The Helpers of the Nation
Answering questions, communicating with other users, reporting content, hosting roleplays, helping with the newsletter, giving tips on BBCoding (for a bbcode helper), and much more. Helpers are recognized members who enjoy assisting others with various needs around the site as well as keeping our community a positive place for others to communicate.

Helpers will be users who work with the staff to do the following and more in an effort to create a better RpNation for all.

  • - Newsletter
  • - Contests
  • - Helping Users (general questions, bbcodes, etc)
  • - Promote a positive environment
  • - Graphic Requests
  • - Much more (all fun stuff, we promise!)

Please note that helpers are not staff members. While they do act as aids for staff, their job is to not enforce rules and or punish members for wrong doings. Please do not desire to become a Helper for the status, abuse of this is grounds for several warning points and barring from future site projects/groups.

To apply for such a position please head on over to The Helper Application Forum and follow our questionnaire. Anyone who wishes to contribute positively to the site is encouraged to apply, although not everyone will be accepted. Apart from applications we will also be reaching out to members who stand out from the rest via being helpful and positive around the Nation.

We would appreciate if there was only one application per user, and even if you aren't responded to right away, there is always a chance we might contact you in the future. You do not have to do every activity listed, but having skills in many areas is appreciated.

Even though I'm not exactly good at BBCoding, I can help with general questions, creativity and being positive, so I may apply. ^^

sounds muy intersante.

Not good wiff BBCode, used to be.

You don't have to be good at BBCode, guys. I was a helper once when it was introduced before and I had no experience with BBCode, so don't worry about that ;D

Ok that's good, how could one contribute to the "Contests" and "events" part? I just wanna be sure, I've never really done something like this.
Contests and events helpers would basically help out with organising and thinking of new ideas for contests/events for the website.

This is interesting! You guys could always use more help, you do your hardest for this site after all :D I hope to see some awesome helpers helping!

What's being done to prevent this from ending the same way it did last time?

The last system in 2015 was a combination of several other groups and systems that weren't working out and fell apart. This is a complete new thing from the groundup and we have things like Discord now to let us all stay in touch :).

A lot of effort went into making this new group.

What's the difference between applying and just helping out in little ways whenever you feel like it?

Mind elaborating?

There was previously a system exactly the same to this that ended badly, to say the least. It stirred up a lot of shit, lots of power-tripping, and more which led to the entire program getting canned.

We're going to give Helpers a lot more guidance then they did have last time.

Okay. That's about as vague as can be, and I don't think guidance was the reason the program failed last time.

I mean we had the shoutbox in the past which was a terrible idea, and also tried the Discord in the past, which also was a bad idea and ended badly. We seem to be on a real "let's try this thing that only ended badly before 2.0 surely it won't end in disaster again" trend recently, and I'm pretty sure the second time isn't going to be any different.

Helpers will have a bit of responsibility and directly help with contests and other stuff the staff does.

Users can still be friendly and help each other normally :).
