are mermaids real?
i often dream about being underwater, although, rarely in the same body of water. sometimes it's a lake, river, and different seas. sometimes i'm trapped by a shallow pool, not wanting to breach the waters surface despite the sandy floor being to my back. i never have a fish tail; it seems my sleeping mind can't comprehend not having legs.
considering that some evolution workings say that we we crawled out of the sea, there's the possibility that there is a relative still in there, i think. though, i don't necessarily think they look similar to us.
