Appearance: Teagan is built like a scarecrow, all limbs and wild hair. He keeps his curly brown hair shaggy and unkempt, and usually has either some scruff or a slight beard which accentuates his sharp jawline and high cheekbones. His teeth are crooked but he says it gives his face character.

Clothing Style: Teagan dresses like he's been dumpster diving behind a Party City. All of his clothes come from friends or thrift stores and as a result he has an eclectic style. Most people describe him as 'over the top' and it's true- he likes faux fur coats, torn leggings and jeans, denim jackets covered in patches, repurposed dresses, velvet skirts, mesh tank tops, thigh high boots and combat boots, hats and scarves and gloves and bright colors and floral prints. He wears make-up fairly regularly. On a casual day it would just be a bit of mascara, maybe some eye make-up and lipstick. If he's going out, it's way too much of everything and probably some facepaint or glitter smeared on for effect.
Personality:
+Confident: Teagan loves himself. Some people might call him arrogant but Teagan is just aware of how much fun he is. Sure, he has his flaws but he's not ashamed of them. Teagan is always willing to dive headfirst into anything.
+Independent: While he loves being around people, he doesn't need them for anything besides entertainment. Anything he needs he can get for himself.
+Creative: His mind moves a mile a minute and he's always trying to push the boundaries of what he can do.
+Affectionate: Teagan is a cuddler. And a kisser. And a few other things. But he just loves other people and while he might not be the best person to talk to, he's your guy if you need a hug.
+Adaptable: Teagan can take care of himself anywhere. His outgoing nature and resourceful attitude means he's never without friends, food, or a place to sleep. And he's more than willing to adopt a new attitude to get any of those things.
-Flighty/Flippant: He can't take anything seriously. Or he could if he wanted to, but he doesn't want to. And he's easily bored so he always has one foot out the door. Even if something's good, he's always looking for something better.
-Unempathetic: Teagan has a hard time understanding other people's emotions. He's happy 80% of the time so he doesn't really get sadness and when he's upset he just flies off the handle and refuses to look at the situation from anyone else's perspective.
-Blunt: As a result of his lack of empathy, Teagan is kind of rude. He just says whatever he's thinking and often doesn't realize when he's upset someone.
-Self destructive: Teagan likes a good time and refuses to acknowledge that there's such a thing as too much of a good thing. As a result he tends to do everything to excess- drinking, drugs, sex, you name it, Teagan is probably overdoing it. He doesn't have limits as far as he's concerned, but it's not uncommon to see him passed out or find him the next morning with no memory of where he's been.

History:
Teagan is the only child of Deb Byron and John Arman, possibly the least compatible people in the world. They met when Deb was studying abroad in Ireland where John lived and had a whirlwind romance. When Deb finished school and was supposed to move back home, John proposed so she could stay with him. She happily accepted and slightly less than nine months after the wedding Teagan was born. The first five years of Teagan's life were pretty great. His parents were in love and they lived just outside of Dublin, so Teagan spent most of his time running around behaving like a wild animal. He was five when his dad found out his mom was cheating on him. What followed was a very messy divorce and when Teagan was six, him and his mom moved back to America.
Deb never remarried and instead has spent the past fifteen years bouncing from boyfriend to boyfriend, and at one point to a girlfriend, which opened a lot of doors for Teagan. She's actually a pretty great mom- she supports Teagan no matter what and they're rather close. Meanwhile, John was heartbroken and has spent his time since the divorce drinking and wallowing. Every time Teagan would visit, his dad would end up crying about how much he missed his mom. After watching how happy his mom was and how miserable his dad was, Teagan decided love wasn't worth it.
As a result, Teagan's never been in a serious relationship. He's been dating since he was a teenager but nothing's every lasted more than a couple months. And thanks to her own lack views, Deb was more than fine with Teagan's revolving door of partners. She may have given him a bit too much freedom since Teagan started partying in high school and hasn't really stopped since. He barely graduated and opted out of college to move in with his bandmates. They've had some success locally but most of Teagan's money comes from the shitty coffee shop he works at. He's rather proud of himself for avoiding a real relationship. It's not that he doesn't believe in love. He thinks it sounds alright, but messing around is just so much more fun. He loves his friends but any form of romantic love sends him running.
