distinguishing features: he'd say that his eyes are one of his features that stand out the most, since he thinks that they're pretty expressive.
style: baekwoo's style lies at two ends of a wide spectrum. the part of his wardrobe that he frequents most often is mostly monochromatic, a mix of blacks,
whites, grays, and beiges. these usually come in the form of baggy sweatshirts, sweatpants, or skinny jeans. however, on the brighter side of his wardrobe,
baekwoo sometimes frequents brighter colors, most often reds or purples, and usually in the form of t-shirts and tank tops.
personality: when one first meets baekwoo, it is easy to see that he is a friendly person. while he's not extremely extroverted, he's not avoidant or shy around
people, especially the other members of his group. he's one of the oldest members of the group, so he has tendencies to act somewhat maternal towards the
younger members. although he's generally a kind person, he has blunt tendencies, and often says things in a ruder way than what would be beneficial,
especially when he's tired. despite his blunt tendencies, he's quite sensitive himself, and his mood can easily change by what others could consider
offhand remarks. however, around friends, he's usually able to keep up a bright attitude like he wants to. to note some other little things, baekwoo is someone
who is easily surprised, scared, and startled. he wouldn't call himself a coward, but he's certainly a bit jumpy. when it comes to other people's intentions,
baekwoo has a habit of being a bit oblivious, especially when it comes to flirting and things like that. along with that, he has tendencies to be a bit gullible,
which is a trait that often embarrasses him.
background: on july 5th, 1994, na baekwoo was born to a loving mother in the heart of seoul. his mother was a single mom, her ex-boyfriend having broken
up with her when she broke the news that she was pregnant with baekwoo. while she certainly wasn't happy about that fact, her job was able to keep the two
more than afloat, even if her long hours limited interaction time between them. young baekwoo often did not care about this though, as moments with his mom
certainly outweighed the times where he was lonely. in fact, the loneliness was fixed altogether when he found his passion for dancing at 7. his mother signed
him up for a dance class for his birthday, and he never looked back since. he knew this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. well, he didn't know that
exactly at 7, but you probably understand.
the prospect of becoming an idol came up at 16, and baekwoo was immediately interested. he had never really found a good way to fully incorporate
dancing into his life after he graduated, and this seemed like a certainly viable option. it was a given that his classmates would make fun of him for the
decision, but he was determined. his mother had no objection to the decision, wanting nothing but happiness for her child. that summer, he began
to work even harder on his dancing, spending nearly all of his time at the studio. he was so focused on being able to qualify for an audition that he
was completely surprised when a company came to him. he was scouted by limitless entertainment that august to be put in their upcoming boy group, aa1.
he trained during summers and school breaks until he graduated from high school in 2013, and he's been training full time since then. after 6 years of
endless waiting and preparing, he's all too ready to get out there and show the idol world what he's really got.
dislikes: being called old, rapping, coffee, loud noises, bugs, waking up, bad jokes, birds, bitter things, being bored
habits: rolling his eyes, humming, cracking his knuckles
fears: spiders, heights, failure, small spaces
how is your character woken up?: if you have to, cold water works best, even if he'll want to kill you for it. that or earthshakingly loud music, or just
waiting until he drags himself out of bed on his own.
how easily is your character woken up?: trying to wake up baekwoo is like getting a rock to do a backflip, impossible. baekwoo sleeps like he's dead, so
it's usually best to leave him for his body's clock to wake him up.
what is your character's favorite food?: ramen has been a staple in baekwoo's diet for years. it's one of the only things he knows how to cook, and he
probably eats it more than would be healthily sound.
what is your character's least favorite food?: baekwoo absolutely despises anything that's remotely bitter. some examples are things like coffee, licorice,
dark chocolate, or spinach.
how easily is your character frustrated?: not as often as one would expect. while he likes to pretend to be upset about petty things, it's rare that he gets
upset over anything that's not too big.
does your character get upset during practice is they can't get it perfectly?: it depends on how long he's been working on it. of course, it's obvious
that he won't get it perfect on the first day or two, but if it takes him an uncharacteristically long time, then yes, he will get upset at himself. he usually tries
to not let it out on other people though.
