Distinguishing Marks: Numerous scars from cuts and las burns. Her nose has a bend in it from having been twice-broken. Explosive collar around her neck. A black stripe down her helmet and black insignia markings.

    Bio:

Every Cadian knows that the Kasrkin hold a position of honor and duty as representative of the spirit of Cadia as the Lord Castellan himself. To be a Kasrkin is to be utterly devoted to the defense of Cadia and the Imperium. No exceptions to this are permitted. Yet they still, rarely, occur. Even the best of the best make lapses on rare occasion.

The woman known by most only as "The Blackshield" or "The Hammer" is the result of one such lapse. A child of a pair of disgraced Kasrkin, she was born on the prison planet at the edges of the Cadian system's fringes. She has few memories of her earliest life, and none of her parents. They died, having sought purgation of their sins in the ranks of the Cadian system's only penal legion. Even more so than in most of the Imperium, the penal legionnaire's lot in the Cadian system is one fraught with the ever-present promise of death, and her parents found the absolution they sought in combat with the Enemy.

This left their child to grow of age amongst the cast-off, rabble-rousers, and failures of Cadian society and under the watchful eye of the Inquisition.

The stigma of her circumstances proved a barrier she could never overcome. Wherever she went, folk shunned her or treated her with disgust. She did not care. Such was her lot. She would endure. To do otherwise would be a failure or, worse, a heresy. And heresy could not be permitted.

Even more so than Cadians normally do, she always hated the forces of the Enemy that threaten the Imperium. For without their presence, perhaps she could have lived otherwise. Still, she was Cadian, she was a member of the Imperial Guard, they had even permitted her to join the whiteshields at one point. Disagreements with others and a tendency to create fractious behavior wherever she went, even among the best disciplined of troops, caused her to be remanded to the penal legions of her birthplace. But she was still Guard. And in that she found purpose. Blackshield or not, she was the Hammer of the Emperor, and she would do his work.

Which set? xD

The random.org set was largely great, aside from toughness.

The site roller set....not so much.

That and it's a matter of principle. I really dislike rolling up characters with the site roller. >_<

Yeah. I would love to shoot for a higher WS, but it pretty much nixes the concept if I bomb the attempt. So. Agility or Intelligence. -_-
