena, his doubts started to breakdown. If one was lost, maybe they could try again.

With a deep breath, Ayen looked at Celaena before covering his eyes, trying to hide the doubt in them. "Is it really you, even after all this time? My Heart?" Maybe it was the question he asked or even the person he was potentially asking, but Ayen's countless years of experience seemed to leave him, his voice presenting none of the layers of emotional strength he had gained since leaving the Fae.

Euloria gave a simple nod of her head as she closed her eyes momentarily "I understand, it was for your safety and Ariel's. I have no reason to doubt the honesty of your answer, I can sense it" She answered, letting him know she was no longer angry at him. She gently shook her head to his question about helping out "No, no. You were very helpful, thank you" she answered, the eerily quiet calmness she was previously expressing before he explained himself was replaced with a warm smile. "We just need to wait for Ariel and her father to return from their discussion" she added as she took another quick glance out the window.

"Sort of. But me still being here after all these years? I don't recall." She said before watching young Seria more and then around the area. It looked like a peaceful day. A happy day. This memory made her smile as she looked back to the playing soldiers and sighed. "Damn I have to admit. I was kinda cute back then."
Elliot tilted his head ever so slightly at her answer "Well... That was only one memories set. I didn't expect you to know all that yet." he answered with a small shrug of the shoulders as he slowly turned his head to look at her. He chuckled a little at her second statement looking back to the training grounds where the knights and the young Seria was "I guess, yeah" he answered with a bit of a smile.

Slightly upset

Laurel had just made it to the school. Every time she had the chance to look at it from the gates, she always took a moment to stop and take in the sights. The school, in an indescribable way, was beautiful. After a few seconds, Laurel took another sip of her caramel macchiato and walked onto campus. There were basically no students anywhere to distract her, so she walked straight to the office.

Rini could only watch as Misafune and Serra had left reality for this to sort out, only making out bits and pieces of what was happening. She couldn't help and felt a little bad that she couldn't help him too. She didn't like being useless in these kinds of situations. Granted they shouldn't happen so often like this or at all ideally, but she felt like she could at least try and help but she simply didn't know how. She knew what Misafune was doing to himself to do this was dangerous, he had told her that himself and her she was watching him selflessly damage himself not knowing how to help or even see what was going on fully. She took a breath, now was not the time to be scolding herself about inexperience. It was then that she had noticed Misafune snap back to their own reality and reset his age to what it was supposed to be, or atleast near it. She almost scrambled out of the bed to help him up, now sitting up completely straight but he had already pulled himself up and had now climbed into the bed next to her.

She stared at him for a moment or two before she had gradually relaxed her posture again, his smile prompting her to answer with her own smile. "...Hi" she answered back in her usual soft spoken tone, blinking a few times "Is everything okay now?" She added, her face displaying curiousity as her gaze moved to where Serra once stood. It had not lingered there long before it had snapped back to Misafune "More importantly are you okay? Are you hurting?" She asked as her expression had quickly morphed into one of worry as she seemed to be glancing over him in an attempt to access if he was okay, but all she could tell visually is that he looked different from before he had dealt with Serra, no doubt a side effect of his actions. She was grateful for and impressed by said actions but was also worried about his health after carrying them out.

Noticing her concern he pulled her into an embrace. "Well despite feeling like I was hit by a semi truck coming and going and every joint in my body screaming at me, I am okay. Just know only for you would I do what I can't remember doing." he smiled at her as he wanted to kiss her, but he did not fully understand the protocol for a hero to get a kiss from a maiden. "My main concern was for you. I hurt to my core when you told me goodbye. I need to train. I need to get stronger. But mostly I want to try and divine the path I took in life to do what I did that needed doing." he spoke to her softly with a gentle hand on her cheek. She grounded him, and he knew it. But he wanted to protect this life with her and Chiharu. "I would have dropped a mountain on me and her if it came to it though." he said with a little sternness. "Because I meant every word. I do love you, Rini Yelil."
he spoke truly moving to kiss her.

Seria nodded. Soon, things started to sped up. Like a time lapse. Soon, Seria went from sword playing to training and actual sparring. She seemed very eyeaxceptional, even maybe more advanced than the other rookies and recruits. She looked more to be 13. She seemed to be at the top of her squad. Seria just watched with amusement, like reviewing the basics. It was nearly like learning this all over again. She kind of was. The young Seria was very well trained with the long sword, even the claymore. Since she was 13, it seemed to be even taller than her, but maybe in time she will grow and actually wield it efficiently. "So now I've gone to training... Hm?"

--Achilles--

A weird day. The boy found himself on a prolonged walk around campus, having feigned a stomach ache. It was not entirely a lie, but the pain in his stomach and heart was not from a physical source. He was worried about Kannon. She was inhabiting his brain and there was nothing he could do to ease her pain. He wanted to hold her, until her tears stopped, and maybe get some smooches in. Though he will not say that out loud, as it would be in poor taste. No he just wanted her to be okay. He wanted to ask his mother what was up, but as he expected, it would probably turn into a discussion on a girls heart and how she just needs to figure it out and not need someone to fix things for her. But he could not let that feeling of being useless continue. So he made his way to the empty training grounds, where few students were mulling about after practices and began to practice his sword strikes on a target.

(IF Kannon wants to find Achilles, thats where he is.)
