I plan on buying this game for the Wii...soon (it's so expensive ugh)

For anyone who's played it, is it worth it?

It's definitely worth it. I might be a little biased seeing as how it's my favorite game of all time, but if you like RPGs, I highly recommend it.

Also, Amazon has the game for about $50, although it's the international version with a slightly different case by the looks of it. It should work in a North American Wii/Wii U (Assuming that's what you have, since I know the game is easier to find outside North America), so if you don't mind not having a copy that might look a little different, that's a good route to take. The game takes 80 hours to complete (With minimal sidequest completion), so it's definitely worth the money as well.

@Face Nemesis

Yas I'm in love with RPGs. I've only just recently bought the Wii (regular, now Wii U) and played The Last Story. Now, I kinda want more rpgs (for wii). I've read great reviews for it, but was a bit skeptical because, well, it takes a lot of time to beat. Also, heard there's a lot of grinding involved in it? However, if the game is really plot driven (I love a good plot and complex characters), then I won't really mind the grinding THAT much. How's the soundtrack in the game? Music is one of the things that really get me into games.

You'll probably have to do some grinding, but if you do sidequests along the way, you shouldn't have to do a whole lot of it. The story also does help to move things along as well, and I thought it was very well paced. As for the soundtrack, it's definitely my favorite soundtrack in a game. There's a lot of variety in the soundtrack, from slower piano pieces to fast-paced rock music and a lot more between those, so there's bound to be something you'd like there.

I got the game! Haha. It was originally like $60 something here but I only payed $30 c; Yay for Gamestop giftcard! Anyways, I like the game so far! I've actually found myself enjoying the sidequests and been doing quite a few. I'm at the part where Reyn is being punished and has to go to some cave place with Shulk. I'm lvl 9 xD

@Face Nemesis
Ah yes Captain Iron'stache in all his glory

I'm on my way to Colony 6, in pursuit of saving Juju and Gadolt (if he's even alive)? Shulk just had the vision. How far am I into the story, w/o spoiling anything? xD

It's probably closer to 15-20% through the game, if you ask me. You've still got a lot ahead of you, but it's worth the long journey.

Ok so yea, I was slightly off the mark. But that game is really fun, same as nemesis said, deffo worth it.

I'm like, the exact level Xord is. Should I grind? Cause he kicked my butt real quick... :/ I remember with a previous boss, I was a few levels under but won using a diff strategy

Okay I'm now 2 levels higher than it. Ugh, idk... I can't seem to even form a chain b/c as I'm fighting the minions, boss usually kills me in some way...

Xord is definitely one of the tougher bosses in the game. Have you been leveling up your Arts along the way? If not, that might help. I don't remember my exact strategy, otherwise I'd tell you that.
