If you're talking strictly RpNation, this site was made on May 2010.
It's an incarnation of several sites that have merged together that all have different dates - but that's a much more complicated story!
I can say in my time here that we have certainly fit a lot of roleplayers needs

According to WolframAlpha (a computing engine), the domain "rpnation.com" first went live in 2004. Who owned it then, I have no idea.
