Background
Single father Eloy Elmore decided it was better for his only child to grow up in a stable place, a place where people were able to give him the basics he needed and a roof above his head. He simply couldn't afford it and because he worked so much he wasn't able to take care of Zyler. Zyler was given away at the age of three to the local orphanage and from that moment he never saw his dad again. There used to be a mother figure in this picture but Olivia Elmore found a better life with another man in a city on the other side of the earth. She broke all the contact with both Eloy and the young baby Zyler. For the first two years Eloy tried to visite as much as he could but at one point he had to move because he finally got an opportunity for a job with decent earnings. Zyler didn't fully understand it all at that age and just went with the flow. Being raised in an orphanage in general isn't even that bad than you might expect it to be, but the fact that after years there hasn't been a family who thought it'd be nice to take care of you is horrible. Zyler knew it was partly his own fault. If he tried a little more to behave better people might consider it. He just didn't like being told what to do and how to behave, he felt like he couldn't be himself at all. However at one point he didn't really care anymore since he was close to being eighteen, and then you could go wherever you wanted to. So he started to do completely his own thing. Besides that he didn't even always mean to be rebellious, sometimes his curiosity took over.
Once he got out he didn't really have anything besides the small amount of money he got from savings and the orphanage, his skateboard and some clothes. The first thing he did was buying a small apartment for himself in the suburbs. A roof above your head is one of the important things, together with food. Now you probably can guess what he did next. Back to the point- for a living Zyler thought it was fun to organize local parties together with some friends. Rules? Not at their parties. Through this he also got involved into the whole drug scene which also made a good amount of money to live of. It all happens under the ground in the empty space of old storage rooms. Zyler films almost everything that happens because he thinks that video's are also a way of art. And so he has something to look back at when he's older. A little bit inside of him hopes his parents recognize him and might even get in touch.
