HOW IT BEGAN

"What has the world become?" - Return of the Elemental Lords

In this Universe, there once was seven original beings who existed before anything, or anyone else. Known as, Elemental Lords. One day, these seven decided to play with their abilities beyond making mere stars, black holes, moons, and barren planets. They decided to make Zylo. This planet had acres and acres of greenery with thousands upon thousands of miles worth of water that covered it. A sun for twelve hours, a moon for another twelve. It was a Utopia but the Elemental Lords wanted to extend their powers further. So, they did. Insert, the creation of man. Earth and Water created its base, its shell, it's body. Whilst, Light created something more for it, a soul. Air gave him breath and Fire gave him fuel. Together, they created life. Enjoying their abilities together they made more creatures, these were bunched as animals. Ecstatic, and on a creating high they all decided to create beings that had a bit more of their element in them. So, the eight creatures of Zylo were made. Fire created Dragons, humans who had the ability to morph into flying reptilian creatures who could breathe out her element and expel it from their hands in human form. Water created Mermaids, humans who could breathe in their element and live, they didn't need air to survive. Not to mention, they could control the very basic form of their element. They had tails in water, and legs on land. Earth, created Greats, humans with extreme strength, durability, and the power to communicate with animals. Air created Angels, humans with retractable wings, with the ability to soar and manipulate their element. Light decided to create Fae, a divine type, with unnatural beauty and immortality. A creature able to expel their element even in the darkest hour. Darkness created Vampires. Beings who thrived in their element who had fangs and needed blood to survive. A creature with supernatural speed and the ability to turn into a shadow. Once they were done, they were beyond exhausted but proud of their work. Unfortunately, the last element, Time, was a bit perturbed at not being able to create something fantastic like their siblings. As a result, in spite, they trapped their siblings in a slumber for five hundred thousand years in their element on the large planet of Zylo before vanishing, butthurt about their "weakness" and inability to create. These five hundred thousand years have passed and the Elemental Lords are awake and curious about what their world has become.

SPECIES

"What has the world become?" - Return of the Elemental Lords

Humans - The first beings created by the Elemental Lords. They are the base for all the others, made in the God's image. Because they are evenly balanced with all the elements, they're more in tune with magic than the other species. As a result, that's they're primary ability and source of their power, excluded their intellect and quick wit. Humans can be found in Gento and Erynada. Humans may be the shortest-lived and weakest creatures made by the Lords but they are not a force to be overlooked.
Dragons - The beings made by the Elemental Lord Seraphine were made fierce, powerful, and natural predators - in their dragon form anyhow. Dragons are mainly found in their kingdom Korno, the kingdom Flynki, but also the kingdom Gento - the melting pot of the world. There are some who live in their allies Mer and Fae kingdoms. Though Dragons are one of the fiercest species made, they come in all shapes and sizes.
Greats - The beings made by the Elemental Earth Lord - said to be the "enhanced" version of humans. With supernatural speed and durability, Greats are physically, leagues better than humans. That said, there's no rivalry between the two types, they're actually allies and can be found in Erynada as well as Gento. Though, with strength rivaling a Dragons (in human form) they can be huge softies for, they can communicate with animals.
Angels - The winged humans, Angels are a beautiful sight. Their beauty rivaled only by Fae. Beyond their wings and manipulation of air, they're very similar to humans yet surprisingly, they prefer allying with Dragons more than humans. Angels can be found in Flynki and Gento.
Vampires - Infamously known as the "terrors of the night", these creatures of the dark created by Darkness himself are a force to reckon with. While they don't have the monstrous form of dragons or strength of Greats, they have inhuman speed and instincts, and natural weapons - fangs. Vampires are seen in Gento and in their kingdom Shaden. Vampires may be creatures of blood but they do have hearts that feel.
Fae - The purest type, made from the Light Elemental Lord herself. Fae have the most neutral kingdom in Zylo. Though they're seen as entities of purity they can come in all shades of nasty and vile. Strongest in the day than the night, Fae are Zylo's heavenly entities which can be seen in Gento or Flynki.
Mermaids - Mermaids, the species created by the Water Lord. Called the "Humans of the Water", mermaids possess an underwater kingdom. The strongest mers are said to be able to manipulate blood a feat thought impossible until recently. Mermaids call the Xiyo islands home though some live near the rivers in Gento. The humans of the sea, mermaids are some of Zylo's finest creations.
