Typically speaking, Zakari sticks to hoodies and sweatpants. Sometimes this varies, but for the most part, it's all he has; typical shirts are long-sleeved, and most of his clothing have no patterns or images on them. Generally speaking, he stick to rather plain colors. Aside from that, Zakari has a tendency to not even wear a shirt, given how nice it is outside.

TATTOOS:

The entire upper part of Zakari's torso, not including his arms and neck, have been tattooed since the age of twelve with his family's markings.

WEAPONS: When he is outside of his mech, Zakari keeps a rifle on his person. This is alongside a pistol and multiple throwing knives.
PERSONALITY:

Hot-blooded. Optimistic to the highest extent, Zakari is a motivator to everyone around him. The man has a ravenous, almost insane drive to achieve greatness in every aspect of his being - and as a result, his outlandish behavior often conflicts with cold-hard rational standpoints of others. The man is an undetterable idealist. His hunger for freedom as well as his knack of winning conflicts could be seen as infectious. Zakari is extremely friendly, and genuinely feels like his rightful place is fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves.

HISTORY:

Oddly enough; Zakari's past is relatively unknown, except for the fact that he was raised in a family of Gypsies. (To be established further in RP.)

PROFICIENCY:

Tends to win fights despite the fact that he has no hand-to-hand experience. Zakari is decently intelligent, but excels with strategic guidance. He is truly a team player, with the intention to get out of battles with as many survivors on his side as possible. Zakari is the kind of person who will willingly fling himself into the midst of battle to take primary attention off of his comrades. The young man truly has nothing to live for, so he takes pride in being able to have something to die for.

HISTORY:

Rege was conceived in the hideout of the Short Change Gang, and is also a hybrid mech because it is made up of both mass-produced parts and more scrappy ones. Whatever the group could scrounge up, really. It is slender in build, capable of moving fast in and out of combat. An armored skirt around the waste protects from low attacks. Energy is transferred through the mech's eyes - the same energy which also extends to its weapons. The colors of the mech are black and orange. There are two enlarged parts on the back, which exist for jet propulsion. Rege opens vertically, with its front and back both detaching in order for the pilot to get in. Zakari operates by looking through the head of the mech, which is impossible to see into but completely transparent on the inside.

MECH CAPABILITIES:
- Environmental Awareness: Has a system of sensors which alert to any in coming enemies and objects, the radius expands 10 ft and will advise evasive moves and counter measures.
- EMP: A direction-conducted blast which affects the other mech. It completely shuts down the other mech's systems for up to a minute depending on the type of system capabilities existing within the other mech. Capabilities exist by use of a small launcher on both arms. A harpoon effect then takes place, with the actual EMP being emitted through the chain of the harpoon. This allows Rege to remain unaffected.
- Enhanced Speed System: Boosters on the back of the shoulders and feet allow for a faster base speed. Allows for more stability while at high speeds ranging from 200-300 mph while keeping reactions and mobility.
- AI: Intelligence exhibited by the machine which is a system that perceives its environment and takes actions that maximize its chances of success.
- Dual Energized Vibration Blades: Using conduction of energy to transfer it through a hidden blade (which is already tempered to those energies), and using high speed vibrations to super-heat the object it makes contact with at a rate faster than the material you are cutting to cope with. Thus, cutting edge has more energy than the surface can distribute.

Personality: Tough, rugged. Mako’s gone through all sorts of things that would scar so many people. He enjoys combat, but doesn’t exactly want to be in it all the time, instead preferring to have a drink and reminisce on old times. He’d very much prefer if people would just not try to revolt against Harmon, it’d make his job a lot easier. However, when it comes to combat, he does tend to be a bit cocky, but it isn’t bravado, he knows he’s good. Very, very good. And a little crazy, but no one ever got anywhere useful without a little insanity.

History: Mako was born the year the Calamity War started, and grew up in the outback of Australia as it fell apart. His parents left him on his own when he was thirteen. How did he react? He survived. He made a makeshift knife, and survived. He encountered a crocodile, and won. He eventually made a raft when he was fourteen, and drifted over to America, which wasn’t much better off, but there were some more people. He eventually met up with John Harmon, when he was entering his twenties. Mako also soon afterwards found Old Painless, naming her that after something his father had once said.

Soon enough, the Seven Year War began, and Mako fought bravely alongside Harmon, Woods, Hooper, Malkovich, and Kathryn. In the final battle, Old Painless was crashed, and Mako nearly killed. Now, the question arises yet again. What did he do, and how did he react? He stood up, limping and staggering, picking up a grenade launcher and laying waste to enemies left and right, eventually running out of ammo. After that, he proceeded to beat his enemies to death with the grenade launcher. That is where he became the Madman, Mako Thompson.

After that, he was given charge of the northern part of Central America, and all of South America. Old Painless was eventually resurrected, and given the A.I., Sheila. Now, Mako tends to keep his mens moral high, and goes on hunts with them all actively.

Skills: Mako’s a man who can do many things, such as aim a shotgun perfectly while on a motorcycle moving at breakneck speeds. Mako’s reaction time is lightning quick, and his aiming skills are deadly. He’s a really good motorcycle rider. He’s a very capable survivor. He’s able to craft things as well, and make decent medkits and bandages out of whatever he may have with him.

Special Abilities: Enhanced Reflexes. Mako’s able to react to anything thrown his way faster than anyone, unless that person has the ability to mess with time.
Name: Old Painless

Appearance:

History: Built before the Calamity War, and used for part of it before the original owner was killed, Old Painless was left for her own for roughly twenty years, until Mako Thompson found her and fixed her up. She saw many a fight in the Seven Year War, before finally being crashed in the very last battle when a sniper managed to hit the fuel tank, igniting the bike.

After the Seven Year War was over, Mako managed to get the bike rebuilt, but with an A.I. The A.I. was named Sheila, and has been part of the bike ever since.

Pre-Calamity/Post/Hybrid: Hybrid, having originally been built Pre-Calamity and then being heavily modified after crashing during the Seven Year War.

Other Details: Old Painless is heavily modified, having an A.I. by the name of Sheila. The miniguns fire armor piercing rounds, and are capable of moving horizontally as well as vertically. The bike is capable of reaching speeds up to 200 MpH. She also features an automatic targeting system, in the form of Sheila.

Personality: Sheila, being one of the oldest and most advanced A.I.’s created after the Calamity War, has been around and saw some things that would make most humans cringe, and perhaps her, if she had that capability. Sheila is normally calm, but wouldn’t hesitate to admit she loves it just as much as Mako does when they get to be in combat.

Capabilities on Platform: When given the go-ahead by Mako, Sheila is capable of driving Old Painless. She is also able to aim the frontal miniguns, as well as speak to Mako. She also has a radar and can pick up most things and anomalies nearby.

Normal attire varies upon setting. Her preference tends to be loose fit clothing which is easy to move in. Normally her clothing is dusted with dirt or grim of some sort due to her constant state of working. The only exception to this tends to be her Piloting suit which is a black form fitted suit with faint blue hexagon marking.

Prosthetics/Enhancements

A constant through out every RP is is put into is the fact that her left arm is a cybernetic prosthetic. Originally her arm was replaced with a low tech prosthetic that she has tinkered with over the years and slowly made better and stronger.The arm has a sensory system for pressure, heat and pain to match that of a normal limb, only difference is she can turn these sense off. She has a noticeable increase in strength in the arm and it is resistant to heat and waterproof. There is an system to protect the arm against over load of energy and EMP. Last feature of the arm is a 4 inch sharpened hidden bladed used in emergencies.

A pendants two inches in diameter pendent given to her by her father when she was a child. The swirls with in the pendant will glow faintly. It never leaves her person and is normally tucked into her shirt.

  Jade has been obsessed with technology since she was very young and often prefers the company of her creations than other humans. She will spend hours deconstructing and learning about machines, coming up with ways to enhance and upgrade existing tech and brains storming new inventions. Though she is knowledgeable she doesn't offer advice unless asked. She is sometimes forgetful and, oblivious and a bit of an air head when it comes to day to day life. Forgetting to eat or sleep while spending hours with her creations. This often has her coming off as antisocial or ditzy.
  
  Jade has a difficult time making friends and isn't always tact full with her responses often being very blunt. She is very smart and logical in her thinking but can relate to others on a base level. To the few friend she does have she is caring and loyal often putting herself in harms way to keep other safe. Jade is oblivious when it comes to anything romantic usually passing it off as they are just being nice. In her opinion romantic relations ships are nothing but drama and a detraction, and would rather avoid it.
  
  She is very out spoken and easily enraged if her any of her creations are damaged. She has very little tolerance for horseplay while in the work area often reacting in a very vocal and violent manner. Despite hate seeing others neglect their machines she is willing to lend a hand helping to others with their creations. Sometimes going overboard with her aid. Due to trauma as a child she as a severe dislike of loud explosions.

In situation where there isn't enough time to gather much information she defaults to knowledge already acquired to make the best guess in how to take out an enemy.

  Born and raised into the army life Jade grew up around technology and Mechs. Her father was an well respected pilot and her mother an engineer who designed and maintained mechs. Growing up Jade had always been bright however her parents noticed a difference with their daughter. She was less social and isolated her self from other children, having trouble relating to them. However she was was extremely intelligent and able to understand concepts far beyond her years. At the age of 11 she was enrolled into a specialized program where other children were trained in combat and Mech piloting. In Jades case she also studied engineering.
  
  Jade excelled in her studies and showed promise as an engineer and potential as a pilot. Enough to catch the attention of one of the generals. At 16 Jade was moved to a more intense and specialized training program. It didn't take very long for her parents to notice a difference in Jade. The teen became more isolated and what emotion she did show started to fade.
  
  Two years into the program while working on a project she had been assigned Jade realized too late that there was a miscalculation and the unstable element reacted violently. The incident resulted in severe burns along her left side and back and the lose of her left arm. Fortunately enough Jade was able to be given back function of her left arm in the form of a prosthetic. It was one worked on by both of her parents and a few friends of theirs.
  
  Despite Jade surviving the incident it had been the last straw for her parents. The only reason she was working with such dangerous materials was because the people running the program wanted to test her. Not wanting to put Jade in any more danger or lose their daughter completely to the military, the family left in the middle of the night with no warning, taking Jades mech along with her fathers. They didn't get very far before being pursued and nearly killed for deserting the army.
  
  During the escape Jade parents took it upon themselves to draw the attention of the army and allow Jade to escape. The last she saw of her parents they were holding their own against the armed forces until a large explosion cleared out the area. It is unsure if Jades parents survived or not however she wasn't able to go back and check since she was still being hunted.
  
  Jade wandered for nearly a year, managing to lay low. She used the traits and skills she had been trained for most of her life to become a mercenary as an Angel. She has worked as an undercover Merch. for a few years with a high success rate due to her skill in stealth.

  History:
  
  An old Pre Calamity mech which was heavily damage and found in the remains of a military base. It was a Mech that was deemed useless even for restoration work, however Jades father saw potential in it and took the mech in as a personal project. Over the years it was slowly repaired and rebuilt. Available tech and parts being used to bring back to life tech from the past. The project became a family project of sorts as both of her parents work on it, and eventually Jade as well once she was old enough.
  
  When taken in for the special military program Jade needed a mech to pilot, her father gifted the teen Ghost since she knew every aspect, mechanic and control of the mech down the the slightest movement. Jade excelled with the mech and improved on it further to suit her training. The PSION system was an invention of Jades and a joint project with her parents. She was only able to start the AI coding and had just finished final testing of the Neuro-link when it came time to escape. Over time Ghost has gotten a few upgrades and new weapons courtesy of a few unlucky military pilots. The main focus of the work Jade has put in to the Psion system which has had its fair share of faults but has been deemed a success.

    Perilous Situation or Incapacitation Override Neural-link.
    
    A link system invented and created by Jade which connects the mech to the pilots nervous system and mind. This provides for near instant reaction and reflexes. The mech essentially becomes an extension of the pilot. However it is a two way street the pilot maybe be able to control her mech as well as she can her own body however they can also feel damage inflicted upon the Mech.
    
    Along side the neural-link there is a AI programmed to record and essentially learn from the pilot. In the event of the pilot losing consciousness the AI will take over and take measures to retreat to safety. This does not always guarantee the Pilots safety though. The link can also be maintained when the pilot is out of the mech Via a special device which allows remote control of the mech from a distance. The control is less fluid and has a delay time due to the connection not being direct.
    
    Potential Side Effects: Migraines, temporary loss of motor control, permanent nerve damage, lapses in memory.
    
    Note: This is still an experimental system of Jades creation. Has not been released or utilized in any other systems.
    
    Suit Functions
    
    Enhanced Speed System: Boosters on back and legs allow for a faster base speed, other smaller boosters and systems with in the system allow for more stability while at high speeds ranging from 100-300 mph while keeping reactions and mobility.
    
    Camouflage: Optical camouflage with a slight sound muffling component.
    
    Heat Sync: Heat collection and containment system which redirects and contains heat generated and has can be controlled in it's release.
    
    Shield: Energy shield which can be expanded and contracted on command. The smaller the shield the stronger it is, larger shields tend to be weaker.
    
    System Scrambler: Emits a signal rendering surrounding tech to malfunction. Only lasts 30 sec.
    
    Environmental Awareness: Has a system of sensors which alert to any in coming enemies/objects and will advise evasive moves and counter measures. Provides 3D mapping, seismic sensors, thermal, infrared and electromagnetic scanners.

    Standard Issue Overcharge and EMP Protection
    
    Anchor System: Shifting stance each leg split in two from the knee joint down and anchor into the ground allowing for stable anchoring.
    
    Advanced Targeting System: targeting system utilizing all available scans in order to provide pinpoint accuracy at all ranges. Remote controlled single use scout droid is used in this process to extend range and gain more information. Batterylife: 1/2 hour. Explodes and nearly disintegrates on command or once battery life is up. Up to 6 can be stored at a time.
  - Weaponry
    
    Hidden Blades: An energized superheated blade on each arm which vibrates to allow for easier cutting. Blades can be stored away with in the arm for non combat situations.
    
    Railgun: Back mounted system which, when inactive, allows for full range of motion while acting as a secondary shield. When activated the spine of the mech must be straight and locked in said position. Mech is allowed some movement but is very limited. This system is integrated with the Air Piston Sniper Rifle (Below) as they share the same barrel. Due to the build of the weapon into the mech it provides a dampening system to protect from any form of electricity based attacks. Electricity is essentially channeled and stored in the gun to be used for power.
    
    Air Piston Sniper Rifle: Using a piston to hyper-condense air behind a massive shell / bullet. When the backwards-drilled holes are released, the cyclonic rotation of air along the barrel creates a vacuum (along with the intense pressure behind the shell/bullet), to eject the shell forwards at Ultra-Sonic speeds. (Super, Hyper, Ultra, Mega in that order of magnitude). Which means, the shell is traveling faster than 20x the speed of sound, riding on a slipstream of air. What it hits will be blown apart.
    
    Casmir Pulse Rifle: 30mm light based system of 50 chambers which store, charges and focuses light into a beam. These canisters are set on a rotary system which allows for semi-automatic firing rate.

    Smokescreen: plumes of supper heated smoke released from the front and back used to blind opponents.

  - Holo screens: several screens brought up Via hologram to access functions and information stored on the bracer.

Food: Seamus keeps easily opened tins of spam,some hardtack,and bags upon bags of jerky on him at all times.

Misc: More lockpicks than you can shake a stick at,as well as a full set of screwdrivers,plus a PDA,stolen from a Royal Forces officer.

Weapons: Seamus keeps only a single weapon on hand: A simple,reinforced pole. Or,in other words; A bo staff. It has some flex to it,just enough to make sure it doesn't simply snap once it meets resistance.
Personality: Seamus is a joker,constantly cracking wise or making light of things. This is largely because he sees himself as untouchable,thanks to his abilities. However,when on the job,despite his joking demeanor,he's objective minded. He will never attempt to kill anyone for any reason.

Background: Whoever said that there isn't any honor among thieves needs to jump off a bridge. Seamus is a thief,and has been ever since he could move on his own. While some would say this is a sign of kleptomania,Seamus likes to see it as a survival instinct; Armageddon has been harsh to Earth,and those that somehow exist in its wake.

Seamus' career of larceny is long,but relatively uneventful. He's a natural,having subsisted himself on stolen food and water,stolen belongings,and stolen shelter. He never killed,and likely never will. According to the old timers and old books,Seamus was born in Ontario,though he couldn't pin down exactly where. Roaming from town to town,Seamus did what Seamus does; Steal to live,and beating the occasional asshole into submission for being a threat,be it to himself,or others. This has made him a bit of a person of interest to His Royal Majesty's forces,as he's beaten the living daylights out of more than a few Civil Protection units for threatening civilians. Thankfully,they don't assume him to be a rebel,simply a thief with a white knight streak.

Most recently,he escaped Crown custody,and happened across a tiny village to the West of a large metropolis ruin,with a bunker beneath. The locals seemed friendly enough,so he hopped in to see what was what. Turns out,this was an excellent move on his part,and Seamus has since been the Man With the Magic Fingers for the recently-formed Short Change Brigade,stealing what needed to be stolen,and a few things that didn't. The real feather in his cap,however,was the powersuit he had stolen,right out from Harmon's nose. Since then,he's been largely sitting idle in the bunker,waiting for a job juicy enough to field the Brigade's head of espionage.

Skills: Seamus is a natural thief and infiltrator; He knows how to pick any normal lock,how to bypass nearly any electronic lock,and most security systems only slow him down for a moment. If it isn't bolted down,and he wants it,he will leave with it,one way,or another. He isn't concerned with leaving evidence,however; He generally takes the direct route for defeating security that doesn't take the form of patrolling guards,since it's the most reliable. In a fight,Seamus is shockingly effective with his staff,and even unarmed. However,if he lays his hands on a gun,he'll hold it as if it were covered in mucus,and his aim will be spectacularly awful.

Special Ability: Chronokinesis - Thief. Many people see time as an unbroken line. Single,straight,unerring. Seamus sees time for what it truly is; A branching river,with himself wading in the middle. Any choice that anyone can make creates a new branch,a new timeline,for every possible outcome. Seamus is capable of manipulating this river's flow,by manipulating time directly,either by "moving" it within "arm's reach" (A couple of minutes into the past or future),or altering how quickly time flows in that same window. Seamus is capable of selecting specific targets for this power,and he very much prefers this method,as it minimizes potentially disastrous ripple effects. The end result varies depending on the action taken,but generally catches people off-guard.
Name: Damnatio Memoriae

History: Developed by the Canadian Armed Forces as a specialist platform to be deployed by JTF-2,the Calamity sort of put a halt on deployment. However,extensive testing has revealed that the Damnatio Memoriae is a top-of-class personal stealth warfare platform,capable of being where it needs to be,without anyone being the wiser,and doing what needs to be done... And then some,before getting out. During the wars leading to His Royal Majesty Hamon's rise to power,the Memoriae has changed hands numerous times,before being forgotten in a hasty evacuation that left the base it called home in total ruin,both sides not bothering with the expense to recover this wondrous piece of technology.

Eventually,the Crown launched an expedition to salvage any abandoned bases they could find,the home of the Memoriae top on their list. The suit's current owner,Seamus Young,infiltrated the Crown's digging operation,just as the Crown was deploying a team to recover the suit itself. Without being seen,he beat them to the suit,boarded it,and got it running. He was only seen as he was making his escape,meaning the operator of the suit is unknown. The suit itself,however,has been declared a valuable hostile asset; If possible,recovery attempts should be made,and the operator apprehended. Should that be impossible,the operator's death,with minimal damage to the suit would be preferable.

Seamus,meanwhile,uses the suit for particularly dangerous heists,and is rarely seen.

Technology Level: Pre-Calamity.

Weapons: The Damnatio Memoriae is a stealth suit,and barely larger than a human. Seamus largely abandoned the machine's weapons,but he kept two systems; The first is the melee weapon,a pair of electrified kali sticks,capable of delivering an EMP,and the suit's harpoon system,capable of firing tethered anchors for the sake of mobility,or sneaky weapons. The Memoriae is practically festooned with harpoon launchers.

Technology: The Damnatio Memoriae is an incredibly advanced system. Astonishingly,it is fortified against an EMP assault,while also having everything in the book to evade detection; Emission masking,electronic countermeasures,and even optical cloaking. The optical cloaking is achieved by a swarm of airborne nanomachines,equipped with cameras and projectors. Combined,they project the image of an undisturbed environment where the Memoriae should be. The cloud's footprint is only a couple of inches away from the Memoriae. Finally,the powersuit doesn't have an artificial intelligence; It uses a bio-neural interface,directly connecting to the operator's brain,via a quick and clean,if excruciatingly painful,spinal tap.

Personality: Milly normally acts very silly and immature. While the times may be grim, she likes to lift people up with a bit of humor and mischief. She's very high maintenance, though, and she often doesn't like doing much physical activity or getting very dirty (unless it's in the kitchen). Despite her childish exterior, she has a very maternal and caring nature, and always makes sure everyone feels okay, and does her best to cheer people up.

Personality: Bezzhalostnyy. Russian for ruthless. Malkovich is a man of little mercy, and small tolerance. If he was to be compared to a figure in modern media, Darth Vader would come to mind. Malkovich is stern, and very determined. Very little is capable of getting in this giant’s way, as little has survived his wrath. Even his own men have fallen to him for their failures. He also believes experimentation is key to evolution, as he has experimented upon himself, as well as potential traitors taken from their homes in the middle of the night. He’s also the kind of man who will straight up ignore pain just to get the job done.

History: Malkovich was born in Russia a few years after the Calamity, and became a drifter. He learned to steal, and to fight. Eventually, he managed to steal a small boat and found his way to America, or, what was left of it. He eventually met up with Marcus Harmon, and joined his group during the Seven Year War.

During the war, his mech, Bezlikiy, not named before this moment, suffered major damages. Her entire left arm was blown off in such away that reattaching was impossible. As well as half of the mech’s face was blown off. The results of this make the mech look decrepit, although she runs much better than before.

After the war, Malkovich was given command over Russia and Asia, where he rules in a strict manner, often times performing public executions on those thought to be spies and traitors.

Skills: Malkovich is very proficient at being terrifying. He’s a seven foot tall Russian with the patience of Darth Vader, why wouldn’t that be terrifying? He’s accurate with his pistol. He’s a strong melee fighter. In his mech, he’s accurate with his weaponry, and very skilled with his morningstar. He's also able to perform scientific experiments and come up with medicines and stuff like that. He's also able to work on technologies, and harnessing things to use them.

Special Abilities: Pyromancy. Malkovich is capable of summoning flame, and controlling the spread of already present flame. He’s invulnerable to burning. He’s also capable of setting himself on fire and flying through the air.
Name: Bezlikiy

Appearance:

Take note, the Bezlikiy is missing her entire left arm, in its place is a cape which hides the burnt and destroyed cables which hang out of the socket. The left side of the mech’s face is severely damaged, or at least looks like it. There are gears and sockets sticking out, as well as burn marks. There is also charring across the cape, and part of the mech.

History: The mech was discovered halfway through the Seven Year War, and Malkovich claimed it. As stated before during on of the battles she was in, she suffered severe damage. She was repaired as best as she could be after that.

Pre-Calamity/Post/Hybrid: Hybrid.

Weapons: A shoulder mounted rocket launcher. A pistol sized for the mech. Accurate at range. A morningstar that he typically has aflame when he is wielding it.

Other Details: There is a laser targeting system in it’s right eye that the rocket launcher follows. It works systematically like the plasma caster a Predator may us, though it fires rockets instead.

Personality: Marcus is typically a calm, reserved man. He’s not rowdy, in any way. He cares, in a way, more about the environment than people. This is why he’s left the environment to take over. He cares for his wife and daughter, and is loyal to friends.

History: Marcus Harmon was born thirty three years before the Calamity War. He joined the military young, and was one of the first to develop an ability. It was all so strange to him, being shown off, simply because of how strong he was. Some called him a super-soldier, others called him a freak. Then others started to develop powers, and soon enough, the war broke out. It was brutal, and scarring. Friends died, nations fell.

And soon, the few survivors were left picking up the pieces. Marcus soon found himself as one of them, and a leader, no less. He went with it, and lead. Eventually, someone who he had once called an ally in the struggle, was now an enemy. Grant Armstrong was like a son, until a disagreement occurred. After the disagreement, the Seven Year War began. This war was even more brutal, as there were few people left in the world, and this just decreased that number even more. Marcus lead his men bravely, and was in nearly every battle. He nearly died twice.

The war finally came to a close with the final battle, all forces on both sides massing at the Grand Canyon. It ended with Grant Armstrong laying dead on the ground in front of Marcus, and Marcus recovering from the wound Grant dealt him just before Marcus twisted Grant’s neck.

After that, Marcus elected his General’s, married his Queen, and established himself around the world.

Skills: Skilled leader. Very good mecha pilot. Very good hand to hand. Is able to sew.

Special Abilities: Super-strength. How strong is strong? He can tear his way bare-handed into a mecha and rip you right out of your seat. He can also suplex a train.

History: She was the very mech assigned to Marcus when he enrolled before the Calamity War. She’s been through thick and thin with him. She’s been in countless battles, and taken more hits than any other mech that ever existed. She took one hell of a beating when she and The Ulysses finally had their final go, resulting in both mechs just stopping.

Weapons: She has a lever action rifle for range, a submachine gun for close range, and her melee weapon are her fists.

Personality: Kathryn, at first sight, does not take shit from no-one, seen most times as a no-nonsense, calm and cynical leader with no time for anything else. The type to not let anything get in-between her and her duty, a woman that will speak to you with kindness and respect if you return the favour. However there is so, so much more to her.

First and foremost, Kathryn is a mother. A protective, caring mother that has no limits to her actions if it means her daughter will be safe and sound. A wife, a lover. A friend. Kathryn isn't the type to flaunt her affections to anyone but those that she does keep in her heart, she is loyal to, to a T. Those that she can lean on to take a breathe away from all the stress, and ask to take a bite at two am in the morning. Those are hers. And she is theirs. They are family.

Her enemies? They're threats to her peace, to her family. And according to Kathryn, threats are to be destroyed before they become a possible reality.

History: Born and raised up until she turned ten in Gothenburg, Sweden, Kat was the only girl among four older brothers. Pampered and cared for, she lived a relatively normal life, moving to London and enjoying the gray weather that didn't differ too much to her hometown. Her father sending her to practice boxing when he heard about the assaults around town.

And then she met a boy, Greg, when she was sixteen and by the time she was nineteen, she truly believed him to The One. And he was, back then. Before the war, before Marcus. Before she discovered her powers. So she lived life, never getting married but she was pregnant soon enough. Her first child was blonde. With gray eyes like his father.

Forty years. For forty years she was clueless of her abilities, of her power to avoid death but never truly stay away from it. A temporary shift that occured on her birthday, a day she had been stressed about. And afraid of. Motherhood had not been kind to her, as her son's father died early on, taken by cancer.

And merely two years later the war began. She was one of the many that joined Marcus in his quest, and one of many mothers that saw her child die at war. But she was also talented. Becoming stronger and faster, learning more and more about her powers until there was nothing more to know. Gaining the TREX-89 and becoming one of Harmon's personal subordinates.

What happened after that is history. The seven year war was harsh, leaving her with scars that were healed after her first permanent shift at the age of seventy-six. She traveled around, learning more and more but eventually returning to Harmon's side. Within the days of the war, the two had grown closer, and she finally realized what the difference was between loving someone and being in love with someone.

The title of Queen was just a bonus. A duty-ridden one.

Skills: Several skills were developed before and after the war, inbetween the years.
- Languages: Kathryn can speak both English and Swedish fluently while being able to understand and speak a bit Somali and Spanish.
- Cooking: Kat is a decent cook, and likes to try out new recipes once in awhile, creating some herself. It gives her a 'mother-y' feel, and she has grown quite passionate about it. Even with the countless fails she has come upon her time.
- Fishing: Kathryn's a decent fisher, able to catch most prey with her strong muscles. A skill she picked up in her old hometown.
- Smithery: Being a daddy's girl and having a father as a blacksmith just changes the idea of fun for a thirteen year old. Always been entranced by the clang of metal on metal, the heat radiating of the furnace and the stress-relief, Kathryn still prefers making her own small weapons.
- Herbologist & Health Care: Due to her constant travelling, and fates obvious hate for the chick, Kathryn picked up on a few skills during her long lifetime, one of them being herbology. Being able to grow them herself, the crazy woman uses it to make not only medicine but poisons. I'd be careful if I were you... By the way, herbs are awesome make-up bases. Take it from Kate, she knows.
- Traveler: As Kate has been travelling around alot, she learnt a thing or two, which she refers to the Traveler skills. You see, you got traveler skill when you can easily choose which way to go when in a crossroad, in a jungle, without a map. Born to be on foot, that's travelers.
- Farming: Due to her passionfor cooking, Kathryn has taken it upon herself to farm some of her own vegetables and what not.
- Swordsmanship: Kathryn loves fist-to-fist fights but she also sees the needs to be able to defend yourself, besides throwing a punch. And so she has dedicated herself to constant training with swords, whether they be one-handed, two-handed, long or short. Daggers or otherwise, this girl can rock'em. Though they are less used these days.
- Tracker: Another move she learnt from travelling so much, needing to catch that goddamn juicy bunny, Kate is an excellent tracker and boasts about it. Due to her own experience and her keen eye, the girl finds it easy to find other stuff. Or people.
- Decent Mechanic: Being the original owner of the Trex-89 and Atalanta's current owner, Kathryn learnt to live in the moment, in the battlefield. And in the battlefield, you won't find mechanics laying around, so knowing a bit about your own P.A./Mech could go a long way. Note: Decent mechanic, as in can repair my car, my stuff
- Maternal Instincts/Observant: Remember that white lie you told the other day? Or that sneaky glance you sent Kyle's way? If not, Kathryn does. Not only due to her motherhood but also due to the fact that the old bat has been alive alot longer than she should have, Kathryn is one of the most observant people around. And the best part? Nobody knows, because she doesn't show it. She won't blab about the affair between Kyle and Joe, because she doesn't care, and it is none of her business.
- Stealth: Staying hidden is not a problem for Kathryn most times as she just has to adjust her age and put some make-up on.
- Muay Thai: During one of her travels, Kathryn encountered a man by the name of Veradis Arthit, he teached her an ancient art {from the 2000's} called Muay Thai. A combat sport which concentrates on delivering power in each strike, making the best use of close-quarter fighting. Almost all techniques in Muay Thai use the entire body movement, to make the blow as efficient as possible: rotating the hip with each kick, punch, elbow and block.
- Boxing: Faster reflexes, better speed, more endurance {more shifts} and more strength. Now imagine boxing and Muay Thai together... Yep, Kathryn was blown away too when she came up with the idea
Special Abilities: Kathryn has the ability to manipulate her physical age, making her ageless.
- The User is practically ageless, being able to change their physical appearance. The strength of the power varies from person to person.
- There are two sorts of age transformations: Temporary and Permanent. Both of them require different things.
- Temporary Age Shift: This sort of shift can vary, from changing the age of your hand to changing your whole appearance. The power feeds off of energy from the physical form it is in, the energy equaling to stamina and endurance. The more endurance a physical form has, the longer the transformation lasts. Using the power on only one or few body parts takes less energy than a full transformation.
- Younger physical forms {0-15} tend to be 'Burst Shifts', while the physical form is perfectly intact it lasts upto two-four hours, when on low maintenance {allowing certain body parts to be less 'young'}
- Older physical forms {46+} tend to also be 'Burst Shifts', however they can last up to 7-8 hours due to the trained endurance.
- The In-The-Middle physical forms are the ideal ones, having longer 'energy bars', these can last up to about 17 hours.
- Permanent Age Shift: This sort of shift is dependent on the physical form it is in while performing 'The Ritual', requires an immense amount of concentration and energy. The Permanent Shift is a slow process, taking from 32-48 hours to complete. The body slowly changes, one part of the users body becoming permanent after the other.
- Requires some sort of blood: While human blood is the ideal for this sort of shift, animal blood suffices. The user is to relinquish their energy by taking a sip every ten minute. For some reason this seems to fuel the invisible 'energy bar'.
- As mentioned before, the less energy one has in their current permanent physical form, the harder it is to perform the ritual, and the more blood is required.
- Permanent shifts turns ones body into what it original was during that 'age cycle', when at for example the age of 26 you had a tattoo on your leg, when shifting permanently back to 26, you will have that same tattoo on your leg.
- Age Cycle: After each permanent shift, one restarts the age-cycle, so to say, if we were to shift back to the age of 34 and you were fat during that time, you will be fat when you shift to that age. However, let's say that you were fat from the ages of 23-47, after the shift, if you go exercise and turn into a hottie, during your next permanent age shift, you will return to the hottie form you were in. You followed another 'age-cycle'.
- Notable Side-effect of the age-cycle: Let's imagine Kathryn getting shot by a bullet, the bullet goes straight through her stomach. While Kathryn can temporarily age shift her stomach, it will return to its age soon after, and when it does, she'll die immediately. Temporary Age Shifts do not stop the original age-cycle, and the permanent age of the user continues to age separately during temporary age shifts.
- IMPORTANT! - Kathryn is ageless, not immortal. Any mortal wounds can and will kill her.
- Can't change her facial or body structure; So if you know how the grandma from next door looked like back in the days, you'll probably notice her apparent age-shift.
- Prone to extreme exhaustion: As mentioned before, this power requires extreme amounts of energy and so the user is prone to exhaustion after heavy use.
- Sudden Death: As mentioned before, during the temporary shift, the original permanent body ages separately and so, while stuck in another form for more than 17 hours, her original body may get dehydrated, starve to death etc.
- Has to be conscious: The power has to be used consciously, or it won't work. Temporary shifts disappear when user is either asleep or knocked out.
- Only able to shift to ages she has actually lived through: Kathryn can't shift to the age of 90. Why? Because she hasn't lived to the age of ninety during any of her age-cycles.
- 17 Hours Maximum: Kathryn has been unable to temporarily shift for more than seventeen hours, once she reaches the seventeenth hour, she has to either rest and naturally relinquish her power or drink blood.
Ranged Skills: Kate is an average shooter for a Royal P.A. Operator, and continues to be so as she has no interest in the arts of crossbows, guns etc. However she has a keen eye and so, she is a slightly above average sniper.

Close Quarters Skills: Kathryn lives for the adrenaline rush she gets whenever her fist connects with her opponents cheek, and so she puts herself through rigid training to perfect her movements both inside and outside the Atalanta. And with hard work comes much earned superior skills.

Melee Skills: As mentioned before, Kate lives for close quarter fighting and so she has also trained herself to excel in melee skills, especially as it is Atalanta's main fighting style.

Other Skills: Atalanta has, as mentioned before, two 'wings', which are in fact just larger parts used as a jet engine, which allows the armor to boost its speed, however for it to 'soar' through the sky, it requires energy and is mostly used as last second-escapes from heavy blows. The 'retreating-soar' is also activated when the core-system of the P.A. is in failure, so as to salvage any mechanical parts after the battle.

Since the Atalanta is more light-weight than average, it depends on its speed and maneuvering and was designed to deliver just that.
Name: The X-IE7, otherwise known as Atalanta/Ata by Kate.

Written Description: Silver linings on the sword, the royal crest where the logo is and two small 'wings' on the shoulder blades, each wing has a jet engine as their core which boosts its speed. The Atalanta has three different stages, as pictured, the first one used as merely a power-up suit [mostly used during sniping from faraway], the second one an upgraded version which boosts the agility and speed. The third version is the complete, fully armored style that is seen on the battlefield.

The P.A. is 'attached all together' by a 'dressing-machine' onto the users body. [iron-man way babyyy!] Once in the suit, Kathryn activates it through voice, eye and blood/DNA-recognition, using a small inbuilt pin to take a drop of her blood every single time. To change the official user of the P.A., one would have to decode and rewrite the whole core-system.

Kathryn pilots the P.A. through body-synchronization and has a hud-interface inside with a inbuilt radar. Her whole armor is like a see-through window from the inside, and she has a small 'window' open in her hud-interface which is connected to several cameras on the back of the Atalanta. Ata has an A.I.

History: The X-IE7 is a mix between salvaged parts of the TREX-89 [ Kathryn's former mech, destroyed during a raid in a mission about 1,000 years ago] and new high technology. The Atalanta has been in action for 948 rough years, surviving through so many battles that Kate has lost count. Kate's been strangely attached to the machine since she first handled it during a test run, giving it a nickname compared to the TREX-89 that she had for more than 600 years.

Type: Hybrid, leaning onto Pre-Calamity.
- Firearm: The M2010 Enhanced Sniper Rifle [twice the size] [Ammunition; 300WM and .300 Ultra Mag.]
Secondary: Imagine that attached to the hands of Atalanta, three times the original size, these 'Wolverine Gloves' are perhaps Kathryn's favorite weapon, used as her melee/close quarter-weapons, they put more slashing power to her punches. Able to tore through 'light' P.A. armour, and has an average damage rate on the heavier ones.

Melee: The Titania is the Atalanta's main weapon and is made out of two-hundred different layers of steel. [17-4PH, 15-5PH,] About five meters long, and it is constantly sharpened before battle. Has a button for electrical discharge, can rip through most P.A. models and give considerable damage to a Mech.

Other: Can fly, using the boosters, takes lots of power though and requires a lot of will. Has a Auto-Mode. Explained down below.

A.I. Name: Freddy

Voice Sound: Masculine, with a light and soft canadian accent.

Personality: Been around as long as Atalanta has, Freddy is possibly the most crude, degrading and lustful being you will ever meet. Freddy, to put it simply, is ajerk. A smart as fuck jerk. And he knows it. Weird enough, he is infatuated with Kathryn, constantly 'hitting on her', even though he is aware of his position as a mere Power-Armor interface and encourages her to 'leave the old fart'. He is also a big supporter on the battlefield, trying to keep Kat's Will-Level high all the time.

Capabilities: Initiaties The Atalanta, handles communication {with a tendency to comment on things}, and goes on Auto-Mode whenever Kat is seriously injured but still has the will to fight. This allows her to continue without needing to move, but by using voice command.

History: Krieger was originally a fighter alongside Grant Armstrong, but he was captured by Victor Malkovich and turned into what he is know. That’s all that is known of him.

Skills: What are they good at? This includes combat and stuff, as well as non-combat and skills within the mech.

Special Abilities: Telekinesis. Krieger’s able to lift several objects at once. With his mind, he’s capable of lifting all four of his mech’s swords at once, and face multiple enemies at once.

Personality: Brave. Confident. Fearless. Raven has all the traits a good leader needs, despite having never served in the military. Raven is great with words and capable of inspiring people in many ways. Raven’s not that competitive, but she’ll fight if she needs to.

Raven believes that Harmon needs to be taken down, because he hasn’t done well with ruling. She’s also heard the stories of what happens Russia and Asia. She has it deadset in her mind that this is what she needs to do. And in a way, it’s revenge for her father’s death.

Though it isn’t all hate and vengeance. Raven wants a world where the children of tomorrow can be happy, and free. To where they can do things of the past. She wants humanity to be restored to the glory it once had, and to be united, and to maybe even stretch out farther than just Earth. Together, as a world. As a species.

History: Raven was born in northern Canada, the daughter of a military family, who had been serving under General Woods for as long as the family could remember. Her father had been rising easily through the ranks. However, when Raven was four, her mother came down with an illness. She died soon after that. Her father was never the same after that. He didn’t do much in the military much after that, and eventually, he turned coat, taking Raven with him.

Though, they were soon tracked down, and her father sent her away, though she grabbed and ripped part of his shirt off before she left. Raven then had to steal, and make a living. As she grew older, she began to hate the Populas Salvator, though, not striking against them in pure hate. She began to hear rumors of what they have done in other countries. She waited for years, not doing much other than drifting around.

When she was twelve, she came upon a town and fell victim to a prank gone wrong. A bucket fell on her head, and she was drenched in water. One of the perpetrators ran away. The other came to help her and apologized. After he helped her to her feet, she punched him, and said they were even. They became quick friends after that, and she soon became friends with the rest of his family. Naomi, Tiera, Jack, and Raven. The Monroes.

Eventually, her hatred towards the Populas Salvator leaked into the Monroes, and they joined her in causing some havoc. And then abilities started to make themselves present. Raven was capable of manipulating water, and James electricity. Two of the most powerful abilities known.

And then she found the bunker with the mechs, and had a following. That was when the Short Change Brigade was formed.

Skills: Raven is an excellent speaker. She’s also a brilliant strategist and thinker, and will run any and all scenarios through her head before she even begins to write down a plan or a strategy. She’s also decent with her mech. She’s skilled with her shotgun, able to get long range shots with it, even though it is a shotgun.

Special Abilities: Hydrokinesis. Raven is able to manipulate even the smallest drops of moisture. She can make it freeze with ease, or call upon a tidal wave. She’s able to draw moisture from the air. However, if the air is too dry, or if she is too dehydrated, this power is practically useless.
Name: Midnight

Appearance: The Midnight is a mech colored in dark shades of purple, to black. The mech’s face is slim, with a crescent moon crest above the eyes. The eyes glow a deep, dark shade of purple. The face is humanoid, though there is ventilation across where the mouth would be, as if to decoy that the mech pilot sits in the head. The chest of the mech is a rich, dark purple. The mech’s torso is slender, and completely black. The arms are narrow with retractable wrist blades. The rest of the mech is shades of purple and black.

History: Midnight was built before the Calamity war, and wound up sitting in a bunker. She was only recently discovered and chosen by Raven.

Weapons: A shotgun, a pistol, the retractable blades, and a staff that’ll come out of the mech’s hand and extend.

Personality: Arrogant, cocky, but smart. James is confident in his abilities, even with his young age. He’s also very able to cheer others up with words. James has bravado. A lot. But only because he knows he can back it up. He’s not fearless, as he knows he’s only human, and so are his friends and family.

He truly believes that King Harmon needs to be overthrown, or should step down. He feels that the world should return to how it was, but being run by a democracy. He truly wants to unite humanity and work for it to be strong and united. And he’ll do whatever it takes for it, though, he doesn’t want to have to make sacrifices. The only sacrifice he’s willing to make is himself, if it comes to that.

History: James was born only two minutes after his twin, Jack. Which, was two years after their elder sisters, Naomi and Tiera. He only vaguely remembers his parents, as they disappeared when he was two. He, as well as his brother, were raised by their sisters, mostly Naomi. James spent most of his young life simply following his sisters around, and causing some mischief with Jack.

To name a few, spray painting the side of General Woods’ mobile base. That resulted in Woods asking them to clean it, in which case they did. Woods then offered them one shot of vodka each, even though they were seven. Jack refused while James took the shot, and proceeded to cough a little. Another was to cause some military personnel to chase them. Oddly, they were let off easy.

When they were around ten, James and Jack pulled a prank which would change their life forever. The prank was done on a girl new to the town, and it involved a bucket of water falling down on her head. This prank went horribly wrong, as the bucket itself fell and hit her over the head. Jack, freaked and ran off while James rushed to the girl to help her out. He apologized dearly to her, before she punched him. She then helped him onto his feet after that.

And they became fast friends after that. James even looked up to this girl, Raven, was her name. Her confidence inspired him, and that’s part of the reason he is who he is today. The group of friends eventually started to do more than just pranks however, the pranks turned into small little acts of rebellion against the throne. And then the abilities started to develop, and that’s when things got serious.

James first discovered his ability when he and Raven began to be harassed by a soldier while out in the woods. The soldier eventually punched James, knocking him down and grabbed onto Raven. James stood back up, fast. And delivered a punch that had enough electricity to knock the soldier out. It also seemingly gave the soldier a bit of amnesia because no one came after James and accused him of being an electrokinetic.

Eventually, they got a bit of a following, with the addition of Seamus Young. And then, Raven discovered the bunker. And that was the birth of the Short Change Brigade, as there are mechs, power-armor, and all kinds of stuff.

Skills: James is capable at hand to hand combat, though he’s very skilled with his sword and prefers to use the sword. He’s also a capable mech pilot, or so he thinks. He’s still learning the ropes when it comes to that. He’s also one hell of a cook.

Special Abilities: Electrokinesis. James is capable of manipulating the electricity in the air, as well as inside of people in various ways. He’s not all that powerful with it just yet, though it tends to stand out more and become more powerful as his emotions become more passionate. An example is that if he were to become very angry, electric sparks would start to “dance” in the air around him, or even his mech.
Found in nigh perfect condition in the bunker, James’ mech, aptly named Thunderstroke stands relatively tall, and is a combination of shades of blue and white. The mech is relatively slim, and agile. Her face is relatively humanoid, with a dark blue V coming down from the glowing blue eyes The rest of the face is white. The pilot is housed in the chest of the mech. The torso of the mech is slim. The top portion of the torso is a dark shade of blue, and from there it becomes lighter shades. Attached to her back is a white V, which will extend into wings with thrusters on them, giving her the capability to fly, or to thrust herself forward, which would make a melee attack more devastating. Over her shoulders are two thick metal plates which go over and around the shoulders in square angles, being heavily armored to protect the weak spots there. Thunderstroke’s arms are mostly blue, coming down to where the wrists and hands are. Around the forearm, however, is what seems to be a white fabric. That fabric is some form of armor cover that will warp into a shield on the side of the arm, capable of blocking heavy fire and melee attacks. Sneakily hidden inside the mech’s arms are the two swords. In the middle of the swords are two pivots, allowing the swords to move with the elbow while the arm moves. When engaged to come out, the pivot will look and seemingly disappear, and then the sword will shoot out, having the come to the mech’s hands. The swords are also capable of being launched out of the wrist like a spear, which would possibly anchor into an enemy mech. The bottom half of the mech is mostly white, with the waist area being blue, as well as the feet. Thunderstroke’s thighs have missile launchers on the inside part of the outer leg, allowing them to be hidden when needed. There are also thrusters in the feet of the mech, allowing it to jump to higher elevations instead of using the fuel in the wings. Thunderstroke’s primary firearm is a rifle with an automatic lock on feature. The rounds won’t lock on, per say, though they will fire towards the target without James really needing to aim.

- Lyon discovered his ability at a young age, 9. It was only by the good grace of his mothers teachings that he didn't go act a fool and flaunt it around, keeping it secret and telling no one. He secretly practiced it in awe, learning to create voices at a distance at first and soon rising further beyond that.

  The mech itself pairs its exceptional speed due to its quadruped make up with reinforced armor to create an effective and dangerous battering ram strategy mainly used for quick escapes or distracting an opponent in a close area.
  
  Typically the mech remains back from the battlefield, circling the edges of its range and taking out any targets with a pair of high impact anti material cannons mounted on the top of the mech. Lyon calls the two cannons The Hammers, each are built to fire repeatedly with a five second delay between shots, staggering the firing so that each fires between the others waiting period, allowing for a shot every two and a half seconds. 24 shots per minute, 24 shots of high penetration anti material rounds boosted to reach full penetration even through a cockpit on a mech when Lyon decides.

The suit simply captures the terrain color behind it where the user is pressed to a terrain and mimics it across the entire suit. Personality: Dimitri Dolokov is a diagnosed and self-admitted sociopath; Morality,ethics,and most social graces completely confound him,and are lost on him. Background: Dimitri Dolokov was born and raised in Russia,where he had managed to develop and nurture an incredible intellect. He was able to attend schools,and even university,in the shattered hellscape left behind by the Calamity,and become what could only be described as an omnidisciplinary scientist,being a master in every scientific field known to man... And one he pioneered himself; Metahuman Studies. This new field,and engineering,have become his specialties since then.

When Armstrong and Harmon clashed,Dimitri was hardly interested in their petty struggle. Their goals bored him. People live,people breathe,people die. Rinse and repeat. However,both factions eventually approached him,asking for his aid. Frustrated by their incessant begging and interruptions,he did eventually throw his lot in with the last one to ask,Harmon,simply to shut them up. Apparently,this was the proper choice,as,within the year,Armstrong's forces were annihilated in Arizona,the man himself beaten to a bloody pulp by Harmon's own two hands.

After assuming the throne,Harmon had commissioned Dolokov in service to the Crown,with the objective to develop technologies to perpetuate the human species' existence. To this day,Dolokov is hard at work in the pursuit of this objective,under General Malkovich.

Skills: Doctor Dolokov is an omnidisciplinary scientist; This means he knows everything there is to know about the sciences. Besides,he's an incredibly talented engineer,and his mind is simply wired differently from the rest of humankind,allowing him to think differently. He knows how to fight with a large melee weapon,if barely,and his marksmanship is so poor,he's equally likely to hit someone standing behind him as he is the target in front of him.

Special Ability: Chronokinesis - Pause. Doctor Dolokov is a metahuman,with the ability to simply put time on hold for as long as he pleases. Background: Jackson Knives grew up in the UK,after the Seven Year War. Under the authority of General Francesca Hooper,he lived in fear; She's been known to atomize entire cities,if she caught wind of even a minor resistance cell. As soon as he reach eighteen years of age,he took a boat to Canada,where Grand General Robin Woods was in command. Everyone across the planet knew of Woods; The man who stood with Harmon since the beginning,and now rules over North America with benevolence and understanding.

Arriving in Canada by way of Newfoundland,he immediately sought to join the Royal Armed Forces,seeking to serve humanity. In training,Jackson had the luxury of selecting which service he wanted to enter,as he showed an extreme aptitude for any of them. He decided on the Mech Corps,and quickly earned his distinctions in worldwide deployments,using nothing more than a Post-Calamity open-topped clank of a mech.

Eventually,Grand General Woods selected Knives,a Captain at this point,to serve aboard the Ghost of Sparta as the head of his elite strike team. From this point on,Jackson never left North America,but assisted in maintaining stability on the continent through diplomacy and surgical strikes against only the most threatening rebel elements. His current mech,the Madcat,was obtained during one such raid,and was repaired and refurbished to suit Jackson's needs.

Skills: Jackson Knives has earned his primary nickname as the Jackknife; He's adept in the operation of any vehicle or weapon,and knows a huge assortment of martial arts and combat styles. Besides that,he's good with a computer,and is a master glass smith. His quick wit and complex mind affords him the edge he needs to survive in a battlefield of metahumans.

Name: Madcat

History: The Madcat was originally a mech in possession of the late rebel movement,calling themselves "Shadow of Man". During an operation spearheaded by the Jackknife himself,the Shadows of Man were erased,and their considerable stockpile of materiel in southern Texas was seized by the Populas Salvator. Before handing it over,Jackson laid claim to this Post-Calamity mech that was in the gantries in a mech lab. Since then,it has been completed and refurbished,turning it into what it is now.

Technology Level: Post-Calamity.

Weapons: The machine's primary weapon is the enormous shoulder-mounted cannon,capable of outright destroying nearly any mech in the world with a single direct hit... With the possible exception being the Rippling Wall. It is an artillery piece,meaning it can strike accurately from an extreme distance. The Madcat's secondary weapon is a claw system; The right hand can deploy puncturing claws,while the left hand is permanently set to a scything,crushing claw; These claws can deliver an EMP on contact. Finally,the Madcat's ranged alternative is a simple hand cannon,though it is extremely large,even for a handgun.

Interestingly,the Madcat has a laser antimissile system,one which Knives can take manual control of for use in a close range fight.

Technology: The Madcat is an interesting machine; It lacks many of the assitive systems that other mechs have,up to the point that the operator needs to use the iron sights on the pistol in order to aim properly. However,the artillery piece is host to an extremely advanced targeting and fire control system,enabling accurate shots at extreme distances. As outlined above,the Madcat is capable of delivering an EMP through its claws,and in order to keep itself from being shut down,the Madcat is hardened against EMP itself.

Personality: Jeanne is a jaded,cynical bitch. She holds very little hope for the success of any resistance movement,but still fights because she believes it's the right thing to do. When she speaks,expect to be bombarded with foul language in both French and English. She seems to be suicidal,plunging headfirst into any situation,heedless of the danger.

Background: Jeanne Leroux was born and raised in what used to be Quebec. Under Woods' benevolent rule,she chaffed. She knew that they were all slaves,forced to do what Woods told them to,because if they didn't,they'd be deemed a danger to the future of humanity,and carted off to who knows where.

So,at sixteen,she fled her home,leaving to find like-minded people,people who wanted to be free. She found a Quebecois cell of rebels who taken her in,and they trained her,and,eventually,became one of their finest field operatives. She lied,cheated,killed and stole from the Populas Salvator,all in an effort to undermine their grip on Quebec.

However,this did nothing. The Populas Salvator was simply too massive. Instead,all their efforts earned them was a visit from the Ghost of Sparta,with Grand General Woods himself leading the assault against the rebel's base of operations. The man was always ten steps ahead,always ready to face any ambush,any flanking attempt,and he avoided their traps like they had glowing neon smoke.

In the end,their defeat was absolute. The Crown's forces completely erased the French rebel faction to completely,that not even their name remains. However,refusing to surrender,Jeanne took to the field herself,and found the Grand General himself,piloting the legendary Rippling Wall. He effortlessly dispatched her friends with that damnable halberd of his.

He rounded on her,and after a heated duel,he removed the Le Réactif Blême's arms,and prepared to cleave the mech in half from the head. Seeing no other option,Jeanne ejected her powersuit,the L'illustre Héritière,from the mech's chassis,straight at the Rippling Wall's chest. Producing a laser core sampling drill,she pierced the machine's chest,and found herself in the Grand General's cockpit. It was surprisingly spacious,and many of the screens were folded away from her point of entry. "Merde..." was all she could say when she realized that the Grand General had a revolver trained on her exact position.

In a final bid of desperation,Jeanne tried to lunge at the unarmoured man,but his finger was quicker; Just as she tensed herself to lunge,he fired,the single bullet plowing through her pauldron and shoulder. The damage was severe; Her arm was severed inside the armour. As she tumbled into the cockpit,paralyzed in shock,the Grand General calmly placed a bottle of beer by her face,and calmly informed her that she was a prisoner of war,and will be kept from further harm,should she cooperate.

So utterly broken,Jeanne did nothing as she was brought to the Ghost of Sparta. Her mech's wreck was left abandoned in the streets of Valcartier,and Jeanne was never seen nor heard from again.

Skills: Jeanne is an ace in operating a mech or powersuit in combat,capable of tearing down far superior opponents. She is also a talented tank gunner. Jeanne is able to service vehicles,mechs,powersuits,and weapons quite ably,as well. These skills translate directly to a knowledge of how,exactly,to destroy those things,as well. Finally,she's a good seamstress.

Special Ability: Electrokinesis. She has spent great effort to keep this talent hidden from the Populas Salvator,and even in the brig on the Ghost of Sparta,they still do not know of her ability. She has no specific specialization in this art.

History: The Le Réactif Blême was built out of spare parts and assorted vehicles. Despite this ramshackle construction,the Le Réactif Blême is a sturdy,and powerful,rustbucket. Weapons: When it was operational,the Le Réactif Blême was in possession of a simple mace,machine gun,and flamer.

History: The L'illustre Héritière was developed by a now forgotten resistance movement to protect their shock troopers in battle. The two brothers have a split personality. Where a lot of twins hate being so closely identified with their twin, the Bailey brothers love it. They often are able to complete each other's sentences, and are easily persuaded to their brother's views on the rare occurrence they do disagree. Despite their intelligence, they are extremely lazy and rather sit around smoking. They make light of almost every situation, turning it into a joke somehow. They are hard to anger even when you do something that "pisses" them off, they usually just make fun of you.

Their work is invaluable, they are some of the most innovative and skilled engineer, mechanic, programmer etc, around, but a lot of times they get overlooked for jobs. Why? Because they rather smoke and sit around talking about the job they have to do. So a job, that would take a normal person 3 days, they could do in 1, but usually take 5. They don't seem to have a serious bone in their body.

Personality: Thorn is, for a lack of a better word, a douchebag. The guy doesn't care unless you are one of two people: Terrence or Clarice. You ain't? Shut the hell up. Got problems? Don't tell them to Thorn, because he doesn't care. Want help? Don't ask Thorn, because he'll never do it unless there is something in it for him. Or unless it sparks his interest.

Heck, Thorn is the type of guy that doesn't look twice at a dying child, nonetheless some whiny, annoying brat.

But weird enough, Thorn is patient. He'll tell you he doesn't care, but he won't curse at you to leave him alone. He won't give you feedback, he won't give you advice but he'll listen quietly to whatever you say then reply to you as honest as possible. "I don't give a fuck."

For those that he does care about, Terrence and Clarice, it's a 180 degree turn. Not that he stops swearing { unless he's in front of Clarice} but rather that uncaring nature is gone. He'll listen like a lovesick puppy, and act like a crazed father to keep the two safe and sound. He truly loves them, and doesn't stop from showing it. At all. Thorn is loyal like that, and the few that are 'under his wing' are cherished. Even if they are only two at the moment.

Do not imagine how Thorn would act if the two people he loved were in danger. You'd be traumatized.

History: Thorn was born in the streets of a small city in Europe, being abandoned by his mother when he was merely two. Thorn doesn't remember her face anymore and neither does he care, resenting her for leaving him to rot. He was picked up and raised by Clarice in a small abandoned apartment downtown, with no electricity or water. They lived on scrapes turned into small meals for years.

It was due to their horrible living conditions that Thorn joined the local gangs when he was twelve, learning the ways of the streets by the time he was fourteen. He'd bring home whatever food they had stolen from a small military base nearby. About forty of them would be sent in, and barely fifteen would come back at times. It was a suicide mission that Thorn became known for, the story of the Red Rose, the survivor, spreading throughout town.

The first time Thorn met Terrence was during one of these missions. The military base had changed their storage area and a few weeks back they had taken in some rebels from the east. Terrence had been locked inside a small cell right next to the new storage area, with wounds all over her body. Shallow but still there.

Out of pity, Thorn had taken her away from the cell and to Clarice to heal. And so their relationship bloomed, her becoming second to Clarice at first. And then suddenly, she was the priority. He felt bad, but also accepted the fact that it was two very different loves. The love for ones mother and the love for The One.

Too bad he can't tell her that. She'll forever see him as her older brother. It's sad, really.

The trio left the city three years later, and had been on the run until last year when they joined the rebels. They, Clarice and Terrence, didn't like the current system. Thorn didn't care, he'd follow them anywhere.

Skills: Thorn is a decent fight and can hold his own, he has potential due to his constant physical training. He's observant, and a quick thinker naturally. Thorn is known for his patience, weird enough. He's an okay cook, and has some skills within the mechanical fields.

Thorn is a great inventor however he doesn't have knowledge about the engineering world, his inventions more in the 'spy' category.

Thorn prides himself in being great at chess, or any other strategy-based game.

Thorn hasn't discovered his 'power' but it is rather passive. However, in due time, this power will develop and be easily noticed by both him and his peers.

Tactical Analysis Ultimate Form: It's is the ability to be an extremely skilled strategic genius and apply this skill for several objectives. One is able to grasp situations easily, create extremely complex plans/strategies/tactics, and think of several possible outcomes and how to counter them before they come to happen. This isn't only implied in battle but also in everyday life.

Tactical Analysis {Present}: Thorn has always had a knack for grasping situations, however it takes a bit time. He can plan fairly good strategies, and think of few possible outcomes and how to counter them if they happen/before they happen. However he can't as of yet, imply this in everyday life, except perhaps games etc.

Personality: Terrence is quite similar to Thorn, with her rather rude side. She's not mean, and she does care for people, just not openly. She doesn't like being all 'lovey-dovey' with people, and she never will. She does curse once in awhile, and she can be cranky in the morning. She's not patient and likes to be in action, rarely standing still.

Terrence, at times, doesn't know her limits and she hates liars. So if you are caught in one, be prepared for a rant. But once you get to know her, you'll find her quite cute, with all her snark and sarcasm.

For Terrence, two people matter the most. Thorn, her 'big brother', and Clarice, the sweetest person she has ever met. In fact, Terrence acts like an overprotective mother to Clarice, even though the woman is much older than her and tries to protect her 'innocence'. To Thorn? She's her usual self, with all the snark and sarcasm, and soft eyes.

And then there's Naomi. Terrence doesn't know what she feels for the girl, and she's a bit afraid to find out, to be honest.

Eve is one of those girls that people seem to instinctively trust, and she takes that role with grace. She is kind and considerate, and often takes home injured animals she finds to try and nurse them back to health (or shell just fix them up with her powers). Shes extremely shy, usually staying at the edges of Brigade shenanigans unless she has to be directly involved. She also has anxiety, and has to take medications daily to control it.

History:

She was born in a small farming town in Quebec, to a pair of loving parents. Her mother came from a long line of resistance fighters, with her great-great parents fighting in the seven year war. Her mother was not as extreme as the rest of her family, choosing to move into a small farming town to distance herself from them. Eve did not know about her mothers extremist background until she turned 13, when she discovered a box of letters from her uncle in the attic, all of them begging her mother to respond. She was immensely curious, seeing as her mother never mentioned any family at all. She asked her mother about the box of letters she found, her mother became enraged, and made her promise to never bring up the letters ever again. But her curiosity was not satisfied by this, and she eventually contacted her uncle. He was overjoyed to hear from her, and they kept up correspondence by letter until she was 14, when he abruptly stopped writing her back. She was confused, but her powers were soon discovered afterwards, and before she could do any investigating she was sent to the capital city to hone her powers. She had an uneventful year after that, her mind to preoccupied with remembering the bone structure of a human or the signs of gangrene infections. It wasn't until she was 15 when she actually had time to investigate her uncle's disappearance, it wasn't that long of a search. She knew that he had been involved in a rebel movement in the southwest, so it didn't take her that much looking to find that the entire operation was taken down, and that no prisoners were taken. It sadden and enraged her to learn about his death, and she vowed to follow in his foot steps. She stayed at the capital city for another year, before being released to humanitarian work. From the ages of 17-23 she bounced from continent to continent, helping people when she could. During that time, she always kept her ears and eyes open for other rebel groups, she saw a lot of them, but always got a bad vibe from the group and moved on. She came back to Quebec to care for her aging parents, her mother dying shortly after her return, and her father dying when she was 24. She resided in her childhood home for another six months, and then caught wind of the Short Change Brigade. She quickly sold all her belongings and joined the Brigade soon after, and has been with them ever since.

Skills:

She is clever and able to make due with the things around her. She is a crack shot to, able to hit targets at 200 meters without breaking a sweat. She is also a skilled writer and story teller

Special Abilities:

Healing

: A basic,some would say primal,power. The ability to make whole what was once broken. A wholly useful and constructive ability. A Healer is always welcomed,as their services are in great demand across the planet. Many serve the Crown,but many still are allowed to work outside of the Crown's authority,for the sake of humanitarian objectives. All Healers are cataloged when identified,and treated as neutral until they directly act against the Crown.

Limitations:
Each healer has their own specific limitations, and she is no different. She has to be physically touching the wounded area that she is trying to heal, and she cannot heal sicknesses. While she can heal infections, her powers have absolutely no affects on even a slight fever. She can heal mortal wounds, but she cannot revive people with her powers.

Excellent character,though I'll let HeartoftheRaven be the final arbiter. I have,however,a couple of problems with your sheet. One minor,one major.

Let's start with the big one.

Your history. Grand General Robin Woods presides over North America. While his character sheet is not publicly available,he is actually an incredibly kind and benevolent viceroy; He offers regular doles of food and water,sometimes even his own (best in the world) alcohol. The booze tends to be very strong stuff,pretty much worthy of medical use,in a pinch. He also tasks his forces with the construction and maintenance of infrastructure,and offers guards and support staff to some of the larger farms. All said,the people of North America are actually pretty well-off,and,as such,Woods is largely adored.

However,he is also a source of near-absolute terror; His tactics on dealing with insurrection can best be described as "Leave no traces". The rebel movements he locates,he uproots,and erases entirely,and goes so far as to remove their names from memory,if he can. His own mobile base is,quite literally,the size of a mountain,and is fully amphibious by way of crawling on the bottom of a water body,packing numerous triple barreled turrets,missile pods,and point defense guns,on top of its ability to store,maintain,and deploy a considerable ground force,and an aerial task force,generally consisting of VTOL fighter-bombers. His base,the Ghost of Sparta,is even capable of manufacturing parts,and even whole vehicles,if supplies are provided.

If I might be so bold,maybe attach Mademoiselle Remmington to Jeanne's late resistance movement? That way,you still have a reason to fight the Populas Salvator,but still maintain Quebecois heritage. Just make sure you have a reason for not being killed or taken prisoner in Woods' assault.

As for the minor issue,it's your marksmanship,and your pistol. .22 Short is not a powerful round. Armour of any description will stop the bullet dead,even if you somehow manage to get .22 Short AP. As such,the round would only go 200 meters if you actually use the weapon like an artillery piece. The Crown's troops all wear all-concealing armour,so a .22 won't do jack to them. Might I suggest something larger? This would also enable 200 meter marksmanship,if you go with something like a .44,.45,or .50 AE.
