VoR-100: House of a Thousand Doors

Surviving in the Metro
House of a Thousand Doors

Artifact Nature:

VoR-100 is a one story house of undetermined origin located in a small town in [REDACTED], UK. The first visible phenomenon is that the inside dimensions do not correlate with the outside. When viewed from the outside, the house appears to be 8x10x3 meters, however the inside of first room exceeds these measurements by 5 meters wide, 10 meters in length, and an unknown distance up. The ceiling seems to never end and is covered in darkness after 5.3 meters. No light can penetrate the darkness.

The house also has two windows on the outside, one on each side of the front door. When looking into the house from these windows, a seemingly normal house interior is seen. A living room completely furnished with 2 sofas, a rocking chair, 2 side tables (one with a lamp on top), a television, a rug, a dining table with six chairs, and a door that leads to the kitchen. No living being has been seen, although it has been noted that small things seemed to change as if there were actual people living.

The most common anomalies are as follow:

-Slippers are placed in front of one of the sofas.

-The television is on.

-The dining table is served.

-The rocking chair rocks.

None of these anomalies have been seen starting, they only take effect once there is no one looking into the windows.

The second phenomenon, and the most important, manifests when entering through the main door. Instead of seeing the interior viewed through the window, the room with the expanded dimensions and endless ceiling appears. This room is completely bare save for two doors, one being the main door and the second a completely smooth and white door on the opposite side. There are no marking on it, and any damage done to it reverses once the room is left. When crossing this door a common bedroom is seen. It contains a bed, a side table, a desk with a chair, and a empty wardrobe. Once again there are only two doors and no windows. The white entry door, and a blue door with no markings as well.

If one advances through the doors, more rooms in a similar format are seen. They all differ in contents and size, but they all have only two doors (one for entry, and one to continue forward) and no windows are present. At first the rooms seem quite normal, ranging from bedrooms to kitchens, however as one travels further, the room get progressively stranger. This includes things such as a room completely blue, from the items in it to the person who enters it. A room that seems to extend forever. To a room with nothing but a chair made with broken bits of glass in the center. Full list shown below.

While inside, either entering the window or the front door, people have noted feeling as if being watched, although scans show that there are no other living beings inside the house at any moment.

History:

VoR-100 was named the House of a thousand Doors by the inhabitants of the town. Commonly known by all the inhabitants, most preferred to steer clear of the house, going as far as to use another street altogether to not have to walk in front of it. The house came into VoR attention once teenagers started disappearing, blame befalling the house. It seems that entering the house was a common dare in the town, but most of the time they entered the house through the windows. The disappearing teenagers supposedly entered through the main door, in an attempt to find the end of the house.

Currently the house is guarded by VoR agents, and monitored at all times. Searches need to be formally written and sent to the center with a level 2 permission.

Addendum 1 Entering the house through the windows leads to the common house hold viewed. The interior lookslike a normal house containing one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom, and two bedrooms, however no more windows are seen and there appears to be no front door. There is only a plain wall were the door would be located. No signs of life have been detected save from the anomalies described before.

Addendum 2 As of 12/2/19██ the listed anomalies ceased to appear. This was after several splatters of blood appeared on the floor of the living room, and the television seemed to only show static. The windows also seemed to be unable to be opened, even with the use of tools. This does not, however, seem to affect the phenomenon when entering through the main door, nor opening the doors inside.

Addendum 3 During search mission #██ human remains have been found in rooms 0██, ███, ███ and ████. The cause of death seem to range from [REDACTED] to [REDACTED], with one case of [REDACTED]. Extreme caution is advised when going through these rooms.

This is a collab thread, so you guys are encouraged to add rooms to this. The more, the merrier, and you can make it as detailed as you want. Just make sure to add the dimensions and the door previous to it. Also, one small rule, no living things. Let's see how creative you guys are to make a room interesting without adding any sort of monster to it.
