Name: Ichigo Kurosaki

Fandom: Bleach

Age: 17

Personality: As a teenager, Ichigo is stubborn, short-tempered, strong-willed, and impulsive. Despite claiming not to care about what other people think about him, he attempts to maintain a detached and "cool" image. He generally keeps his face set in a near-permanent scowl, with his eyebrows drawn together. His outspoken, hot-headed demeanor is a trait Ichigo himself has acknowledged, and if somebody picks a fight with him, he cannot help fighting back. He coldly refers to his teachers as "instructors". When it comes to fighting, Ichigo has a complex sense of honor; he regularly seeks to exact revenge for the cruel actions of his opponent, such as instilling the fear of being murdered in Shrieker and cutting off the right arm of Yammy Llargo in retaliation for him ripping Yasutora Sado's right arm off.

History: Ichigo was born on July 15th as the son of Isshin Kurosaki and Masaki Kurosaki, 15 years before he became a Shinigami. His sisters Karin Kurosaki and Yuzu Kurosaki were born a few years later. When he was four, Ichigo joined a karate dojo, where he met and befriended Tatsuki Arisawa. Though Tatsuki beat Ichigo in every match they had, she would help Ichigo if he was being picked on by bullies and cheer him up if he was upset. Ichigo was able to see Pluses for as long as he could remember. He could see them so clearly, as a child, he could not tell the living from the dead. This resulted in him appearing to other people to be looking at deserted places and talking to himself. This caused people to say he could see ghosts, though when Tatsuki asked him about this, he denied being able to see them. On June 17th, when Ichigo was nine years old, he and his mother were walking home alongside one of Karakura Town's rivers, which was swollen from heavy rain. Seeing a girl near the river, Ichigo thought she was about to jump into it. Unable to tell the difference between ghosts and living people, Ichigo ran towards her to stop her, unaware the girl was the lure of the HollowGrand Fisher. Masaki tried to stop him, but he did not listen. After failing to grab hold of the girl, Ichigo lost consciousness for a time. When he awoke, Masaki was lying on top of him, covered in blood.Starting the day after Masaki's death, Ichigo repeatedly skipped school to go to the riverbank where Masaki died. Tatsuki found him there, where he would stay from morning until night, wandering along the bank as if searching for his mother, squatting down if he was tired and then wandering some more. One day, when Ichigo was twelve, prior to the Kurosaki Clinic opening, he heard the bell ring and answered the door to find a girl with her brother on her back. He had been in a car accident, and was covered in blood. The clinic did not have the equipment necessary to save him, and he died before an ambulance arrived to transfer him to Karakura Hospital. Sometime later, he learned the girl was Orihime Inoue. Ichigo later entered Mashiba Junior High School. During this time, Ichigo finally defeated Tatsuki in a karate match, and had not had another match with her since. Ichigo regularly got into fights with thugs, due to the unusual color of his hair. During one of these fights, he received help from Yasutora Sado. Shortly after, Ichigo returned the favor when he rescued Sado from two gang members roughing him up. When the thugs later abducted Sado, Ichigo found them and knocked down their leader, Yokochini. Using Yokochini's phone to ring for an ambulance for each of the five thugs, he beat up all of them. After Sado was freed, they made a pact to protect and fight for each other. Shortly before Ichigo became a Shinigami, he and Sado began attending Karakura High School, and their reputations preceded them. During a fight with a gang led by Reiichi ?shima, Ichigo and Sado met Keigo Asano and Mizuiro Kojima, saving the former in the process. While Keigo was initially afraid of Ichigo and Sado, both he and Mizuiro later became friends with them.

Name:

Jackson Overland Frost (Jack Frost)

Fandom:

Rise of the Guardians

Age:

17 (Nearly over 300)

Personality:

Jack Frost is a mischievous teenage hellion who has no interest in being bound by rules or obligations, and rather instead favors spreading his winter magic for the sake of the personal amusement of himself and children. Despite these traits, Jack is also gentle and generous.

The source of Jack's anti-social behavior towards the Guardians and refusal to adhere to rules was mostly because of his frustration with the Man in the Moon never answering his questions about who he was or why he was created, and also because no human, child or adult, was able to see him for centuries for no one had believed in him. But as Jack spends time in the Guardians' company, each individual would have an effect on him that would change him from a mischief-making winter spirit to a full-fledged Guardian in his own right, as well a hero.

It was his refusal to give up in the face of overwhelming odds that enabled him to help one child, Jamie Bennett, keeps his beliefs in all of the Guardians as well as finally being able to see and believe in Jack Frost. Jack's desire to protect Jamie, as he once did his sister, helped him realize his center; Fun.

Jack proudly accepted the duties and responsibilities as the Guardian of Fun. His purpose, is to spread the feelings of fun, joy, and happiness to bolster the faith children have in the Guardians.

Even before he officially became a Guardian, Jack displayed some pride in what he does, particularly the Snow Days he makes for children to have fun.

History:

http://riseoftheguardians.wikia.com/wiki/Jack_Frost#Rise_of_the_Guardians

Powers:

Jack is both the Guardian of Fun and the Spirit of Winter, surprisingly powerful and a cunning trickster. It's his job to make children have fun, while bringing joy and fun times with Winter and snow days, thereby making them happy and bolstering their faith in the Guardians.

Winter Magic

As the Spirit of Winter, Jack commands snow, ice, frost, and later learned he can unleash energy bolts of ice, and he can easily freeze things over/solid with a mere wave of his staff. Originally, Jack channeled his Winter Magic through his staff, mistaking it to be the source of his power, when really it was just a conduit. Jack can conjure ice, snow, and frost from his mere presence, as well as freezing winds, snowballs, snowflakes, etc. Jack can even manifest images from frosted window panes, freeze water by walking on it, and conjure indoor snowfall, and of course, being the spirit of winter, he is not bothered by the cold.

Flight

Jack is able to fly by riding the wind. He flies by floating like a snowflake, and propels himself with wind to fly faster.

Magic of Fun

As the Guardian of Fun, Jack can bewitch others with feelings of fun, joy, and laughter with his snowballs or even his snowflakes. This was first seen when he hit Cupcake with a snowball, quelling her anger, and helping her have fun and become friends with Jamie and the other kids.

Free running

]Jack is a very skilled free runner and can quickly move across rooftops or even weave through traffic with uncanny speed and agility, as he safely directed Jamie on an epic sled-ride.

Magic Staff

Jack has a magic staff with which he can control the elements of winter. Originally, he thought this staff was the source of his power, when really it was just a conduit for him to channel the magic of winter that had really been inside of him, seen when he repaired it through sheer force of will after Pitch snapped it in half.

Name: Ballos One-Eye

Fandom: Magic: the Gathering (He's an original character)

Age: 178

Personality: Ballos cares for rules about as much as a rock cares to move. This isn't out of some malicious personality,or anything. He simply believes that rules, with their artificial nature and reason, get in the way of what is truly important: Survival and freedom, two things that form the very core of his being, thanks to him being a Red/Green Planeswalker. If he has a goal,he will belligerently pursue it,taking the most direct path, regardless of resistance. Such a thing happens when you're part-troll,part-ogre.

Powers: As a Planeswalker,Ballos is an obscenely powerful wizard. As a Red/Green-aligned Planeswalker,he values power, freedom, and the natural order above all else. As a Planeswalker,Ballos is functionally ageless, with the ability to walk between Planes at will, and is easily the most powerful wizard in any given room.

To this end,he has a repertoire of extremely powerful spells at his disposal. Normally,a Planeswalker would need to draw magic from the land around them, which would be mountains and forests for Ballos. However, him being hurled around the multiverse against his will so violently seems to have fundamentally changed how his magic works; He naturally generates mana without a noticable source, but very slowly (One per post),and only while under duress. While this has put a bit of a damper on his early-engagement strategies,it benefits him in longer-term engagements.

As a foreword,it would be best to look these spells up on the Gatherer if you want to know exactly what they do.

Pure Red Magic

Red magic is all about big and visceral expressions of power. Fireballs, lightning bolts, goblins, dragons, and ogres are all aligned with Red mana.

-Shivan Meteor

-Lightning Bolt

-Banefire

-Fireball

-Pyroclasm

-Staggershock

-Pyretic Ritual

-Seething Song

-Infernal Plunge

-Geosurge

-Forked Lightning

-Act of Treason

-Blasphemous Act

-Assault Strobe

-Arc Blade

-Cleaver Riot

-Death by Dragons

-Savage Beating

-Battle Hymn

Colourless and Artifact Magic

These creatures and objects exist outside of the natural order of things, mostly because they are artificial, but in Emrakul's case,it's because it is simply alien to our way of conducting reality.

-Shrine of Burning Rage

-Shrine of Bounding Growth

-Emrakul,The Aeons Torn

-Sword of Vengeance.
Ballos personally wields this weapon.

-Akroma's Memorial

-Basilisk Collar

-Argentum Armour

-Two Kaleidostones.
These stones are on his person at all times. When shattered, they unleash one aspect of the Five Colours of Mana each. When shattered, that's it.

Pure Green Magic

Green mana is all about strength and the natural order. Elves, great beasts, and the destruction of the synthetic and unraveling of enchantments are part of what it can do.

-Roughshod Mentor

-Overwhelming Stampede

-Khalni Hydra

-Phyrexian Hydra

-Hydra Omnivore

-Kalonian Hydra

-Primordial Hydra

-Sprouting Phytohydra

-Protean Hydra

-Giant Growth

-Bird of Paradise

-Werebear

-Gaea's Cradle

-Mycoloth

-Sprout

-Sprout Swarm

-Utopia Mycon

Multicolour Magic

Multicoloured magic is complex, yet almost always worth it. Spells cast with numerous types of mana possess the traits of all that creates them.

-Progenitus

-Apocalypse Hydra

-Savageborn Hydra

-Ulasht,the Hate Seed

Planeswalker Magic

All Planeswalkers have access to some rather personal spells. These are reflected by the effects of Planeswalker cards in the game. These spells directly tie into eachother: They either empower or drain the Planeswalker of energy. The following are Ballos' personal spells.

Empower: Ballos conjures a mushroom-creature known as a Saproling. They are aligned with Green mana.

Minor Drain: Ballos clones all of his Saprolings once.

Major Drain: Ballos empowers his hydras with the ability to breathe fire, vastly magnifying their combat effectiveness.

Exile: In one way or another, remove the target from this universe. Red generally unmakes them, while other colours simply displace them.

Upkeep: This character's universe started as a card game. For the RP's purposes, the "Upkeep" is the beginning of each post. Ballos' upkeep is the start of any of my posts featuring him. Ballos generates one Red or Green mana of my choice on each of his upkeeps.

Haste: Most summoned creatures suffer from summoning sickness, and as such cannot immediately act. Creatures graced with Haste are able to act immediately.

Summoning Sickness: Summoning sickness is a debilitating, yet momentary condition that effects most fresh summons, rendering them unable to do anything for several seconds.

Vigilance: Creatures with Vigilance are ever-vigilant,as it implies, never letting their guard down of their own accord. If a creature attacks,it will let it's guard down unless it's vigilant.

Double Strike: Creatures with double strike are so impossibly fast that they can strike twice when anything else would only be able to strike once. The first strike is so lightning-quick as to be impossible to defend against without similar speed, and the second strike is generally able to be defended against by mundanes.

First Strike: Creatures with first strike are impossibly swift strikers, but are generally unable to follow-up. They will always strike first, but are left wide open to a counterattack should their target survive.

Flying: The creature is able to fly, with or without wings.

Trample: The creature is either so large,so heavy,or carries so much raw force that it simply plows through anything it can to reach the target.

Protection From X: Where X is any given value, from one of the colours of mana,to a certain species of creature,to (literally) everything. Creatures enjoying this effect are immune to any efforts of the protected-from source, and may not be directly targeted by them, either.

Hexproof: A creature benefiting from Hexproof is protected from all malicious effects that are not directly related to proper fighting. This means, more or less,it's immune to hostile magic

On top of ALL of this,as he has troll's blood,he regenerates from his wounds remarkably quickly, and is surprisingly resistant to magic. With his ogre heritage, combined with his troll heritage,he is extremely strong, physically, and nearly as durable as the mountains he used to call home.

Background: Ballos One-Eye is an abomination among monsters. He is two halves monster, one whole freak,as he was sired by the union of a troll and an ogre. How this came to be is beyond him,and he has long since given up on trying to puzzle out the why of his genesis. From an early age,he was ostracized from the ogre societies, and as trolls didn't exactly have a society of their own,he had a hunch that he wouldn't be welcome among them, either. Needless to say,the other, more "civilized" races of his home Plane tried, many times,to kill him on sight.

Needless to say,the freak of nature survived. However, there was one instance where a band of elves very nearly killed him.

Actually, they DID kill him, with a cruelly barbed broadhead arrow in the right eye.

And this was the moment that changed the rest of his life. In a flash,as his grotesque heart stopped,he had a vision. Monumental beasts, heads outnumbering the trees. Mushrooms come to life, swarming their prey and desired hosts. Things as grotesque as he. He felt a great power within him,a great heat, and it demanded to be released. Lying in the limbo betwixt life and death on the mountainside, with an arrow in his head, the freak complied.

A great outpouring of fire and lightning followed, annihilating everything within a mile of his awakened radiance. His Spark has awakened. Where he once saw unyielding pillars of stone,he saw power. Where he once saw the homes of the hated elves,he saw a great, infinite tool, and a barracks for his armies. He was a Planeswalker, and a troll to boot. He tore the arrow from his eye,and cast it aside,no worse for wear, and disappeared into the forest below, seeking his armies.

Fire, lightning. They were energy. Raw mana, manifested to do work. But creatures had to be summoned from elsewhere. This was to be the place. After a century of wandering,he had succeeded where none other had: He was accepted by the mighty, unruly, untameable hydras, and the Saprolings formed a symbiotic bond with him.

To Ballos, the hydras were the purest expression of power and tenacity. They were legion, they were mighty, and they scoffed at the artificial bounds set by the less enlightened races, and flouted their conventions in favor of the natural order: Kill,or be killed. Survive, and grow. To him, they were gods. The Saprolings he worked with he chose as his own personal servants,to spread far and wide, proliferate infinitely.

And now,as he crossed the infinite Planes,he felt something...Pull at him. And it was rather insistent. It tore him from the Aether between Planes, violently and unbidden, and dumped him in a strange place, with naught but a note, his robes of fungus-bearing hydra skin, his sword, and two Kaleidostones.

Other: Vortex. Also,Ballos One-Eye is half-ogre/half-troll,as outlined above. He's tough,he's strong, and to cap it all off,he's an extremely powerful,if not obscenely powerful wizard. While his primary weapon is his magic,he'll fight himself if he needs to,and his sword helps on that front plenty.

Name: Brogan Ready (he also has three middle names)

Fandom: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

Age: 21

Personality: Cautious, Creative, Gentle. Brogan avoids conflict when he can, and only fights to defend others or himself. Because of his developed disinclination for violence, he makes the perfect host for the unbelievably destructive potential of the corruption that he is cursed to bear for life. Despite years of mastered discipline and self-control, he often fears that the corruption will one day override his will and hurt those he cares about...*coughKnivesChaucough* The only situation in which Brogan will willingly involve himself in violence that isn't self defense is if the situation is a matter of honor. For whatever reason, Brogan feels naturally inclined to follow an honor code which, in terms of personal aspects, seems to be independent of his pacifistic side, and will override it in corresponding circumstances.

History: Brogan is not really a major ex-boyfriend of Ramona's, but they had a small fling at one point in time. He chose not to involve himself in the League of Evil Exes, but after defeating the League, Scott eventually found out. He tracked down Brogan and challenged him to a battle, to which Brogan reluctantly accepted. They fought for nearly hours, but neither could seem to best the other. Scott eventually realized that they were too evenly matched, and the two decided to call it a draw, agreeing that Ramona's past affairs was all water under the bridge. Brogan became a friend of Scott's, and they often sparred with each other for fun, still eager to discover who was the better combatant. Brogan also became romantically interested in Knives Chau, and the two only recently officially became "a thing".

Powers:

Heightened Physical State: Generic enhanced strength, speed, etc. Skilled in hand to hand combat.

The World: Like everyone else inside of Scott Pilgrim's universe, Brogan experiences life in the form of one huge video game/anime/comic book. He has a natural inclination to chain his attacks together in combat to create combos. Normally, he would be able to acquire power ups and extra lives, but this aspect of Brogan's life is exclusive to his universe, and this is not utilizable in the game world that he and the others are thrust into.

Biological Augmenting: Brogan is capable of augmenting his body with a corruption that manifests itself in the form of a black and red tar-like substance, as shown in the picture, that can be hardened at shaped at will. His constructs can be anything from spikes protruding from his skin to claws to a tail, he can even alter his saliva glands to let him spit acid. Simply put, Brogan can alter the characteristics (excluding color) of his body at will. His corruption, when introduced to foreign substances, acts as both a weak acid and a poison, slowly eating away at the chemical makeup of the substance. The corruption is stored inside Brogan's body at a set capacity limit, but when used, it slowly regenerates until it reaches capacity again.

The VitaBlade: Brogan wields a sword that is imbued with technology that gives it immunity to the destructive effects of Brogan's corruption, allowing him to augment his weapon as well. He can use his corruption to lengthen or widen the blade, or change the blade's shape.
