Bio: Aiden did a short stint in the US Army as mechanic rising into ranks as an engineer. During this time he did only the bare minimum of weapons training, barely remaining qualified. After 8 years in the military he went to a few years of college he ended up in MIT learning advanced mechanics, electrical engineering, and beginning to break ground in robotics. When the world went to hell he was working on an experimental power suit for a private contractor.


Current: Currently he does mechanic work for whoever can help him out. Often running with one or another group in exchange for gas and security. He currently runs a small pickup with a couple gas cans in a locked cage in the back, a duffel bag of close to every mechanic and electrical tool he can find, and on a small trailer he carries a small generator and a welding torch he uses to add or remove trailer hitches as needed. He uses the generator to trade services for food and what gas he can find. He also carries a long siphon hose with a filter so he can reach into the gas station storage tanks directly.


Currently he carries 3 different rifles with a few rounds for each, 2 pistols, one with a partial clip and one with almost 2 clips, a hand crafted machete, and a battleaxe made from steel pipe welded to some thick, sharpened sheet metal.

Jolf is what most would refer to as a gentle giant. While being much large and stronger than most he rarely uses his strength to his own advantage. He will treat others with respect, even if they don't deserve it. Jolf is a quite man but not anti social, preferring companions to being alone. Once you have proven yourself as being a good person Jolf will typically accept you as a friend, even if he doesn't particularly like you. Once Jolf recognizes you as a friend it will pretty much stay that way, unless you do something horribly bad.


Being ex-military Jolf has a respect for authority and has no problem following orders. Although he is guided by an inner moral compass and will not do anything overly evil. Jolf has an inclination to protect and help others, especially the weak. He will put his own life at risk to help others without a second thought. All in all, some would say Jolf is the kind of person the world needs more of. Especially in these dark times...


Background/History


Jolf was born to a family of Swedish immigrants. They were poor and Jolf learned to be content with what little they had. Despite being poor Jolf lived a relatively happy childhood. The neighborhood they grew up in was filled with other Scandinavian immigrants and was for the most part safe. The school he went to was small but relatively nice. It had books for each student, good teachers and school lunches that were at least edible. Unfortunately Jolf wasn't the smartest of kids and struggled in areas such as math and advanced sciences.


When he graduated high school he enlisted in the military, wanting something better for himself than working at a Burger King. Despite the brutality of boot camp and the near constant orders, Jolf actually enjoyed his life in the military. He made quite a few friends and was recognized as his barracks top wrestler- not that anyone else stood much of a chance. As a marksman Jolf was pretty good as well, but not the best.


Jolf had stayed with the military for 8 years, marrying a girl back in his home town and getting ready to have a son, when the outbreak began. At that time it was believed the virus spread through the air and so the military simply blockaded the infected areas. They were in for a shock were hordes the the undead came charging from the streets. Their bulky hazmat suits e them from fighting well in close quarters and the blockades were over run. Jolf's squad survived the initial failure and kept on fighting. He and his squad were one of the last few squads remaining towards the fall and actually kept in fighting even when the rest of the government fell. Sadly all things must come to an end


. In an effort to save the people of Jolf's own home town his squad was killed, by Jolf's own family. Devastated, Jolf set put on his own, traveling the countryside an empty shell of a man. But he wouldn't st down forever. In honor of his squad and his family he shoved his sadness aside and set out with a new mission, to save as many people as he can.

  General Background: The day the Alex found out she was pregnant was the day that the outbreak had become a national pandemic. Her parents were initially disappointed in her, believing that she had thrown away her future. Although the pregnancy wasn’t intentional, both her and Bradley were happy. Their excitement was quickly interrupted by infected filling the streets, people screaming and crying, all out chaos in a matter of moments. Alex and her parents packed up and left in their car followed by Bradley and his family. The following days were the worst days of her life. Every town that they drove through was just as bad, if not worst that their own.
  
  
  Their lives consisted of raiding empty convenience stores and driving from town to town for about two weeks until they came across a settlement that had been formed following the outbreak. The people that had founded the settlement were kind but cautious of them. After they explained the situation, the settlement founders gladly accepted the extra help. For a few weeks, everything was okay.
  
  
  One day, the founder of the settlement let in a couple that claimed they were out of food and water. As soon as they opened their makeshift gate, a group of bandits rushed them and forced their way in. The bandits shot anyone that even carried a weapon, leaving everyone in the settlement defenseless. Alex hid until the settlement was silent again. When she left her hiding spot, she found everyone she knew dead and the settlement completely raided. She knew she couldn’t stay there and just hope for the best. Oh, and another thing: whenever he's out and about, he wears a blue checkered scarf around the lower part of his face.

Before the outbrake, Chris was a S.W.A.T officer. His life followed a strict pattern and liked it that way: eat, sleep, train, work. Because of this schedule, Chris didn't have lots of time to socialize, causing him to be awkward in most social situations.
