Backstory:
The Blue Knight was the largest death to all exorcist, pastors, priests, and monks recorded, but the slaughtering had begun quite some time ago. Almost three hundred years ago a temple in Southern Russia was attacked by a swarm of high level demons, each wielding a dark light and a hatred that could only be fueled on by a Demon King. They broke the church's defenses and slaughtered everyone there. The church was a large, old, and respected cathedral sitting on top of hill to overlook he many towns it cared for. The Father was known by all, but forgotten shortly after the massacre. Soon the towns reverted back to their pagan gods, and the cathedral was left in tatters. The priest, their faiths, and their jobs as exorcist were left on that hill; the towns would later suffer for those choices.
Now on top of that same hill lives the rich noble family of the Walkowiak's, the aristocratic landlords of all the towns under the hill. The family was small, just the parents and one boy, but their jurisdiction and abilities passed the President's in this rural area. Thus they were the King and Queen of this land, and had no reason to care about demolishing an old church they had inherited from their deceased great grandfather. All of the old candles, pews, and panes would be modeled into their home; all the artifacts boxed away for resale some later day. It was when their boy began claiming to see demons did the parents acknowledge their mistake. The great grandfather had been thrown away by the towns, and now it's own family, and thus inflicted pain upon it. Demons spread throughout the area, and once again the hill overlooking the town was cursed and forgotten by all.
Their son, Yuri, was left to face the demons by himself. Parents that were too busy will financial issues, masters who would only teach him studies and how to perform as a gentleman, and servants who could only hope to keep their job by trying to encourage him. Yuri was left alone from his parents until he turned eight, an age when the child began to explore. The demons could not affect him as much now that he had grown a will of his own, but that wasn't enough for Yuri. He searched for the artifacts from the church, hoping something holy could rid him of his demons. It was his great grandfather's writing that taught the boy about exorcism, the rites to perform, and the weapons to use. A glowing sword, a very old gun, and many tomes of verses would help Yuri.
By having his parents hire him many teachers, from sword masters to firearm experts as well as an exorcist, Yuri began to learn in secret of the life that would mold him. The sword masters left as early as they came, saying the boy was progressing quickly on his own. The firearm experts insisted on newer models of guns, but Yuri would start with his great grandfather's and work from their. And finally the exorcist taught him verses, but also told him of his temptaint gained by living on this hill. The exorcist warned about the dangers of starting this path, but Yuri was set on it. Soon the demons were no more in the town, having been killed by many called 'The Old Warrior'; mostly on part to his rustic weaponry.
By age fifteen Yuri was ready to leave his house, both skills as a noble and exorcist ready to take him to True Cross Academy. Their Yuri completed his classes with ease, becoming an Exorcist at age of twenty, and a thirst to teach bringing him back after six years in the field.
