Sam took Joe's hand, smiling. "Back to the house we go," she said.

"alone for a while" he smiled

She laughed. "For the walk home."

 

[Joeaikman]

"yeah" he put his arm round her

She moved closer to him, smiling. "It's not raining this time," she said.

"its better" bhe laughed

She smirked. "Definitely."

They were walking through the woods by now

She stuck close to him, holding his hand tightly.

Soon they were out

She pulled him toward her house, through the front yard.

He started to get nervous as they drew closer

The smell of dinner filled their noses as Sam flung the door open.

He walked in nervously

Sam lead him through to the dining room where her mother and father sat.

He smiled at them nervously

They nodded at him. "Now we can begin," her mother said.

He sat opposite Sam, looking somewhat out of place

They began serving themselves. Sam passed Joe the platters, smiling.

He wasn't looking at her too busy trying his best not to do anything wrong

Dinner carried on slowly, little bits of chatter here and there.

Soon it was over

"Can Joe sleep over?" Sam asked her parents.
