    Powers:


    They Shall not Hide: Like a shark to blood, Zone has a particular affinity for fear - half smell-taste, half absorbed aura, it comes to him naturally, and in plenty. Like blood, it has flavors, and like a connoisseur of fine wine, Zone knows the differences: while two fears might drive a mortal to murder, there is a vast difference between the fear for self-survival, and the fear of failure to achieve glory. Mortals extrude fear, and for many demons, the same can be said; Zone smells all fear as it comes, without inhibition: through walls, past gates, and in darkest night. He can track by type of fear - if he knows just what his quarry is afraid of, it's short matter for him to find it. The trick, of course, is figuring that out, and making that unique enough to distinguish against the terror-strewn landscape that is Hell.


    What is Rightfully Mine: For every slash of his claws or slice of his fins, Zone takes his due: damage done comes back to him in restoration. For every foe he completely obliterates, he takes their strength and their essence permanently: won by rite of force, now in ownership of one who truly deserves it.


    I Am Made Whole: Zone shares a mental link with his ship, issuing commands and gaining knowledge as if they were one.


    Appearance: Zone is at his heart a demon of Wrath, and his general shape reflects this. In stature alone he is huge, standing as tall as his stature will allow, as broad as three demons and certainly as heavy as seven. In shape he is fierce: a fire-drake wed with the shark of the sea: snout bristling with razor-sharp teeth, hands ending in wicked, ever-sharp claws, and long, cruel fins equally suited for slicing flesh as for cleaving the sea. He sears with the heat of rage – but his rage burns not red, but blue, a deep, subtle shade sparkled with orange streaks, which dance across his ashen scales. From his nostrils pour a constant boiling steam, which quickly cools into a creeping, chilly fog, shrouding the captain from head to foot. Zone does not bother with the trappings of soft sophisticates, and his captain's coat has long grown ragged with the wounds of battle.


    Estate: Zone rides to battle aboard his flagship, Through Mirrors Darkly. The ship is constantly in motion: a writhing mass of jagged metal plates bound by the ship's cold heart of rage. Weapons slide through solid walls to engage the foe, and then back again as soon as it is done, and damage to the hull is quickly repaired as damaged plates cycle out for new ones. Most notable is the ship's ability to consume fallen foes; Zone splits his catch with his vessel, allowing it to consume the enemy's estate to grow in power and scope.


    A Brief Bio: There was a time when Zone meant something else. Something refined, polished, something clad in gold and set with diamonds, glittering from an armchair's comfort. An admiral, whom by name alone demanded respect from all who knew the name, and even then, from those who did not.


    But time has moved on from that name. The name of Zone is a name of a cold, unrelenting fury, born from the fires of rage, and tempered by the cold, cold seas that he now patrols. After disappearing from the radar completely, Zone has returned, and in full arms: his trappings gone, he devotes himself to what he has left, the pure fury of a scorned captain. Sailing with relentlessness rage, he has swept through a vast swath of coast, waking old memories to fear the name of Zone, although this time, doing the destruction himself.


    The path to revenge has not been easy: countless enemies have risen, including Zone's current arch-nemesis, Zaleus; the Count of Envy has proved able to evade Zone's battle rage and yet still strike from the murky depths.


    When not ripping things to shreds and bashing in skulls, demon or otherwise, Zone keeps to himself, skulking in his cabin, or floating in and out of established settlements, drinking and plotting. In the privacy of his personal quarters, he creates grand reenactments of his favourite engagements, demonic or mortal, and tests new strategies of fleet and troop arrangement.


    Beyond his cabin, however, he can find little comfort. What nobility still honor his achievement he occasionally visits, but only for a night or two.

    Domain Wealth: While Through Mirrors Darkly does often have valuables in the hold, it has little value for the rest of Hell's denizens, except, perhaps as a place of refuge - a contract with Zone is enough to dissuade most casual threats.


    Short-Term Goal: Know the fears of Zaleus


    Long-Term Goal: Destroy all who stand in his way to restoration


    Fun facts: Zone once tried to write a book, a critique of naval tactics employed in both demonic and mortal wars, but was foiled after every attempt to etch a symbol resulted in a broken pen and an ink spill. He only gave up after subsequent tries to rip the symbols into the page cost him several hundred scrolls, and subsequently fed them to Through Mirrors Darkly, which occasionally spits them back up with the damage repaired. Zone has long lost interest in any further developments, however.

A multi-armed mechanical pilot, with a beating heart of mercury exposed in his glassy chest, a human face stretched in a grisly mask across his silver skull.

Appearance:


Lurid seems to be little more than a heavy, mobile cloak - there might be a body under there, maybe. Sometimes he reflects the face of someone to whom he is speaking, deep under the hood.
 
I have a question: Through Mirrors Darkly is a Wrath Domain but because it is a ship it does venture into the Envy domain? Or does it just hug the coast of Wrath and not venture much into the Seas of Envy?

It's a Wrath Domain which can venture into the Bitter Sea, but only in brief jaunts before the Sea begins to corrode it. It can also concert small areas of Envy to Wrath, as outposts. Of course, there's always an Envious ship doing the same somewhere else...


All things balance out, in the end.
