One thing you will notice is there are no mentors. In this warrior cats world the apprentices are trained by their parrents.

Chapter 1​

Amberkit woke up to see her mother walking out of the nursery.
"Mom?" She meowed raising her head to look at her mother.
"Oh I'm sorry did I wake you? " Sunleap said as she turned around and walked over to her kit.
"Where are you going?" She asked getting to her paws.
" I just need to talk to your father about somthing. Why don't you go find Emberkit."

"Ok thanks mom!" Amberkit skipped to the entrance of the nursery. She looked around and saw her brother, Emberkit, talking to Rubblepaw, the newest apprentice.
" Emberkit! " She meowed across the clearing. She then walked up to her brother.
" Hi Amberkit, I was just talk-" Emberkit was interrupted by a yowel from High rock.

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the high rock for a clan meeting."
Amberkit quickly walked over to her mother.
" What's happening? "
"You'll see" She responed.
Amberkit heard Duststar meow from High rock, " Amberkit and Emberkit, you both have reached your sixth moon and now it's time for you to become apprentices."
Amberkit walked up to her father who was waiting beneath high rock. Emberkit right behind her.
"Amberkit from this day forward until you receive your warrior name you will be called Amberpaw" Amberpaw saw her father gleem with pride as she touched noses with him.
" Emberkit from this day forward until you receive your warrior name you will be called Emberpaw. " Emberpaw touched noses with their father.
" The clan meeting is dismissed. " Duststar said as he jumped down from the high rock.
"Wow we're apprentices now!" Emberpaw meow.
"I know, it's exciting!" Amberpaw responded.
"All right you two it's time to start your training" Came a voice from behind them. They turned around to see their father.
