Fantasy Cirque de Monstres (1941) first edition

((Alrighty. Gonna brainstorm a bit though seeing as he's still probably going to be in a trance. Could have him interact with Dakota, but can't really think of how.))

Nora looked at the smoke bellowing out of Fiona's trailer window. Nora knew that it meant that Fiona is busy. She sighed and decided to check on the newest arrival Dakota. She was angry at Paul for keeping the shape shifter locked in a cage all of the time. She understood keeping Dakota locked up when humans were around. She walked towards the cages checking on Banana and Anubis before heading to Dakota's cage. The shape shifter had changed into human form. Nora carefully approached Dakota's cage, taking down the sign Paul had put up.

"Hello Dakota, are you doing okay?"

(Oh and Nora's character sheet is on the same post as Paul's)

Ignis was able to get a few solid minutes of rest, but unfortunately, the trance Nora had put him in had made him absolutely obsessed with her. He began to toss and turn as his dreams only made him long for her even more and when he could not stand it anymore he slid out of bed and slipped on his clothes. Heading back out of the trailer and in search of her. It did not take him long to find her standing near Dakota's cage. "Nora!" His eyes lit up and he spoke enthusiastically as he approached them.

(I am so sorry. I wanted to post a while ago but the internet went crazy.)

They went inside the house of mirrors, thankful that they're back in the circus. "Thank goodness we're back. If Paul asks, just tell him we went on a date and lost track of time, okay?" He said, blushing as he said. He still can't believe that this is happening. Are they dating? Is she his girlfriend? All these thoughts run through his mind, but he pushed it all aside, for now. He had a much bigger problem for now. "Uh... I think we're lost." He said, finding no way out. All he could see are mirrors.

Luna sighed, pulling herself close to his face. She looked around and got out of his hands. She kept a hold of his hand and took a deep breath, taking the scarf off her head and letting her ears listened. She walked forwards and though a few other turns, before opening her eyes. "Close." She said, walking forward till she found people. "Crap." She muttered.

Nora turned around at the sound Ignis's voice.

Great, he is one the obsessed side of the line

She smiled, she had to keep the act up. If not there could be dire consequences. She remembered a man who's heart literally broke because she rejected him while he was under her charm. She didn't want to kill a fellow performer.

"Oh my love, shouldn't you be resting?"

She was worried and taking a note to remind Ignis to never make her do this again. She thought Paul was clingy, luckily he was not around to see this. She wished she knew a way to reverse the charm, unfortunately she wasn't a very powerful succubus. She also had no one to ask about reversing charms. Paul was just a run of the mill demon, and she wasn't in her home realm. She knew she was in for interesting few hours.

"I was my dear, but could not and longer because I grew too restless with you on my mind." He smiled sweetly. He was so love -struck and acting like a complete fool. Yet, at the same time, he was completely unaware that he was acting this way. "You were fighting back my nightmares and giving me such a wonderful rest that I just had to see you in flesh again and truly be with you." He gently lifted up her hand to kiss it.

He just froze. It was the detectives. "Shit, what are we gonna do?!" He frantically thought. The detectives seemed to be too busy looking at the mirrors to notice them. But still, any movements might alert them to their presence. If we get caught, suspicion might arose, Paul will surely get angry at them. First they sneak out to go to the city, now they were seen by the detectives. He needed to distract them, but he has no idea how. "What do we do?!" He quietly ask Luna.

Luna looked frantically from him to the investigators. "I don't know." She hissed, her face contorted into a grimace. Her mind whirled with thoughts on how to escape, but all of them would result in them getting busted.

Alan frowned at Sammy laughter not liking to be the bud of a joke, not since the disappearance. He wouldn't never admit it though in truth, her laughter lightened the mood abit for him whose worry only only intensified as the approached the mirrors.

"Yeah lets, hope you brought your ball of thread." He commented walking up the stairs to the maze, which was as was expected a hall of mirrors."This is someone idea of fun..."He went to ask were he noted two performers not far from them. They seemed to notice them."Evening."

"Oh darn, I only brought my knitting needles!"

She was trying to keep the cheery mood going when she spotted two performers.

"Oh, hello"

She was smiling until she smacked right into a mirror.

"Ow! I forgot how much I hate these mazes."

She rubbed her nose. She actually wished she brought someway to know the way back, this place looked disorientating. She really hoped that they didn't get lost.

"Oh, um, Hi!" He said, a little too enthusiastic. "Thank goodness they did not notice anything suspicious." He thought to himself, sighing in relief. "We were just, uh, admiring the maze." He explained, smiling at them. He squeezed Luna's hand, still a little nervous. "Do you know where the exit is? The two of us are hopelessly lost." He ask, wanting to just get out.

"Woops careful newbie. You ok?"He asked her feeling more concerned then he expected to. He tried quickly to hide his concern with a snarky comment."Maybe i should leave you behind and disappear like the others."He gave a quick glance to the two performers to garner their reaction of the statement.

Fiona didn't like to be disturbed when she was working. When Nora knocked, Fiona kept chanting, having to keep the spell going in order for it to work. She never would ignore anyone on purpose, but the potion had to be concentrated to a certain point so that it would knock her two large spiders out long enough to 'milk' them for her normal dosage of venom. "Yes, Nora?" She opened the door and Nora was gone. "Shit, I just ignored her again." Fiona searched for her friend. Upon seeing her, Fiona called her name. "Nora, you wanted to talk? Sorry, I should really pay more attention."

(I wasn't getting notifications)

Sammy was caught of guard by Alan's concern.

"I'm fine, I just need to watch for my reflection."

She looked at the male performer.

"There."

She pointed behind her where they just came from. She was curious as to how they would react to Alan's comment.

------------------------------------

Nora smiled at Ignis.

"Oh my love I am so sorry."

She grasped his hand a saw Fiona walk up to her.

"Oh, hello Fiona."

Finally she needed to talk to someone about what she did. She looked back at Ignis.

"My love, I must talk to Fiona about something. Can you make sure Dakota is alright."

She leaned in and kissed his cheek. She let go of his hand and walked towards Fiona.

"I need to talk to you somewhere else."

(That's okay!)

Luna pressed a tight smile. "Well if you leave us behind I would probably be able to find my way eventually." She said, holding back her fangs and her claws back from giving them some scars that would bring a world of hurt. She smiled again, squeezing Alekin's hand. She was trying to control herself in front of them.

Gods, what did I do now? When Nora wants to 'talk', it's normally not good. Fiona's eyes widened in shock. It was normally difficult to scare the spider, for spiders are normally on top, out of reach, but now was different. "Sure, N-Nora." Her fingers drummed nervously against her thigh, waiting for whatever punishment for whatever crime she committed this time. "It's not a problem." Two female demons, one being a succubus, not a good equation. "We'll talk...uh." Fiona was normally straight when she talked, but now was stuttering. "Where?"

Nora pointed to the sitting area behind the tent.

"There, I shouldn't go too far."

She was concerned about Ignis, he was losing sleep. She needed to get advice and Fiona was the only demon she could talk to. Paul would burn something down if he found out what she had done. She walked over to waiting area sat down burying her face in her hands.

"Oh god I created a monster."

She knew she messed up, she just hoped Fiona had an idea as to what to do.

Fiona let out a breath that she had been holding as she saw Nora hide her face in her hands. "Miss Nora, what's wrong?" She'd do anything to help her friend, even if she could be a little scary at times. Taking a seat next to Nora, Fiona placed a kind and motherly hand on the other's shoulder. "You can tell me anything and you know that it will only be between us." As she said this, her pale face whipped around, her ebony hair moving ever so slightly as she did. "Come now, dear, we're all alone. Tell me what's bothering you." Her voice softened.

He looked at Luna, seeing her about to lose control. "Thanks! Hope you enjoy the rest of the night!" Alekin said with a forced smile, walking towards the exit. "Don't worry, we're safe now." He told her, reassuring her. He sighed in relief, happy that they were not discovered. He looked at Luna and smile. Despite everything that happened, this is a good day. He brought Luna back to her trailer. "I just want to say that, uh, I had a really good time. I hope we can do this again next time." He said, blushing really hard. He really hope that there's a next time.

She was glad Fiona joined the circus. It was very nice especially at times like this. She looked at Fiona

"I seduced Ignis and now he is really obsessed with me."

She thought about Paul, really thought about what would happen if he found out.

"Oh god, if Paul finds out he will cut the ties! I will be sent back."

She didn't want to go back to the demon realm. Her parents would surely make her marry that weird incubus.

"You wouldn't happen to know of any spells to get rid of what I have done?"

She didn't think she could stand a few more hours of lovesick Ignis.
