Volaren stands 6'6 and weighs 190lbs; though despite his lithe frame Volaren like other Elves are gifted with above human speed, agility, and strength. Though their greatest gift is raw innate magical talent. Beneath his golden armor, Volaren has numerous battle scars from when he was an elite Elven Vanguard. His pitch black eyes allow him to see in very low light environments. When he is off duty, Volaren lets his brown hair flow freely, but when on duty he ties it in a bun.
Job- As the captain of the guard Volaren duties and responsibilities consist of maintaining good order and discipline among the guards under his command, keeping New Haven safe from threats from within and without. He also does his rounds in the evening.

Bio - Born and raised in Lothren one of the great Elven city states, Volaren was taught science and history and other subjects that highborn elves were privileged to learn. Volaren was rebellious though, he didn't want to be a scholar or a politician, he wanted to be a warrior. At the age of 20 Volaren joined the Lothren military. Serving in the infantry for 10 years, Volaren volunteered to join the Vanguard; Lothren special forces. Undergoing brutal and rigorous training that lasted 5 years Volaren earned his twilight dagger badge, a quicksilver emblem that signified that he was one of Lothren's "Swords of the Evening". Serving in Vanguard for 40 years and taking part in many skirmishes with raiders and other elven city states, Volaren retired and was still quite young by elven standards. Still having an adventurous spirit about himself, Volaren decided to become a sellsword. Wondering the land and taking odd jobs for a few years Volaren came upon New Haven a year ago and through some persuasion from the mayor, Volaren became a guard for the evening shift due to his training and eyesight.
Other - Volaren loves wine of all kinds and enjoys drinking in general. He's more laid back than a majority of elves, who are seen as stuck up or rigid and cold.
