Bates Mansion has been abandoned for years due to an tragedy that isn't entirely understood, in fact the case went cold due to a couple of beers and a conveniently placed hooker.... Anyways the mansion was shut down and the entire place sealed from the prying public, rumors of restless ghosts and living... Things keep folks from coming in... And maybe something from getting out.

Then why a invitation? A mysterious letter addressed to you comes in the mail... Inviting you to visit Bates Mansion for some 'fun and games'...

You arrive with several others on the premise, the dark mansion towering over your group like a hungry beast over its delicious prey. Only to add to the increasing chill within, the door squeaks open of its accord into a creepy, yet welcoming hallway.

A T.V. screen with a camera greets you cheerfully as unseen hands hang up you and your accomplices coats.

"Oh do come in my esteemed guests. Make yourself at home..."

The door slams shut, trapping everyone within. Any attempts to budge the door are met with defeat. The once happy atmosphere morphs into darkness, only illuminated by the T.V... And thousands of small button eyes and grins.

BOOP?

Why is this in the dice section? You haven't mentioned a system or who the characters are meant to be.

Well, the dice system depends on the number of people in the manor. The characters are people who have to face challenges to find clues as to why the Mansion is haunted.

You are really going to have to elaborate on how you plan to use the dice. Is this something you've cooked up yourself?

Yes, I did.

Okay, the faces on the dice increase as the number of players increase so there is at least one number for each player and two numbers that nobody has. I roll for the creatures and if I land on a player's number, they get sent to the BOX. Each player rolls three times, three rounds, three people. Those who survive get points. They can use these points to restore a player from the box, ask for hints on how to find clues, or request items.

And the players have no way of avoiding a trip the box rather than pure luck?

Players can choose to save previous points and use them to buy their way out of the BOX if they so choose.

Wouldn't a greater number of players surviving mean they can easily pool points to get people out of the box?

One action for one day. The games are done Monday-Friday, Weekends and Holidays off. People in the BOX are kept alive for two days. Any cheaters will be killed on sight by the creatures.
