Backstory: After a very fortunate and loved childhood, Xander had made a name for himself in the Marines. However, he was too angry and reckless for his squadron, and often picked fights with his peers, no matter the rank, granting him a Dishonorable Discharge after 5 years of being in the military. Soon after, Xander had gone through an anger management course at the request of his serious girlfriend, of whom he would marry at the age of 27. After passing the anger management course, getting married, and putting a baby in his wife's tummy (Dear lord that's weird sounding), superheroes have started to pop up more and more in the world, making strange occurrences happen just as frequently... Like a random person getting the powers of absorption for no reason known to Xander. But someone knows, and Xander wants to find out who and why... Years later, his wife, Lauren, and daughter, Jess, were in a car with him, and before he knew what had happened, his body became metal and his wife was on the street, burning and bleeding. Jess was no where to be seen. After that, much was blank for Xander, he had escaped every hospital before they could manage to figure him out, and ran, as far and as fast as he could, looking for Jess. But what he didn't know, was that his brother, who he had no contact with, took in Jess. His brother thought he was dead, and Xander had no idea. Xander realised he needed some way to survive, learning more about what he could do, and how he could use it. Eventually becoming a drifter, Xander has learned many little things about many different things, becoming a knowledgeable man. He stays at a job for a few weeks, and leaves, however he never changes his last name, because he is proud of his family and always wants to remember them with all of his heart.

**Romantic Interest: What kind of a sick joke
Personality: Xander, a gentle giant with a growing anger in the pit of his stomach, one that he just wishes to let out, but he knows better. He appreciates the quiet, but loves being around people he becomes friends with for the month, either at the bar, or at a shooting range, it doesn't matter to him. However his moral code is very... Peculiar. He goes with his gut feeling on everything, but sometimes his gut tells him that that bank robber definitely deserved to gutted like a fish after shooting two civilians. He can easily be swayed to either side of the Force with any guidance, however his hard head can make it difficult.
Powers: Y'all know Absorbing Man from Marvel? Good that's Xander's powers. If he makes contact with any solid material, he can changes the atomic structure of his body to mimic that material. If he touches diamond, he becomes diamond. Now something he had to hone his powers on, was making weapons out of the material. If he is still holding on to a certain material that covers his body, he can expend just a few more moments to grow a form of weapon that extends from his body, sword from his wrist, or something along those lines. He cannot move when absorbing the material, and the more dense a material is, the more difficult it is to not absorb the actual material. So if he grabs onto a diamond, he will actually get rid of the diamond when he absorbs it. Aside from absorption, he has gained enhanced physical capabilities, able to lift cars with little to average effort. Yes he can throw VW Bugs. He can run faster than the average Olympian, and endure getting hit by a train with just a few broken bones.
