ALEXANDRA LANCASTER

Alliance:

Loyal

Gender:

Female

Appearance:

A gaunt, tall lady of 6 feet with feral golden eyes and a fairly pale complexion, lending her an appearance of a rather creepy doll. She has always been seen in a black mantle 100 years ago, the hood of it almost matching her hair hue for hue. Nowadays, she bears a black trenchcoat to match with the modern times. Both of them have been observed to billow even when no wind is present, and it is even theorised that both the mantle and the trenchcoat are, indeed, part of her, since they reform and disperse with her body when she uses her power.

She smiles rarely, and when she does, the smile is one of reminiscent sorrow. Otherwise, she maintains an unmoving expression of indifference and aloof calm. She is given to smirking when friends of hers entertain her, which is as good as a smile as anyone is going to get from her.

Personality:

Under a surface of a melancholic and pensive expression, lies an incomparable boiling, seething anger. Such is what describes Virgo best nowadays. Many a time have people challenged her, only to find themselves tossed across an entire room by a woman whose facial expressions barely even twitch when she is bringing a fist to someone's face. She has no time for bullshit, and if she has asked a question, it is to the best of the health of everyone around her that it is answered posthaste. Bitter, hateful, and distrusting of her own colleagues, even those loyal to Andromeda, she distances herself from them, choosing instead to mingle amongst humans as one of them, trying her damndest to do something, anything, to find solace in her tumultuous heart.

On another hand completely, she mingles quite well with a human crowd, in spite of her strange bordering on uncanny valley appearance. Amongst human allies, or those she might even call 'friends', she comes off as an aloof big sister of sorts, who watches from aside, arms folded, and offering a few, rare, smirks and even chortles when they do something silly. Perhaps she finds something of Andromeda's within them, a mortality that each and every one of them have, a varying but bright potential in all of them, or perhaps these are the people that Andromeda, and by extension, the Zodiacs, were meant to protect, that she feels so attached to them. She goes as far as to even offer life advice to someone whose bones she has just broken.

She is often blunt, to the point, direct, and takes no especial time to soften any blows verbally. While some may take offense to this, she is usually appreciated for her honesty. She does know how and when to break it to someone, and is capable enough to read the atmosphere, so she isn't wholly a jerk when it comes to opinions. She doesn't take kindly to whining when she gives honest requested opinions, though, so either suck it up, or avoid asking her for opinions entirely.

Power:

Shadow Morph:

Virgo is able to transform into a fluid mass of darkness, and proceed to either move across surfaces at high speeds, or transform into a flock of jet-black ravens. Both forms allow her access into normally inaccessible areas, as well as quick traversal across large areas, either across the skies or the ground. She is entirely impervious to any form of damage in these forms- the ravens merely regenerate rapidly when hurt. Virgo has demonstrated an ability to transform only a part of her body, either to avoid attacks or perform reconnaisance.

As a note, the ravens behave almost like a hive mind, and it isn't rare to see one of them perched over an area, keeping watch. What the bird sees, so does Virgo. The ravens are also quite different from the usual ones: each and every one of them have Virgo's golden eyes. Closer inspection would also reveal that they seem to be exuding some sort of dark smoke in small quantities around them.

Limitation:

Her ability to almost negate any sort of damage is not passive. There is at least a necessary required act on her part to disperse her body and reform it.

It takes time for the ravens to reform into Alexandra, perhaps about 3 seconds. It takes perhaps about 1 second to reform a whole limb. Alexandra, as such, cannot completely use her power as an aid in combat.

Both modes of her transformation are harmless and cannot attack any target directly.

Weapon(s):

Virgo wields a pair of handguns resembling Glocks, jet-black as she is. The curious thing about them is that they also seem to exude the same smoke that the ravens do, and fire odd, pitch-black projectiles that leave a wound but dissipate on a successful hit. Though both guns have an extended magazine inserted into them, no one has ever seen Virgo reload. This has led to theorising that these weapons are part of her as well. 100 years ago, she was said to wield instead black revolvers, reminiscent of the S&W M1917.

The guns don't seem to be any much stronger than a regular handgun, benefitting only from perhaps, infinite ammunition and no physical rounds. It isn't known if the guns can actually load real rounds.

Bio:

Virgo remained loyal to the Princess right down to her death, and is, was, and always will be one who almost cared for the humans as much as her princess did. Her devotion to the princess gave her the epithet of Andromeda's shadow, and was always one to take her side at any given point of time. When Scorpio turned his back on the princess with his merry band of vagabonds, Virgo's usually calm and aloof personality broke, giving way to what would soon become a beast of hatred, and she was the most unnaturally angry of the Zodiacs for the betrayal. She had already fostered a certain hate for them before the princess came and fixed their squabbling.

What drove her further into her long-standing grudge later, was the death of Andromeda when she was away from her sight. Virgo was not a pleasant sight to behold when she returned. Her hair and cloak whipping around in a frenzied whirlwind, the dark-haired raven herself tossing everything she could get her hands on about, cursing the other Zodiacs for their inability, cursing herself for her own slip-up, cursing everything that existed. Disgusted, angry, and generally very, very, unapproachable at that point, she made off to the human realm to calm herself down.

Today, Virgo, now known as Alexandra Lancaster by some, is a self-made pariah of sorts amongst the Zodiacs, refusing to keep in contact with anyone at all. She roams the world, digging up for information about the whereabouts of her old colleagues, hunting every single one of them to find the truth behind the death of a princess most loved. Naturally, the renegades, those who have betrayed Andromeda's trust, will only worsen her growing, but VERY well-hidden, seething anger if they dare approach her. If she ever gets a grasp on the ones responsible, they would know a death no being, celestial or no, have experienced before. The news of another princess has reached her ears, but she is yet to affirm that these candidates would live up to their predecessor's name, and further suspends judgement for the time being.

Looks good ^_^ the only request I have is that any time when Virgo is impervious to damage, she should also be unable to deal damage as well. That seems to be a fairly logical limitation to put in place. Aside from that, she sounds perfect ;)

Seems only fair. I've also tried to pick out what blunders I made while writing this at 3 am in the morning, and made the corresponding edits as you've mentioned. The only problem is that I did these edits at about 3 am the next morning.
