Just curious ahead of time; mutations -- does this include or limit the use of manipulations?


Such as manipulating any of the elements?

oh, i forgot to ask. (Sorry for asking so many questions) are there vehicles and if so, what kind of technological vehicles do we haves?
 
There are vehicles but hunters do not have access to them during hunts. Personal vehicles arent a thing. There is just a good public transportation system

Updated the lore page with some pretty important yet also minor stuff. They might be important for your character sheet

I just noticed something else I can use for my character as the reason why he is how he is.


Is it okay if my character is partially-delusional as a side effect from the serum? Maybe he thinks that God really speaks to him because of this.

I have another question this time on veteran's sorry for being a pain.


Before you stated that for a veteran that 50 would be about the starting kill count depending on how experienced but it just occurred to me that it states that hunters are every Saturday and last twelve hours which had me thinking do hunters not always come out with a kill during a hunt. I mean lets say a hunter went on a hunt every Saturday for a year and came out with one kill in a year that's already 52 kills (or in 1972 case 53). I'm just going to take a guess and say a veteran hunter is someone with around 3 - 5 years experience so its a possible 156-260 kills for a veteran if he just got on kill per Saturday.


Once again sorry for being a pain your probably sorting things like this out I just like to have as much knowledge on things as possible.
 
@NekoChanBo Well you have to think, they've (Hunters) already thinned out the population of the monsters, most hunters qpuld ignore signs of a weaker beast and search for the buggest baddie they could find, and after fidty or so years, the monsters wpuld know what to look out for when the hunters are out ie, when and where to hide

Okay so thats a really good question. The starting kill count is more of an arbitrary number for the RP. 


The answer to your question however was partially answered by jumper. The hunts happen so often that the number of creatures has waned since the beginning, however they are still out in force. Hunters do have to take breaks from the hunts often as Serum is highly toxic and dangerous . 


The original number i gave of 50 was admittedly kinda small. A more accurate number for someone who has been hunting for a few years would be around 100

Hey @Ahara I finished most of my character I only need the history. And I'm sorry for any errors in it when it comes to spelling I rp only on Mobile and my phone is dumb when it comes to helping me make things better. Forgive me for those mistakes please
 
Were getting real close to starting so thats exciting . im going to post 2 character sheets myself soon. One will be a sort of antagonist so look out for that
 
@Ahara, can you give me a limitation on these mutations, because I had an idea for someone who's mutation stemmed from cancer cells, and his powers kinda go on the lines of Alex Mercer (just WAY underpowered compared to mercer, as mercer is just my concept)

Well id think you could do something like that. Maybe like blades and such extending from the arms

Yea, that's the direction I'm going for. See my character had cancer, and his mutation feeds off of that, but cancer feeds off the body....he is his own mutation, as a whole.

Okay so big news! The RP is going to be starting VERY soon, so if you don't have your character done I recommend getting it done. We will start without you if we have to. Also, I would like everyone to read the CS of Lazarus as he will be a sort of driving force in the story (kinda an antagonist) and he is relevant to the lore as well. If you read it please either comment or leave a like on it so I know that you are up to speed with who he is. 


We will be starting with a single post right before the next hunt starts so that we can all get right into the action. I am really excited for this and I hope you all are too.

Another thing I want to point out because I wasnt very clear about it. Most of a hunters kills would come from lower class monsters. It would be very unlikely that they are only killing the B and higher class monsters. They are highly uncommon

Also, for those unaware, I will be playing the two people who cover the hunts as well as my own characters.


These two will cover highlights, hunt statistics, audience and sponsorship numbers, as well as feature one up and coming hunter.
