A light breeze, ruffling her fur.

The pleasantly warm earth soft against her paws as she stretched out on the ground.

Engele yawned. It was a fine summer day, and she was relaxing in a patch of warm sunlight. Rolling over, she got to her paws and licked a tuft of untidy fur on her chest. I am so glad winter’s over. I have definitely had enough of snow. In a brisk move, she whisked her tail, trotting over to her den. She curled up in a furry sandy-brown pile of bristly fur.

I will enjoy the beauties of summer, but later.

Now it is time for sleep.
