Nanashi currently lives with her older cousin, Mikado Aisaka, in Yokohama, Japan, one of the few cities in the country that hadn't quite reverted back to it's feudal times. According to her cousin, Nanashi is an extremely intelligent young woman, surpassing most people her age and even beyond, specializing in the field of science and technology. However, she is incredibly reluctant to leave the home she shares with Mikado, and has been ever since her fellow students had told her that she should just disappear from her lives, becoming what is known as a shut-in.
Growing up, Nanashi has always been known as the odd one in the bunch. Even as a child, she was already quite well-learned and highly reclusive, and this caused many of the children her age to feel jealous of her capabilities, causing them to think that her antisocial traits was her way of looking down on them. They had begun to bully her, calling her horrible nicknames and giving her a new injury everyday. Nanashi only took it into stride, however, with a happy-go-lucky smile, saying that if it would make them feel better, she would gladly become a punching bag, but that only added fuel to the fire. That was a mindset that Nanashi still has today. As her cousin had once stated, "She's a very reclusive and altruistic young woman. Quite kind and friendly as well. However, even if she's nice to others, she's pretty harsh with herself and puts herself down often."

- Suji No Sekai - While not exactly a power, Nanashi has the habit of seeing the world in numbers, which allows her to better understand the things around her.
Equipment:
- Usagi No Mimi - A pair of black and pink robotic rabbit ears that can act as antennas to allow for long-ranged communication. They can also be used to listen in on the conversations of others.
- Sakushi Gamen - A holographic computer she carries along with her at all times built into a small, white, pink and black metal ball, even if she doesn't actually go anywhere outside of her home.
- Tool Kit - Nanashi has a small tool kit she keeps in a pocket on her parka, for cases of boredom where she wants to mess with some of the gadgets at home.
Weaknesses:
- Social Skills - Not having had much human contact with anyone aside from her cousin, Mikado, Nanashi's social skills are lacking, which is quite the understatement.
- Altruism - Nanashi's willingness to assist others at the cost of her own well-being will be the death of her someday.
- Physical Capabilities - While Nanashi's intelligence knows no bounds, her body certainly does. If somebody were to describe the level of strength she had, it would most certainly be "weak".
