Faine picked up Karma and moved the cat to the other side of them when they got splashed. To their knowledge, cats didnā€™t handle water well or most of them didnā€™t anyway. Faine couldā€™ve used a rune to shield them from the water. But they didnā€™t want to confuse Violet or the Cat about why they threw a ā€˜bombā€™and how it deflected water. They sighed now their hoodie was soaking wet and all they wanted to do now was fight the driver, but instead they suggested.

ā€œMaybe we should move away from the side of the road? Do you want some help and getting your stuff home?ā€

At this point, Faine was actually concerned about the girl. They usually donā€™t believe in stuff like ā€˜luckā€™ but crisis she was having a bad day it seemed like.
"I can figure it out. Dont want you getting more wet or step on a crack or have a flower pot fall on your head. better to have some kind of distance from me. " Violet said as she sighed this was normal for her. Karma meowed, licking Faine's hand before jumping out of her arms and over to Violet.

"Tell me, are you familiar with most of your fiance's works? What he was doing in the rest of the universe? He was gone for a while right?" She asked as suddenly a cup of coffee appeared in her hand.
"That said." Jace said. "I actually need to make a trip to Josh's world soon."

"I know bits and pieces he doesnt need to tell me everything " she said. "Want to find a place to sit so you can enjoy your coffee?"

ā€œok if you say soā€¦butā€¦ā€

they sighed they werenā€™t the most comfortable with leaving Violet alone. Then she remembered a rune that Vail believed to give good luckā€”Faine didnā€™t believe that though. On that day, Vail had volunteered to test out the new rune and was insistent on it. Eventually, Faine gave into their younger sister. According to Vail, they had a spectacular day that easily made her year. But Faine didnā€™t believe in luckā€¦but could it at least keep Violet safe? Faine sat on the ground and pulled out a notebook. Taking out their pen they drew the rune.

ā€˜If luck is real, I hope it gives her good luck. It seems like she needs it.ā€™

Luckily, they had filled the pen that morning. The pen took Faineā€™s blood as ink so it would probably creep Violet out if they cut into their skin and started drawing with the blood on the pavement in the middle of the street. The rune looked like a very sharp and pointy ribbon. They forcefully put the piece of paper in violetā€™s hands and activated it. The rune disappeared off the paper.

ā€œMaybe weā€™ll see each other later?ā€

To make it seem less weird, they did write their number down. If it did give her good luck, they hoped it lasted her awhile. Faine then petted Karma goodbye.

The arrow got blocked. "Hmm.." hunter said as she started thinking of a plan. Psyon had to have done sort of weakness.
"I hope so." Eris said as she was dodging the sharp fingers of the wraith. "She does a lot of stuff from a distance and uses others as shields. So if we can get to her, she might not be all that durable."

Violet watched as they written on the piece of paper. She was caught off guard when the paper was placed so forcefully in her hand. She smiled looking at the phone number. "I'm sure we will."
