Explanation for Stats

All stats are ranked on a scale E-D-C-B-A-S-SS-SSS-X

  • Strength- The total amount of power the character can put behind attacks and actions, along with lifting power and stamina. Certain weapons require a level of strength to use properly.
  • Dexterity- Domain over speed, athletic ability, and all things finesse. For more exotic weapons this stat will need to be raised to access it. Certain movements options become less difficult the higher this stat is raised.
  • Constitution- Characterizes the amount of life force contained within a being, allowing them to take more damage and fight longer. Effects debuffs like poison and drowsy.
  • Intelligence- The stat that focuses on how quick your character can learn new spells and abilities from research, as well as raising the ability to resist certain magical attacks by others.
  • Wisdom- Defines how fast your character can learn more martial and physical skills from experience and training. Higher levels can unlock Divine Ranking levels and help unlock certain class requirements.
  • Charisma- How well your character is received by those around them. Certain NPC's will not talk to someone of low charisma, and prices in shops will fluctuate depending on this stats level.
  • Divine Ranking- How close your character is to becoming a defining force of the world itself. Matters in regards to certain classes.
Skills

The collection of skills and abilities picked up through your characters class and adventures. Includes everything from lock picking to special attacks.

Spells

Remnants of the gods power summoned by mortals and monsters in this age. Needs to be studied and drains a reservoir of power within the character that refills over time or with aid of a potion.

Divine Construct

A top tier weapon either crafted by a player or found by defeating a Void level monster. Gifted by the guild as a bonus for joining. Each one contains a unique ability or one use skill that effects the player in different ways until they reach a high enough level and class to properly use it. Like a staff that allows one to cast a X level spell, but seals the players ability to cast magic for a full 24 hour period afterward, or a sword that does massive damage but cuts back at the unworthy.

Information on basic races

All players start with access to a set number of races, new ones of which can be unlocked through quests, spells, items, or other arcane means.

  • Human- Starts with one stat raised two grades, or two stats raised one grade.
  • Elf- Starts with a rank up in intelligence and wisdom
  • Dwarf- Stats with a rank up in Constitution and Strength
  • Orc- Stats with two rank ups in strength
  • Halflings- Stats with a rank up in Dexterity and Intelligence
  • Godlings- Children of divine blood, start with E rank in Divine Ranking and a rank up in any other skill.
Information on classes

Your characters starting profession, decides a number of skills and some stats, along with early progression into more basic levels of advanced classes. All classes start with one basic weapon they have a skill level for.

  • Soldier- Starting frontline fighter. One rank up in Strength and Constitution. Skills: Martial weapons (E), Defender (E), Repair (E), Weapon Rush (E).
  • Scholar- Starting magic based class. One rank up in Intelligence and Wisdom. Unlocks Skills: Staves (E), Magical Research (E), Spellcraft (E). Unlocks Spells: Dancing lights (E), Wizard Blast (E), and Element Blast (E).
  • Healer- Starting Healing class. One rank up in Wisdom and Constitution. Unlocks Skills: Healing (E), Treatment (E), Staves (E). Unlocks Spells: Word of Healing (E), Mass Word of Healing (E), and Bless (E).
  • Ranger- Ranged fighting class. One rank up in Dexterity and Intelligence. Unlocks Skills: Ranged Weapon (E), Nature Lore (E), Animal control (E). Spells unlocked: Bind animal (E)

Each class can evolve differently based on play, items gathered, and player choices. A fighter could evolve into a shield master or a damage dealer. A scholar could become a single target or multitarget attack. Or players could advance into a race that takes up both class and race slots.
