Personality: Yuriko can be an incredibly intense person to be around. She believes that idleness is the worst crime a person can commit, even then she is very unwilling to take the role of a leader. This means that while very hard working and impressively skilled, she also has a tendency towards harshness barely hidden under her aristocratic manners, although a kenjutsuka it would be very rare that she recur to physical intimidation, instead she prefer words or sometimes only a glance. Despite this, she responds well to earnestness. She is always willing to help people who are putting in an effort, and she will typically do so with a great deal of compassion.
Bio: Yuriko was born in the Miyamoto family, a family that has practiced kenjutsu since long time ago and is descendant of samurais, as such she received a strict education and her family set high expectations on her, and indeed she is now an excellent student, president of her classroom, and even relatively popular and relatively hated/mocked (particularly by her female schoolmates). However, although when it comes to kenjutsu she is pretty average, always at the shadow of her older brother who is an outstanding kenjutsuka. Although both get along, in her first year in her new school she decided she had enough of being shadowed by her brother and instead of joining the kenjutsu or kendo club, she choose the voleyball club after all, she had done some voleyball in elementary school. Though she lies to her family telling her that she can't join to the kenjutsu club due to her school duties.
Position: Outside hitter (left wing spiker)
Skills: Physical resistance, good jumps, speed, capable to remain calm and logical in stressful situations
Unique Skill: As a former kenjutsu practitioner she is able to "read" the footwork which gave her an advantage on the field
