Think back to a simpler time, back when humans first saw the light of technology, now live in that time.
Howe, a small village only a few days trip to the capital of this fair land know as Gallaway, this is the stage for our tragic play. The setting, the 1750s, in a world much like our own. The actors, two young mages, the last of there kind; forced to play the part that no one else wanted.
You will take the role of one of the mages who live in this small farm village of about 20 families. You have been living in Howe for all your life, never straying too far in fear of being eating by the creatures of the night. Life was normal, until of recently when your powers began to manifest, at first it was hardly noticeable, but as time went on your powers became more and more out of control. One day a man came to your house, telling you he could keep you safe, from the humans that would soon fear your power. The man treated you like his own kin, helped you train and control your magics and taught you how to live like a normal human.
The curtain rises, and the tragedy may begin.
