《 Strengths 》
As most of the Akatsuki members, Heizei has a huge amount of chakra and is an adept on his own field, specializing in using Ninjutsu, in the form of his Kekkei Genkai or not, and Fuinjutsu while also being capable of using Kenjutsu to A a certain extent, mostly depending solely on technique as his body is exceedingly weak. He's a capable weapon user with an exceedingly sharp accuracy, especially if using senbons, sharp senses and, as most of the members and ex-members of the hunter-nins, excessively detailed knowledge about human anatomy and the capacity of hiding his presence to a certain extent.
He's also known to be able to use the special barrier ninjutsu of the hunter-nins meant to preservate body parts.
《 Weaknesses 》
Heizei's main weakness comes in the form of his ridiculously weak physical attributes, as his body is weak since his birth. The result of this fact is a pitiful lack of capacity when it comes to close-combat as well as a lower stamina and defense capacity. He's also excessively mild for a Nukkenin and appears to be reluctant in fight against women and children, contradicting his reputation as a ruthless killer, and generally refuses to act offensively without a proper order or a valid reason, often choosing to flee if forced into a confrontation.

- The Akatsuki ring in his possession is the one with the character "White" (白, byaku, haku), formerly wore by Konan.
- He often carries a parasol to shield himself from the sun, as his naturally delicate body can be easily affected by sunburns if exposed to the sun for a period longer than a few minutes. During fights, he often used the Hidden Mist Technique to substitute this object in shielding him from the sunlight.
- He's often regarded as excessively innocent for his age, havinghavin no experience when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex and easily getting embarrassed when teased. Coupled with naturally quiet nature, this often makes him look exceedingly shy.
- In contradiction to his gentle nature, Heizei can be easily regarded as one of the most dangerous akatsuki members because of his capacity of following orders, as he appears to be able of instantly turning apathetic, sealing away his personal feelings and opinions for the sake of completing his assignments.
- The reason for his banishment is known to be related to his research of forbidden techniques related to seals.
